Small hotel but the service was SPECTACULAR. Location is good though a lot of traffic in the area because of construction everywhere. The food variety on The Bistro is not much but they have Starbucks Coffee which is always a great option. Some fast foods close enough.
Safe, Clean and welcoming front desk. Also helpful for Q&A.
A little difficult to find especially at night. If your in the area this is one of the better places to stay.
The price is fair. Small pets are welcome for a reasonable fee. Small pool in back and the wifi is just ok. Parking when they are at capacity can be a challenge. We found a spot on the other property directly across from the front entrance as I saw others doing the same.
Location is convenient, right by I-4 for access to downtown Orlando. Services are excellent with an on-site bistro and coffee bar. Rooms are also excellent, beds are soft and numerous pillows are provided.
The staff was nice, and the place is very clean. Also this Marriot has Starbucks coffee at the bar. Good choice for a place to stay while in Orlando.
Stayed there on the 7th of September with family. At 10 PM noticed there was no water in Faucets or toilets. Called the reception and were told it will be fixed soon. Got up at 6 Am the next morning to leave and still no water and no help. Left the hotel to go to a nearby restaurant and rest area to wash and change.
Did not advise the occupants when at 10 Pm the previous day the failure occurred - may be we had options?
Did not arrange for water bottles to be delivered to rooms so that we can at the minimum brush our teeth and wash our face?
Did not work with another hotel to see those leaving early can use a rest room there?
Pathetic experience.
Front desk with real poor customer service skills. Evacuating from Hurricane Irma.. traffic slowed us down and missed my arrivals by an hour. I understand there is a No Show policy in every hotel but the way they addressed me was very poor. Hire new GM and Front desk personnel.
The hotel is almost hidden and is really hard to find since it can't be seen off of any main roadway. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.
Loved the rooms. Beds clean and comfortable. Bistro was the normal fare, but staff exceptional. Staff very friendly and mindful of you. All work hard to remember your name and make it feel like you are the most important person. Will stay here again without a doubt if I am in the area.
Car park was a mess because they were doing repairs to a water line. Reception was clean and organised. My meeting was in the dining room which had a lot of toom and again was very comfortable
Great service and food, rooms are comfy
Not a positive experience. 1) Pool & Spa were not clean. 2) WiFi was slow and lost connection. 3) Found a bug in the bed. 4) Manager was nice - but - seemed in experienced to help. 5) Limited selection of TV channels in room - better selection in Bistro. 6) Room was clean except for bed bug :-(
Nice place, nice room, everything was perfect until the dream was over: Breakfast was included with our stay, but my wife got charged when she went to "the cafe" to get two coffees and a muffin. I didn't complain, I just let it slip, unprofessional but hey, it can happen! But the day after I left the hotel, I checked my credit card balance, and I got charged again, what? My stay was prepaid, booked on expedia, but didn't matter, I got charged a second time. After I called the hotel to have my second charge cancelled, I was told it was expedia's fault and would take up to 9 business days to reflect on my card. Please, own your mistakes, don't blame others! I have never seen anything like this in years and years of booking hotels. Please be aware, check your cards and be sure you don't get charged two or more times for your stay. I escalated what happened to corporate, still no words back.
My 85 year old Mother had a reservation at this hotel. Due to the construction, as mentioned in other reviews, she was not able to find her way to the hotel. From 8:30pm to 11:00pm (2 and a half hours!) she was lost trying to get there until a police officer helped her and escorted her to the closest hotel to where she was. In the confusion, it seems that her reservation was never cancelled. After I called the Marriot to explain the situation, management was totally unsympathetic and charged my Mother $171 for the no show!! I am totally outraged. Managment at this hotel cares NOT the least about the hotel guests. They care only about enforcing a "policy" with out any regard to fairness or circumstances. NOT a way to cultivate a loyal following. I am sure that the managers response to this review will be a perfunctory, sorry you were not happy. I will be happy to revise this review if I am contacted and and some accommodation is made.
