A great Resort, one of the very few on the beach. Very clean. Excellent service. Rooms are large, very clean. Restaurant is excellent. Back deck overlooking ocean with many very comfortable rocking chairs.

Went for lunch. Amazing food and exquisite view! And really, really nice staff. I broke a glass and cut myself and they took such good care of me, having a doctor come look at it and make sure I was okay. Really appreciated their kindness.

Great boutique hotel right on the beach. We were a minority as a young family, as it better equipped for adults. We still loved the location, lazy river and restaurant. Nicely appointed rooms, but starting to look worn. Plan ahead for valet, as it takes some time to get your car. After all, it's a small hotel with limited staff.

Pelican Grand was more than we expected as we arrived at the resort. Upon entering the lobby we were blown away by the stunning ocean view. The staff greeted us with smiles and were attentive to our questions and needs. Our room was nicely decorated and we had a decent ocean view from the balcony. The bed brought comfort to two weary travelers and the linen was clean and smelled fresh. There were a couple of issues that we noted, but really aren't worth highlighting because they did not diminish our experience. I'm merely stating that 100% perfection is not required to make us happy. We would definitely stay there again

I've stayed at quite a few hotels, and this one by far had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I ordered breakfast the night before for delivery at 8am, and they were right on time. It was easily the tastiest breakfast I've ever eaten at a hotel in Florida, too! I'm a fan of this place. I was in town for business and was only there for one night - I would have loved to spend more time there. This would be a great vacation hotel. I hope to make it back someday!

I haven't stayed at the hotel but have been to their bar and restaurant. Perfect place for breakfast overlooking the ocean in the morning. The hotel is right on the beach. The bar is small but cozy and a good place to strike up a conversation. The bartender at the time was excellent.

A peaceful, beautiful resort. You will feel like you are on your own island. The staff are extremely accommodating and very pleasant. You won't want to leave!!

Stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort last weekend and had a fabulous time. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the ocean. The customer service is friendly and courteous. I would like to mention a few people who made my stay memorable. Sebastian Garcia, a bellman who decorated my daughter/in law's room for her birthday, Alexis,a morning server, Monica, room service, Francisco,Banquet and room service, and Rose from housekeeping. These employees were way beyond wonderful!Thank you everyone !!

This was one of the nicest hotels my husband and I have ever stayed at. The first hour we were there he already wanted to go back next year!! We had a luxurious suite that came with a living room and a balcony. Pricey but worth it. We avoided the wet bar and got our own supplies from a grocery store. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and also at our dining table inside and looking out at the ocean. We even liked being inside and just hearing it. The lazy river was lovely and relaxing, and the accommodations were outstanding all-around. The only complaint is the walls are thin and we were a few doors down from the elevator. Still, a lovely, lovely place. We hope to go there again in the not-too-distant future.

The views are awesome and the service is great. I do agree that the facilities are dated and maintenance and housekeeping need improvement. Overall, you pay for the great views and private beach. There is a resort and parking fee per day which does increase the overall price of your stay. As a four star hotel, the hotel should have more updated facilities and replace broken fixtures, old toilet seats, stained carpet, and improperly fitting items such as door latches and locks. At $200 to $300 dollars per night the guests deserve better. However, the service and food are excellent so my guest and I gave it a pass. Also, the hotel has a no smoking policy on its campus however, many people were violating this policy which I was very unhappy about. I stayed in the King Oceanfront Suite and the view was beyond beautiful. I hope management takes updating under consideration so that I can give it 5 stars.

Great resort with very nice amenities. Direct beach access with chairs, umbrellas included for no extra charge other than the resort fee. We loved the pool, and our kids loved the lazy river. Beautiful views from both the pool area and our room. Definitely worth having an ocean view room! Only reason it was not full five star was our tub did not drain properly, and we were ankle deep in water during our shower. Very comfy beds as well. We would definitely stay here again!

The Pelican is everything and more! Great location! Great amenities! Friendly staff! But the best part of my stay there was at the very upscale bar! There's an entire wall made completely of glass which allows views of the beautiful pool area and all of the attractive people enjoying it! But the shining star of a very well run resort has to be the bartender who I was lucky enough to experience twice!! You sound go just for her! Her name is Olivia and she's simply AWESOME! Friendly, helpful, attentive, hilarious, professional and can pour a PERFECT DRINK!! There's many options in South Florida. But there's only one for me! The Pelican Grand Resort!! Case closed!
