The hotel is having some refurbishment done. I've stayed twice in the last month.
The new rooms are excellent, the old rooms are a bit tired but still clean and comfortable.

This is a pretty decent hotel with clean spacious rooms. It's located very close to the Toyota Music Factory and the shuttle will provide transportation there until 10 p.m.. Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations and there may be some extra noise and delays on the elevator.

Old rooms. Lots of space but bathroom soap dish was ripped off the wall and just laying on the tub ignored by housekeeping. Toilet kept refilling every so often. If your room is by the pool Sorry. Lights are like being abducted by a ufo (not that that has ever happened to me). They are renovating it so hopefully once that is done it will be great. Staff was wonderful and their cinnamon rolls are to die for.

We booked with Travelocity and the experience was not what we expected! I was in Farmers Branch for a conference; I stayed at this location because the site read “Family Friendly.” Upon arriving the young lady at the front was busy with another customer and the manager was busy on the phone and did not have anyone to help me with my bags. I saw the sign showing they were under a remodel but I did not expect to be in a room directly next to and below the work! I came back to the hotel between conferences to get some rest but was met with loud noise that first made me think a drill was coming through the wall! When my wife and kids showed up, which I made sure to put on the reservation; the same manager treated them with an uncomfortable look every time they went to the lobby. But despite all issues mentioned, my wife thought it would be nice for use to spend one more day at the hotel to enjoy the North Dallas Area. The manager said they were booked solid and did not have any rooms but when we were leaving we encountered a lady asking to extend her stay another day and was approved for not one but two days more. I can say I will not use this site to book my next trip and I will NEVER stay at Holiday Inn again, this was out first time using Holiday Inn and will be our LAST!

Currently undergoing a remodel. I stayed in one of the upgraded rooms. The did a great job on improving it. Nice accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at check in, housekeepers, bartenders, everyone was extremely nice and pleasant. All crew members spoke and greeted in a courteous manner at all times. Check in was smooth and only took about two minutes.
Our room was on the bottom "0" level from, which was newly renovated. While the ice maker didn't work, we didn't need it anyway. There was some painters tape still stuck to a few places, but that didn't have any effect of my comfort level.
The room was clean and smelled nice. The bed was super supportive and the large pillows were excellent.
Not a single noise was heard from any other guests.
No complaints about the bathroom facilities. Good water pressure and temperatures in the shower.
We didn't eat while there, but there was a breakfast available. The breakfast looked very fresh and the area was very well maintained and clean.
The bar is brand new and was not in full functioning order, but it is coming along nicely. We were given free drinks during happy hour with a ticket at check in. The bartenders were very conversational and awesome.
The parking lot was safe and secure. I had no issue leaving my vehicle there.
Check out was a breeze and everything was as expected.
I did forget my wallet in the room when I checked out and writhing two hours, a staff member called me to report it and will be sending it to me Monday.
I have zero complaints and only accolades for this property. It is not perfect and it still being renovated, but everyone is doing their best to provide great service. Keep up the great work and we will stay there again if in the area.response / report this review -

The staff here was very friendly and helpful and the location is great being so close to the convention center and Dart station. This is a newer/more modern Holiday Inn and would be a great option if meeting at the convention center.

My company had an event at the Irving Convention center and this hotel was perfect because it was so close. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Wish the orange juice wasn't watered down but I guess that is to be expected.

I stay at this hotel often the rooms are always clean and consistent staff is great. Love the evening happy hour with beer and snacks. Breakfast in the morning is convenient and a great way to start the day off. Easily accessible from the dart. If you need to go anywhere else the staff is always going to take you
