After staying at the worst best western ever the night before, this la Quinta was a breath of fresh air. Clean, big room, kind staff. Let us check in two hours early. Pet friendly with no additional fee. Breakfast was pretty decent as far as continental breakfasts go. Walkable to historic district and river walk. Highly recommend

Stayed overnight and the room was nice and clean. Very quiet when I stayed. I was able to get to the river walk fairly easily. Good location. I like that there was a bike path and bike rental place close by. Breakfast was alright for what it was. Would stay again.

It was a very nice welcome. The sitting area was neat and clean. Receptionist was very nice and understanding when we didn't have the company card with us and allowed us to contact our company for them straighten everything out. The rooms were roomy. The restroom, though, had black mold in the shower part. Just a few spots, but gross nonetheless. Also, the shower wasn't clean very well. Other than that, it was a nice overnight stay. The breakfast was nice and had a nice selection.

Really nice hotel. Newly renovated. Clean & comfortable. It's still got that 'corporate', 'chain', 'cookie-cutter' vibe; but, hey, at least it's a VERY nice 'cookie-cutter'! ;) Besides, some people love that vibe. The place is affordable, especially for the location. The staff's super friendly. The walk-in shower is enjoyable, but if we stay here again, my wife & I are definitely gonna get the jacuzzi tub room. Finally, you're just a brisk 15 min walk from the Riverwalk!

Great breakfast! Nice outdoor pool and hot tub, gym. They have a little convenience area inside in case you forget anything. We got a king bed with a sofa bed. They have nice duvets. Very very nice, newer hotel. It is about 10 minutes from the center of the River walk. About 15 minutes from Lackland AFB

Excellent choice! Nice newly remodeled property. Super welcoming staff! Breakfast area was clean and kept well stocked all the way till they shut the doors at the end of the posted breakfast hours .

I just stayed at this hotel located near Market Square on Cesar Chavez in San Antonio last weekend. I would give this hotel five stars if not for some small issues. The hotel is just finishing up construction and the parking was a bit of an issue both nights. You had to come in really early to find a spot. Also, the elevators were pretty slow, old and very hot. The renovations are fabulous. Our room was beautiful and very clean except for some dirt on the toilet seat cover and the AC unit. The staff was very friendly and accommodated my request for a high floor room and the view was fabulous at night. The breakfast was fantastic serving waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, cereal, bagels, etc. The location is wonderful and the price is terrific. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

I love the cleanliness of the hotel throughout, the staff as young as they were, were very friendly and professional and our room was great for my family. It came with a microwave and small fridge which travelers know can save money from buying fast food. The breakfast is delicious and warm, just be sure to be an early bird before the food is gone. I also love the fact that their is someone patrolling the hotel all hours of the night which made me and my wife feel a lot more comfortable parking where we couldn't see it from our windows. La Quinta has never failed to impress me and my next booking will definitely be with them again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay close to the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Great job La Quinta.

They allowed me go check in early on a Sunday morning! Friendly front desk staff; much better than typical breakfast in going area. This place is being renovated so parking is tight but the new rooms are very nice!

Wonderful stay so far. Room is much larger than anticipated. Restroom is giant. Tons of outlets on both sides of the bed. Included breakfast is also not too bad. Sausage links, eggs, cereal, waffles, muffins, coffee and juice. Only 4 stars currently because it's currently under construction and we have to enter on the opposite side from our current room.

It has been newly remodeled and they did a great job! The breakfast is among the best at any La Quinta I have been too. The hotel is within walking distance from The Alamo and the Riverwalk area. The HEB across the street has really good pizza too. I will stay again!

Our Family Vacation was a SUCCESS!!
Great location to downtown river walk, and the room was fantastic, the location of the hotel getting on and off I35 is simple, Pool was a blast and so was the hot tub, I really like the fact that in my room you could turn the thermostat to the AC down pretty low I like it to be super cold when I sleep and that made my night very enjoyable.
The staff at the front desk were very helpful and nice.
Was able to use the computer and printer at the business center to print out six flags and Sea World tickets.
My 2 downfalls were that the hot water pressure for our shower was not very good and the water never got very Hot 😕 the next down fall was the breakfast there where a lot of people trying to eat and they had a very difficult time keeping food stocked and there was always a line to make yourself a waffle may need to come up with a better ideal to serve the breakfast.
All in all the stay was great and very nice. Thank you for making our family vacation a successful one.response / report this review
