This was just a place to lay our head real quick before moving on. Something is very wrong with there beds. You will roll right off the bed if your not careful. There super soft & bend in towards the middle. The bathtub didn't look like they cleaned it at all. The only thing good about this hotel is the location to the airport, the ports & it's breakfast other than that

Wow.this place is GHETTO, and that’s being kind. We had to sleep with our suitcases at the door to feel secure. The floors were gross in the room (bathroom floor was sticky) and the carpet was so dirty and stained- we wore socks or shoes the entire time. Positive- the water was hot and the towels were clean. Half the ligh bulbs were missing and the outlets didn’t work, we couldn’t charge our phones to call for help if we needed too! We waited for the “free” shuttle for 20 minutes and took a cab. Sleeping at the airport would have been safer. I had prepaid for the room and they charged me another $3.18 for a safe fee. To clarify, I didn’t feel “safe”. I’ve requested a refund, not sure it will show up. Breakfast was cold cereal, bread, juice and coffee, the breakfast room was recently updated and nice. The few employees we encountered were friendly. Our cab driver suggested we find a safer part of town should we ever return. And, there is construction on the road so it’s loud all night. I couldn’t sleep but I think it was fear, not the construction.

Arrived back from cruise prior to check in time so we called at 9am to request early check in, was told that would be fine. Arrived at Days Inn at close to noon and was told rooms were being cleaned, waited in lobby for 2 hours with no updates or apologies at all. Was also told to meet at lobby next morning at 4:45a for 5am shuttle to airport, no shuttle arrived until 5:45a. I will never stay at this Days Inn location again, rooms were mediocre at best and customer service was non-existent.

I am going to say this, airport shuttle pick up was good I waited for about 30 minutes due to the time that I arrived (rush hour traffic).

Check-in was a little slow; however, the staff at the front desk very professional and friendly. I did have a problem with my room key; however, I went back to the front desk and was moved to another room due to a problem with the room lock.

Using the hotel as a stop over for my cruise vacation, I was not looking for a 5 star hotel stay and was not looking for a dive place. I can tell this is an older property and is in need of updates. Overall I was comfortable in my room.

I was able to secure travel to the port at the time I needed to be at the port thru the hotel. Prefect.

There is road construction that is going on and if you are on the front of the hotel, then it could keep you up; however, I did not have a problem sleeping.

The best thing to do with this place is demolish it and build a new one.

I was going to warn travelers about this place but others have done it for me.

We were there for a 10 day convention and had no idea how bad this place was. Every morning we had to have the keys reset, and we were there for a week! This was the first time I've not had a coatrack or closet to hang shirts. Ironing board but no iron, and I needed to press dress shirts. The water pressure was a joke, and the drain even worse I was literally standing in a tub full of water waiting for it to empty!

The free breakfast is a joke! Coffee, orange juice and an English muffin is not what I call breakfast.

But the worst thing was the construction. Granted the hotel can't do anything about that but when the water got turned off last Monday around noon and was to be off till 8:00 at night I'd had enough. As to management, they couldn't care less. Manager said "it's not our fault, blame the city!" I told him "when people can't shower, shave, or flush toilets it WILL be your problem." And as that was the last day of our convention other hotels were available and we got out of there. But think it was fast? no way! No printer at the front desk to do a final check-out, that was in the office. Took 35 min to get out of there!

All I wanted was a place to sleep and shower the next day and I didn't even get that, the construction work-light kept us from getting quality sleep.

This is one of those hotels that only stays in business because they have very little REPEAT customers to worry about. Basically, people stay here either because they have a flight or they are going on a cruise -- and just looked for a place nearby with shuttle availability. It survives not because it is a good hotel -- but because people simply don't know any better and therefore there is a constant stream of new people to book it.

When we arrived, the place was fully booked -- so they KNEW they had a lot of people coming in -- and yet there was only one person at the front desk to check people in. Therefore, with only a few people in front of us (and a big line behind us), it took FOREVER to get checked in. Again, it just feels like the owners are being as cheap as possible and, therefore, not bothering to pay for a 2nd front desk worker to check people in.

While we were checking in, several people came back in to report that their door keys were not working. At least one had already had their keys reprogrammed TWICE and this was their third attempt. Front desk radioed for the maintenance guy to go help them. About 25 minutes later, I happened to see this guy again in the hallway and asked how things went -- he told me that the maintenance guy hadn't even showed up yet and he had already been back to the front desk to ask AGAIN when he was coming!

The building itself is old and run down. Doors don't seal well. Our was actually crooked and had to be pulled hard just to get it to close. I wanted to buy a pop from a vending machine -- and went to all 3 that I could find and NONE of them worked. One stole my money -- the other two wouldn't take any. Finally had to walk to the gas station next door to get one.

The sad part is: this really COULD be a decent place if they just put a little money into it! The rooms themselves aren't that bad once you get in there. The lobby area looks decent -- including the breakfast area. If you didn't have to walk through the run-down building, stairs, elevator, and so on to get from the lobby to the room -- it would look like a pretty decent place!

Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be their plan -- so the place continues to look like and be run as a run-down "cheap" motel.

I wish i could give a negative star honestly. This place and the staff is a joke. My ac has been down for 2 nights in a row! Maintenance came to look at it and said “oh it’s alright it should come back on soon” then leaves. Doesn’t even inspect the unit. I go to the front desk to complain again that my ac isn’t working and the front desk lady says “sorry my manager just left and the night manager should be here soon to relieve me. I can’t make a room change without her”. Without even attempting to call her boss. So now I’m stuck in my room, another night with no ac in Florida’s heat. Thanks alot! I will NEVER EVER STAY AT ANOTHER DAYS IN! Ever!!!

Booked a room based on the website listing an airport shuttle. Turns out it starts at 5 am, which is not listed anywhere in their website, which would not arrive in time to make our early morning flight.

They said "first-come, first serve" on cribs/pack and plays for our daughter. They have ONE pack and play which they will give out, first come, first (and only), served.

Days Inn manager refused to refund the room price.

We booked a room at the Crown Plaza Hollywood for $10 more, same night, with a 24 hour shuttle.

Up at 3:30am writing this review. The room smells. We had to unplug the radio due to static even after being turned off. Got up this morning and couldn't get to the bathroom without having to kill roaches. Very surprised there aren't any bed bugs. Can't wait for 7:30am to get out of here. I won't be coming back.
Pros: close to the airport (10 min drive)

It was all right. Room was great. But only after the first room we had, the key didn't work. So they had to give us a new one. Breakfast could use more variety. Nice hotel staff, but sometimes, THEY REALLY DO NOT WANT TO INTERACT or have emotion because they have that "done with this" attitude. ):

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. I would never again. First room was dirty. We switched rooms. Second room was less dirty. Paint on the rug. (I hope and let's just say it was paint) nothing was plugged into outlets not even the phone to call down that the iron wasn't working properly. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

I was so disappointed with my stay here. The hotel was located off a busy street with nonstop construction. Our room was in the front, facing the noisy street. We asked multiple times to be moved to a room in the back because the noise from the traffic and construction was so loud that we couldn't sleep at night. The desk manager in the morning told us it wouldn't be a problem, to just come back to the desk in the afternoon to get the room change. When we would go back in the afternoon, the afternoon/evening manager would say that there were no rooms available and to wait till the next day. The second time we asked for a room change, the afternoon manager told me she didn't have any rooms at the moment but that she would call me in an hour. That was at 6pm. She called my room at 11pm asking if I still wanted the room changed. We went on like this for 3 days (asking for a room change, being told yes, and later being told no and to wait till tomorrow) until we gave up and suffered through the noisy, sleepless nights.

The room itself was okay, but in need of a good cleaning and better maintenance. The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken and didn't flush well. The whole bathroom was seemed in need of a thorough cleaning. At first glance it seemed okay, but the corners of the tub and bathroom counters were dirty. There was no privacy, as there was only a door for the toilet and shower, but no door separating the actual bathroom from the rest of the room. And the complimentary breakfast was a joke. They literally only had cereal, toast, an apple, an orange, and sometimes they had yogurt. When something would run out, it wouldn't be replenished for a while, if at all.

To call this place a hotel is a misrepresentation. It's a motel. It's in a bad neighborhood - run down, rough, lots of construction. I didn't feel totally safe there. I will never be staying here again.

This was the absolute worse motel experience I've ever encountered. I booked 4 rooms for the Memorial Day weekend threw Priceline. the rooms were awful the smelled horrible. There were roaches in our rooms and one of the room had bed bugs they switched out our rooms but the rooms they moved us to were just as bad. The sink had visible hair in the drain the carpets had paint droppings on it in one of the rooms the television did not work. We went to Fort Lauderdale for vacation but need a another vacation due to this hell hole roach motel. We could not sleep comfortably because we were too afraid of being attacked by bugs and rodents. The staff was not helpful at all. The motel claimed to be under renovation but it needs to be knocked down entirely I do not recommend anyone to book this motel. I feel I need to be completely refunded and a written apology for such a terrible experience. Also I did not want to rate it with the one star but for some reason it would not post this review if I did select at least one this establishment does not deserve any stars at all.

Do not come to this place. Not even for one night! Staff is nice however this place is not up to part. Originally had renovations for rooms yet we came late so they gave them away. Roaches and bed bugs in the rooms and bathroom. Not room but rooms! Several rooms. Tv did not work in our room. Save your time and money. No one should sleep in a place like that. Nice people who work there but this hotel NEEDS to be shut down.

I've traveled a lot and stayed at tons of hotels but this was by far THE WORST hotel I have ever seen. My friend and I slept in the truck. You walk in and instantly got a headache from the paint fumes. There were paint splatters all of the floor and on the hand towels in the bathroom. A huge stain on the bed sheets. Stains on the pillow. Dirty underwear in the floor. It was AWFUL! The manager wasn't there when we had to check out and when we called back later like we were toldhe didn't answer nor did he ever call us back. So we couldn't get our money back. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
