Rooms were clean and the few staff I talked with were pleasant
Clean, kept up Ramada. Bed was very comfortable. Pleasantly surprised with stay and the rates. Hotel pool bar has a great bar keep too.
Room was clean and stocked. Hotel is older and could use remodeling. TV didn't work and ac unit barely worked. Staff was very nice and helped all they could.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU STAY HERE!!!!!! This is what happened to my cousin . Lock all valuables if you stay here. In fact dont bring any in your room just lock them in your vehicleOn Saturday 9/23/17, I checked out of the Ramada Inn Fort Lauderdale, 3001 N. Federal Hwy. and forgot my HP laptop Pavilion notebook computer s/n # 5CD6373ZYK, plus my tablet in my black briefcase. I returned hours later once I realized I didn't have it. My brother was staying another night. So, I felt it would have been turned in. However, that didn't happen. Of course it had not been turned in and no one had any idea where it could be. A very dishonest staff. I spoke to the Asst. Mgr. Gene, Front Desk Staff, John who actually checked me in. I made a police report. Went back the next day to speak with the Director of Housekeeping,(Kyle Gregory) and was told by John he wasn't there, and he did not know when he would return. I left my number, never received a call. I asked to speak to the General Mgr. (Walter Johnson) who came out of his office, walked past me sitting in the lobby, did not say a word, got in one of their shuttle buses and left. I asked the front desk clerk (John) if that was the General Manager/CEO? He said yes!! And his behavior explained to me why my computer and tablet was not returned. He was outright rule!!! Don't leave anything of value in this hotel, it is privately owned by Ellis Marquis and they don't return their guest's property. At least not this Ramada Inn. I find that really sad. But I do believe in karma
Advertised as a 3 star hotel but has 2 star accommodations. The AC unit barely works to fight off the Florida heat and humidity. The employees are very nice and the room is small and the structure is old and in need of repair but the furnishings are nice.
This hotel and its staff is amazing in everyway. I can't thank everyone here enough. We came to this hotel due to hurricane Irma. We have small children and have no power at our house since Sept. 9th. I am so greatly and can't say enough amazing words. I would like to mention two people that really went above and behind in ways that we are very grateful for Shaun (our server) and Noni (front desk). Thank you all .
This was my first time staying here as a ramada. Previous visits were while it was a best western. I liked this stay. Ramada had updated the rooms & beds. They were very comfortable. My only complaint was the carpeting. It really holds the damp in very humid S Florida. Other than that it was a great overnight stay. I will stay again in my next visit.
This is a great hotel and great location nesr the beaches, walking distances to shopping and restaurants. I have stayed at this location for over 10 years and the rooms are always updated and remodeled. Great atmosphere for single travelers or families. The fact there is a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and Lipton Tea Bags is a huge plus.
I personally did not stay there we had family there. Their room was a bit small but it was ok because they spent little time there. However they did mention how good the customer service was. Anything they needed they were taken care of. They pool was perfect temperature the gazebo was the perfect sun hiding spot😂 We were there for the evening and the bartender was great. Made great drinks and very friendly.
The hotel is dated but very clean and well maintained. Great place to stay for a great price although it is a bit far away from the beaches. The room was very well kept, the beds were comfy (semi soft mattress), a/c worked nice and cold and the bathroom very clean. The pool area and bar area was very well maintained and inviting and we were sorry we did not have time to try hang out at the pool. Clientele were older couples and young couples with small kids. Quiet and felt safe. Only complaint was that they charge a resort fee of $15 a day even though they are pretty far from the water. They also do a $100 hold on your credit card for incidentals at the time of check in. This is not mentioned on the website when reserving a room. We did not wake early enough for breakfast but the breakfast room looked clean and inviting.
I had an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly. Not much to do around the area besides some shopping, movies and the beach but overall my experience was amazing. I went for a four day trip just to relax and I got just what I wanted.. didn't get to try the breakfast as I didn't wake up in time. I will stay here again.
Well this place was interesting. Staff was very friendly and they let us check in early which was so kind of them. Rooms were good, but kind of smelt. The worst part is that my friend & I came back from walking around and the cleaning lady never shut our door. So if someone looked close enough, they could have noticed the door was open and could have stolen all of our things. Fortunately that didn't happen, but it was very scary. The space is so tight for the morning breakfast that you cant even sit down and enjoy it because people are standing and waiting for others to move so they can sit down. That area needs to be bigger. Overall, if you are staying for one or two nights, this would be the place. I would not stay here more than that.
