I went to visit friends who were were on vacation and staying in this lovely hotel. The room was decorated simply, yet it was really nice. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent. We sat outside facing the oceanit was a beautiful view. Usually, I take living in Florida for granted. I hardly ever go to the beach. In fact, I usually do not even bother looking at the beaches. Great company and this classic hotel helped to restore my gratitude for living in paradise!!! Just for todayI am not taking any part of my life for grantedgreat weather in November, and more importantspecial lifelong friendships!

Fun little hotel with a private beachfront with umbrellas and lounge chairs. There is an attached restaurant with amazing Shrimp.
Well it was amazing before Irma hit. I don't know how it faired through the storm.

We are locals and usually go to the beach near the Sun Tower. We have eaten there before (LOVE the foodit's fantastic) but have never stayed the night in the hotel. We could not be happier with our stay. First of all, the rooms are incredible! It was a King/Suite and absolutely gorgeous. The view speaks for itself but the room was phenomenalloved the decor, the layout and especially having a big fridge!

The service was as good as it getsfrom checking in, to getting chairs at the beach, to eating at the restaurant, to checking out, etc. Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. Other hotels should take a page out their book when it comes to treating guests!

Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back very soon for our next "Staycation!"

I was dining at the Sunbar Grille. I did not stay at the hotel, however, I passed by their pool which was gorgeous and spoke to the front desk regarding parking whom was very nice. The restaurant was connected to the hotel which had a great view if the beach. Highly recommend.

parking attendant with the white hair and mustache was extremely rude. We got there around 12:30 to eat and had a good lunch. Waiter was great. Sat on deck for a hour or two eating. Then went right next door for a hour or so for a drink since all they served was beer. Got back to the car at 3:55 and was rudely greeted by the parking attendant telling me I've been parked there too long. Never did anyone ever mention to us that it was 2 hour parking max nor was there a sign. We spent 100$ or so at lunch and then deal with that crap? The employee approached the situation completely wrong.

Checked in late night when our flight landed. John at the front desk was very welcoming and personable. We even made our reservation last minute and he was able to provide exactly what we needed. We stayed in an oceanfront King room. It is very clean with an open feel. The bathroom is small but it's just what we need and very clean as well. The room has a fridge and microwave. We were able to buy groceries for lunch for the week and had plenty of room in the fridge. The balcony is small but comfortable and the view is unbeatable. Absolutely breath taking with the sunrise just outside the window. The beach area had chairs tables beach towels and umbrellas provided which are actually quite comfortable. They also supply kayaks and paddle boards for recreational use. We used the paddle board and had a blast. The heated pool set in a courtyard setting was so relaxing and the lounge chairs could be a perfect napping place.I will never stay anywhere else in fort lauderdale!
