If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been traveling for 25 years for business. I investigate employees who steal. I stayed at this Ramada last night. Tonight I saw a charge for 15 dollars came through on my corporate American Express.
I called the front desk and was told I stole two towels.
The front desk can’t help me but I can call back in the morning and speak to a manager.
25 years of business travel and I have never been accused of such a thing. Ever. Absolutely humiliating. I have to explain to my corporate office that I don’t have a receipt for the two towels I was charged for stealing from that hotel. Beyond ridiculous. So angry. My character with my own company will be tarnished. I’m the damn investigator! Never ever again will I stay in a Ramada property. Furious!
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It's also in a convenient location for the airport, car rental agencies and not far from downtown Miami or my two favorite shopping malls. We spent five nights there and wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future. Plus many eateries within walking distance, even one adjacent to the hotel building. Would recommend to anyone, full stop
Very nice hotel ! Close to airport with shuttle every hour on the hour. The gentleman at check -in we're way cool ! Definitely return when in Miami area. Also a nice sports bar adjacent to hotel.
This hotel is very nice! Huge rooms, mine had 2 king size beds in it, granite counter tops, tiled shower floor, microwave, fridge, nice deep kitchen sink, electronic safe, it had the works. The staff are very nice and professional. I would definitely return.
Rooms are dirty and small, area is not that good. Could be better for the price they charge. Service was good tho and parking is great and free.
Was charged $69 per night after Irma while they had no electricity. Once electricity was on they changed rate to full price for the room. Had my baby crawling on floor (carpet) and everytime his shirt was black. Was better than our home that which the shutters were still up Serious mold issue. Breakfast was best! .
This place has been the best! ! Don't know remember there names ..but the two young men Ashley and Antonio have been EXCEPTIONAL! ! During the coming of the Strom. Very patient and courteous! !
Great place to stay if you are in transit or you are in need of a day job in the city before your next travel. Rooms are pretty decent with free breakfast. I didn't find much hotels in town with such deals. When you see the lobby it was difficult in understanding that they even have a pool. Yes but they do. If you prefer for fast food they are many around near or walkable distance from this hotel .I enjoyed staying here
This is the second Ramada that I've given a chance in the last two months and my reviews of both are very similar.
Ramada has a way of trying to polish the turd but when you lift the veil, it's all a facade. This particular location is like a dang labyrinth. The series of hallways and staircases that lead you all over the building are very confusing and HOT as well because Ramada only believes in air conditioning for the lobby and rooms. Even in Miami! We couldn't find any elevator and our room was on the second floor so we had to leave the luggage cart at the bottom of the stairs and make three trips back and forth for our things in a 90-degree hallway/stairwell.
The room was unimpressive and cramped. At least it had its own air conditioning unit that we could adjust. The room had very little amenities. There was a safe and a coffee maker but no mini fridge and no microwave. No closet space and the bathroom was super cramped.
There was no toilet tissue holder and the when you sit on the toilet, you are jammed in between the vanity on one side and the shower doors on the other. The flush handle is located in such a tight space that you could actually pinch your fingers trying to flush.
The room was clean for the most part. Much better than my other Ramada experience and this location has an airport shuttle which was very convenient as we had no vehicle. The staff seemed fairly nice but they didn't seem like they would jump up to help you if you needed.
We were only here for a few hours before catching our flight but the pool area looked very inviting and it stayed open quite late. I wish I had of had more time to enjoy it.
Overall, if you need an inexpensive place to crash and you don't care about the little extras, this Ramada will do. I'd call it more of a business traveler's hotel more than anything but if you're looking to vacation around Miami beach, keep looking.
Thanks for reading.
Cons: Got a non-smoking room, but it had a slight smell of smoke. Single bed room was smaller than it looked in the pictures. Drapes don't block out the light.
Pros: pool is well maintained. Bed was big, firm & comfortable. Big shower.
Room was nice and the sports bar built in was awesome. One of the best Philly cheese steaks I've had and great draft beer selections. Would definitely stay again.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I was a bit nervous as to how the hotel was going to be, but i was pleasantly surprised when i showed up! Our room was huge and very clean. Nice big walk in shower and the mini kitchen was nice. I felt right at home here. The pool was wonderful also. Had a very nice relaxing atmosphere with the spa like music. Staff was amazing. Their maintenance team was very eager to help with even basic questions. I would 100% stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel prior to going on a cruise. The room is a bit small, but we were just there to sleep, so it was fine. The restaurant in the hotel is very good. Good food , good service and friendly staff. The only complaint I have is that we stayed on the second floor, and there is no elevator, so I had to lug our suitcases up the stairs. If I could stay on the first floor I would definitely go back.
Decent hotel near to the Miami airport.
This hotel was totally decent for my one night stay. The airport shuttle leaves from the hotel every hour on the hour. If you wait for it at the airport, go outside of departures at your terminal and keep your eyes open. Because only one car is going every hour, you need to expect to wait quite a bit.
The room was clean, but even though the interior looks modern it is also quite used. The shower is good, but in the bathroom you don't really have a place to put your stuff. Be prepared to have some noise, as the wall are really thin and the airport is right over the street. A small breakfast is provided in the lobby, but seating is limited.
For a cheaper hotel near the airport this hotel is definitely worth its money.
