Hotel lobby was nice. Staff was great and friendly. Really liked how they opened the hotel to the homeless for a couple days, especially over Christmas. Very charitable of them. Location is nice. Rooms were clean and nice. Great for events and stuff, we saw a huge wedding reception, looked like fun.
Greeted warmly when we arrived and helped promptly. Was asked for a room floor and view preference. Great experience. Was provided free WiFi that we didn't have a chance to use, but nice perk for a fancy place. Beware, many drunk folk roaming around late when we got back.
Greatly enjoyed my first time visit at the downtown Omni. Large parking garage with plenty of parking. Very nice room with an ample bathroom and nice, hot shower. Great customer service from the front desk to housekeeping. A problem in the bathroom was fixed within minutes, and a someone knocked at my door within minutes of our request for an extra toothbrush. Best part: I got a great, same-day rate on Expedia!
I was in need of a spa day, or so my husband said to me. He had booked an appointment for the Renewal Package. It was worth every penny! Heather took care of my facial. My skin feels fresh and I left with a glow. Amy filled the rest of my time doing my manicure and pedicure. She was a joy and kept my spirits up. I loved the environment. Kudos ladies! The hotel is gorgeous. I will send others your way!
Was a wonderful experience. Was on the 23 for with a great view. Ordered room service two times. One time went great had the best pizza I've ever had before. Second time there was a small issue with them bring one to many breakfast but was a way fix. Over all my favorite hotel experience I've had to date.
I stayed at Omni hotel for the first time last week and it is a beautiful hotel. The people were friendly, the hotel was beautiful with very nice rooms and views as well as comfy beds. Though the actual service during this stay was poor. It took multiple calls to receive items that were requested for the room and after check out two items were left in the room and I called the hotel to locate those items and was able to tell the staff exactly where in the room the items were but they just kept stating "nothing was turned in from housekeeping". Lucky for me they were not expensive items, but very unpleased with these items somehow disappearing.
The employees at the hotel are good people, but for the money, if you know what real high class service is, this hotel does not provide it. I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, not to mention, I always reserve the best rooms, and this hotel does not provide that type of service. Beware, if you want to experience actual high class service I recommend paying the extra penny and staying at the Ritz Carlton Dallas or the Adolf Hotel, the Omni is just like any other hotel chain, I have stayed at Super 8 hotels with better service. As I said if you know and want real high class service, beware, stay somewhere with a worldwide reputation like the Ritz.
Amazing place! First time in Dallas and will definitely be coming back to stay here again! Service was amazing, rooms were super clean, beds were comfortable. My kids were given a goodie bag with coloring books and crayons and kept them occupied all night. They also enjoyed the TV in the bathroom mirror! If your visiting Dallas I highly recommend the Omni! It's worth it and You won't be disappointed!
We decided to take an spontaneous trip from Oklahoma City to Dallas and stay at what use to be one of my favorite places, Omni Hotel! I can't tell you how disappointed we were with this trip! Upon arrival it was a cluster and yes I understand hotels get busy, but this was a cluster that could have easily been avoided with proper management, the valet service acted as if we were putting them out! We booked for a king bed and go stuck with a two queen bed room, and we were a simple sorry but there is nothing we can do! After checking in we decided to go swim the pool was fool of little kids, not that there is anything wrong with that but the staff paid no attention to kids doing back flips off the ledge and the amount of people in the hot tub, was absurd!! We decided to order drinks and almost every drink we asked for they said they didn't have, and that they would have to go get more! "It's a bar" seriously??? Of all the other times I have stayed here it's been so nice but this time proved differently, very trashy and unkept!! Will not be returning!!! Which is sad!!
I will say the staff here was very polite from the valet to the front desk to the concierge. A little iffy on the coffee store lady but for the most part nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and they have the best gym Equipment I've seen in a hotel. The spa was very relaxing as well but was a bit pricey for a 50 minute massage. And their pool was well kept. I enjoyed the complimentary morning beverages which I would set to arrive to the room around my wake up time to ensure I didn't miss my alarm and that was prompt as well. The bridge to the convention center was very convenient for the rainy days.
Beautiful hotel. Great service. The rooms, restaurants, gift shop are awesome! Every little detail is attended tothe napkins, even the paper towels in the restrooms are awesome. Definitely the best hotel in Dallas i have ever stayed at. We will be regulars from here on out!
We had a fantastic stay at the Omni. We were greeted when we arrived. The man that helped bring our luggage upstairs was genial and showed interest in our stay. He helped us know how to use things in the room. My husband mentioned in the comments that we were coming to celebrate my birthday and there was a slice of cake waiting for us! So thoughtful. The whole hotel was beautiful. And efficient. There is a lot of attention to detail and effort in making a guest feel welcome and comfortable. Towels by the pool. Workout towels in the gym as well as cold water. The gym here was the best and most equipped gym at a hotel we have stayed at thus far. And there are lots of good restaurants close by as well as a restaurant of their own right downstairs. Our favorite part about the stay was the infinity pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful view and relaxing.
The valet was excellent and we'll trained (very busy morning but still got us out fast). Check in was easy and very accommodating. We asked which side our room was and requested anything with city view. Front reception had no problem checking and quickly found a room on that side. The room was very nice and clean. Bathroom is very nice with huge walk-in shower. The bed, personally, were uncomfortable. Too soft with no firmness. Check out was just as quick and easy. Very nice hotel stay.
Hotel was great, room was large as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and clean and the in room coffee was actually fantastic. The location is also great and the staff is very courteous. My only complaint is the size of the shower, my room was handicap accessible so it may be different for other rooms but the shower was almost exactly as wide as my shoulders and the shower curtain didn't curve outward so it constantly sticks to you. It seems small but when everything in the hotel is honestly so great it just really jumps out at you as a pretty glaring omission considering curved shower rods are extremely common these days, even in budget hotels. I would certainly recommend it to anyone however, I enjoyed my stay.
