Our flight was cancelled out of Fort Lauderdale due to bad weather on the east coast the weekend Art Basel was in Miami and we had a hard time finding a hotel room. No wonder 1915 N Ocean Drive was one of the last places available. Most disgusting place I have ever stayed! The lobby smelled like mildew. The front door of the room had clearly been kicked in as the door jam was broken and you could see into the hallway with the door closed. We had to ask for towels and sheets twice because there were not any in the room; not even a hand towel. When they finally brought them, they were all wadded up and were still damp and all stained. Every time someone washed their hands in the bathroom the kitchen sink backed up with smelly water. The bathtub drain was growing something as well as the bathroom wall. The roof was covered in trash bags and tar buckets. There was only a quarter roll of toilet paper on the dispenser and no more anywhere in the room. The décor was from the 80’s. My daughter and I didn't slept on the sheets after seeing the “clean” towels. We left our clothes on and slept on top of the comforter. Paint was chipping off the bathtub. The sofa was all stained and I was afraid to pull out the sofa bed. My daughter refused to take a shower in the bathtub and I wore shoes to take a shower and was careful not to touch anything but I regretted as I had forgot how gross the towels were and had to air dry. There was an open area under the kitchen counter that had dead bugs in it. Broken tiles every where, bad drywall work/repairs, and not sure if it was bad grout work or mud. Also, lots of horn honking for extended periods of time all hours of the night.
I could have stayed at Motel 6 for a lot less and it would have been a lot cleaner! Just plain gross! The staff was nice enough but we didn’t complain while we there and left as soon as we got up the next morning. Stay anywhere but here overpriced at $170 a night! I don’t think it was worth $5.00 though. Some of the better reviews on here must be for a different location because this place was gross.

TRAVELERS BEWARE: Absolutely DISGUSTING, and DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!!! My fiancé, one year old and myself checked in around 4:45 Friday evening Immediately we noticed the soap scum in the restroom and request another room. The front desk helper showed us 1 more room that wasnt any better so we decided to just stick with the room we had. About 20 minutes after showering we noticed the long and short body hairs on the sheets, fitted and Top sheet. We were appalled that the housekeeper made the bed with the dirty sheets from the previous guest!! We went to the front desk to see if we could get into one of the rooms shown to us less then an hour ago and apparently they had sold out.. Their only solution for us was FOR US TO MAKE OUR OWN BEDS WITH CLEAN SHEETS!! Like not send a housekeeper over, BUT WE HAD TO MAKE THE BED OURSELVES!! Long story short, the General Manager, who apparently is the daughter of the owner was a completely disrespectful person. Accused us of lying and tried to use the non refundable policy to defend their lack of cleanlinessShe had a horrible attitude No help, no remorse, and even threatened to call the police on us for requesting a refund!! Terrible, terrible experience. Not to mention, NO CABLE, NO TOILET PAPER, BROKEN TILES AND DIRTY AC!!

The owner of this hotel is a thief and a bully who has no idea what customer service looks like. He charged my card after I refused the room for which he gave me 3 different prices. The following day I attempted to seek redress from the manager "Nina" and I received an even worse treatment. They are racist bigots who steal from potential customers. From owner to staff.disgusting!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR CC!!!!

Great place close to the beach with a pool and clean cozy rooms. Beware of only air conditioning option, you'll not be able to open the window. The gay from reception was not so nice, but other staff was kind and helpful.

Clean, quiet, convenient. It's a bit difficult to find via maps. Staff seemed professional yet indifferent.

The conditions. Of the rooms were pretty good. Unfortunately we had a room ready for us and at the last minute they switched it and sent us to a whole separate building (still at their hotel though). The "continental breakfast" was the same everyday with little to choose from. We couldn't get the right amount of towels no matter how many times we asked. But right next to the beach and nothing wrong with the rooms.

Loved this place! Very friendly. They own a chain of hotel all in the same spit..we stayed at the swann and it was not bad . The room was huge, well it was not a room it was a 1 bedroom apartment. Had huge living space, bedroom with king bed, a dining room and kitchen fully equipped! Price was unbeatable!

This place is cheaper than its price.
Internet? Down! Hot water? Down! Management? Down!

.. And not to insult people with special needs, not at all, it's just this place needs special attention from the owners. Your management is absurd and doesn't know what they are doing.

-You have people behind the counter that are not employees. -Your sink water is boiling hot but, your shower is "hot enough", or so does your manager says, but it was cold or as hot as Florida's room temperature ( which I don't consider that hot water).
-Wifi? Was out 'cause of the weather, I get it, but your manager (round tiny one whatever his name is) evicted me for arguing, so I had to call the Police to whom he said, "I wanted to leave on my own", liar! Ignorant and rude..

Wonder what the argument was? Here you!
My question. The Wifi doesn't work, so why do I have to pay for it?

    A-Is the Wifi free?
    B-Well yes it is.
A-Why does it have a password?
    B-It's for guests only.
A-So the Wifi is not free?
B-Yes it is, if you stay in this hotel.
A-Are you saying that if I pay for your room, I get free WiFi?
    B-Well yes indeed.
A-So how is your WiFi free?

This argument went on and no where. It wasn't an argument, it had no end. The Police said, "Well it's free WiFi, if you pay for the room."

    A-What??????

Let me put it into perspective for you I'm giving you my camera for free but, you have to buy my motorcycle. Is the camera for free?

Nobody answered. There is nothing free in this country, not even free thinking. This place is ran by retards. Owners, did you know that? Or
I'd give you a zero star if I could and I also don't because Nina is an excellent employee who could run this joint. Pay attention to your staff!

One more thing, I was asked by Nina to verify my credit card for payments. It was late and I asked if it was possible to be done next day, "no problem", she said. The following morning I approach your Manager in duty and he said it was all "ok, nothing to verify".
.. Is it??? I don't think so, you can't just run a credit card online without ID verification. I mean who's card is this? Did you ask? . In less than a month I want that money returned and your supreme Manager to pay my bill for being such a. let me stop writing here.

    Good-Bye.

When booking a room online you might be placed in one of the 6 or 7 motels which are in the same area, very close to each other. And yes, I called it a motel as that is the most you can call it. Overnight parking is $15 per vehicle. Free wifi and very poor breakfast. Rooms are pretty old and beat up. It is very close to the ocean so this is a big plus if you are into beaches. The beach is beautiful but lacks public restrooms - bummer.

Stayed at the Sea Turtle, another one of their properties. I read the fees (parking, and security deposit etc.) so I had no surprises. People need to read the fine print because they'll complain about something they could have read about beforehand.
The suite was like an apartment; cozy, VERY close to the beach and comfortable. The maid forgot towels until we asked but she was very sweet. I 100% got what I paid for and then some. It was a great stay and the staff were kind and helpful. Definitely recommend to people looking for a getaway; whether you're a group of college students (which this is perfect for) or a couple get away.
