There was a high school basketball team staying at this hotel and by the sound of it they were having Wrestlemania in the room next to mine. The front desk was USELESS!! They said that they could not do anything because they were teenagers. They wouldn't move me to a different room until I called customer service and they refused to notify the coach. My recommendation is to stay at a different location because the front desk just doesn't care.

This place is absolutely gross Do not expect your rooms to look like the photos posted here.. the building is under repairs from hurricane irma that was 2 months ago and the place looks like hell. There is a smell of mold and humidity in the hallways and room. My door lock barely works and opens backwards and I complained to front desk but they had no other rooms available. The parking lots are barely lit and feel unsecure for my vehicle and myself at night. My room was averagely clean and smelled like a wet towel. The furniture is damaged and the bathroom mirror has what appears to be dark circles on it. There is one person who works at night and he has to handle everything and walk away from the front desk if someone calls for assistance. This is by far the worst La Quinta I've ever stayed in and I don't think I will ever return. I spent $120 on one night here and I wouldn't even have my mother stay here for free.. I feel like I was misled by the photos and stated quality of the facility and this certainly did not deserve $120 for one night. Renters beware of this place you have been warned The staff member was great I must say but the building is gross..

We arrived to find renovations and repairs being done in the lobby. The water damage was old enough that I would have expected it to be completed. The hotel had a very humid feel inside. I'm from Miami, and even I was surprised by the humidity. The humidity had me imagining mold, but I did not see any visible mold. The personnel were all very friendly. We arrived in our room to find makeup marks on the pillows. It was quickly resolved. However, it made me question whether anything in the room was truly clean. The room was big and the bathroom was fairly standard. The TV worked and was a nice size with several channels. The internet was very fast and we had no issues with it whatsoever. We had a room with a nice pool view. The pool was very clean. The entire outside area was maintained nicely. However the parking lot was not lit as well as I'd like. My wife said she wouldn't have felt safe alone there. The breakfast was complimentary and nicer than many others. There was a Belgian waffle machine that you can use yourself. I made waffles almost every day. There were hard boiled eggs that were almost always overdone. There were also muffins. Fruit was scarce, the mornings I went, there was either a banana or an apple out. There were also bagels and cream cheese which I did not try. Overall it was not bad. But the darkness of the parking lot, along with the makeup on the pillow left a sour taste in my mouth. We won't return. But it seems to be about average, compared to hotels in the area.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. The room stinks, the carpets are filthy, and housekeeping doesn't do their jobs (there's a dead frog in the bathroom that's been there so long it's glued to the floor). I would advise everyone to avoid this establishment.

Reservation Ridiculousness. Several weeks ago, we booked a non-smoking king room with a pull-out couch. Our car trip to get here took longer than expected, but the hotel had texted my wife earlier, requesting she give them a call. She confirmed the reservation verbally, who made no indication there was a problem. As we'd estimated and told La Quinta earlier, we pulled in at about 11:15pm. We were quite exhausted from our multi-hour car ride.

When my wife attempted to get us checked-in, they finally hit her with it. We had a reservation, but no room. The best they could do is 2 double beds in a SMOKING room. NOT exactly ideal for the relative traveling with us that has emphysema and COPD!

They offered us a card key to go check the room out. We got off the elevator and immediately noticed a row of windows with the wall portion below them in a state of disrepair. Damage from the hurricane I figured, but still pretty unsightly.

The room door swung open, and immediately the heaviness of the air stopped us in our tracks. No way. Not happening.

Thanks to Google, we were able to book a comfortable room at the Courtyard by Marriott up the street. Thank God they weren't fully booked.

Positively the worst experience we've ever had at a La Quinta, which are usually clean and serve a lovely breakfast. Sadly we have to rate this location as 1 Star.

They are remodeling after the huracaine. Gave me a non smoking room stink in cigarettes. And they told me they knew about it but they were full. Change next day. I don't think the price worth the stay. Service is good and the people is friendly.

LA Quinta was a solid 4 out of 5 experience. The room was standard size, 2 soft beds, a shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is also a small closet, and a good working ac. No fridge or microwave, but free ice and a decent continental breakfast.

A hotel that needs to be inspected by the Health Department. Staff is friendly but the rooms leave a lot of be desired. Rooms were not ready at check in so we were upgraded to the "executive suite" all I can say is nasty. The mattress looked like a crime scene. Unfortunately for us we were down for a convention which had all the hotels in town booked. Spent our vacation searching for a room. La Quinta corporate could care less. I have stayed with them across the country for work so I used them for a weekend vacation with my wife. I will never use them again

We paid more than the advertised $54.00 plus tax. I would not stay here if I were traveling alone. The night attendants were so hospitable. We would have stayed another night, but I started smelling smoke through the vents. The morning attendant offered another room and seemed put out about it. Instead of taking me to the room, she sent me to check it out alone. Once I got that attitude, I started to see the stains are the carpet, the fries on the elevator, the stained furniture, etc.

It was only for a couple of hours honestly, but the rooms were clean, beds were extremely confortable. Only two complaints I had were some of the hotel guests (of which the hotel has no control over) and the fact that I could not find the fan in the bathroom. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay again given the opportunity.

Its a very old and disgusting building. You have to worry about if you car is going to get broken into. Homeless guy harassing people in the front and the best part is they have a security guard there at night but it still doesn't feel safe. None of my keys worked for the back entrance and I checked out a day earlier to book somewhere else.

Super nice staff, great pool, great location. No problems over a 10 day stay. Great value for the price. Not as nice as the Sheraton Suites down the road, but much less expensive!

I wish their was a negative star option. I have stayed at La Quinta's across the country and have been impressed. This one, however, is disgusting. Our door has multiple dents from being kicked in and cannot be opened correctly. The floors have mildew on them and the air flow is highly unsatisfactory. Our room had a very bad stench from smokers and the elevator and halls smelled as if a drunk had thrown up all over. Very dissatisfied with our experience. The staff could not even relocate us.

Very Disappointing , It was not at all what i was expecting although the staff was very nice when I arrived, over the phone the were rude if they didn't know the answer to something they would hang up and not pick up for the number. (2) The pool closed way to early especially when there was beautiful weather and although they did let you sit pool side they had no lights on even though there were plenty around not one was on. (3) The room was by far the worst part of my whole experience the carpet threw out the hotel was horrendous it smelt terrible and the knob in the bathroom tub fell off twice , I had to ask one of the housekeepers for cleaning products for the bathroom she did stop her room to do a quick clean up in the bathroom and she was very nice . Over all this hotel is in need of some serious upgrades
