Clean room. Comfortable bed. Not enough electrical sockets and not in the right places. Carpet is very visibly worn around the door. It was actually tattered. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with knowledge of the neighborhood restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Highly recommend it! Room was clean, beds were so comfy & breakfast was great as well! Service was awesome! Movie theatre within walking distance & it’s so close to the mall. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town!

Great place with friendly, accommodating staff. Rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. Desk, chairs, iron & board, coffee maker, alarm clock&radio, clean linen/blankets, no bugs, 24 hour parking lot security , 24 hour access to swimming pool, microwave and dining area however only breakfast is provided there. Across street from Market Square and Hop on Hop off tour bus loading. 24 hour Mexican food and bakery directly across street. Pets also welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will return next year for another getaway. Thank you La Quinta!

Location was great. Walking distance to market square and didn't have to pay for parking. We did, however, have to change rooms because of roaches in the first room but our second room was roach free. We did, unfortunately, get ants in the morning that got into our zip locked bag of snacks Would've been much better without the bug problems.

Older facility but friendly, clean and comfy. They have night security guarding your vehicle but no refrigerator or microwave oven in room. Love San Antonio Texas and LaQuinta!

I enjoyed stay at the LA Quinta by the market square it was close to everything we wanted to do. The day we got ready to check out there was a lady who wasn't a guest but was feeling well and having problems you have to workers who went to her aide to help and I been a person who works in the medical field was grateful to see that there are people out there who care. I would come back and tell my friend about this place anytime . Thanks for eveything .

Not the worstbut obviously not the best. The restroom smelled like urineit was small cramped and stinky. My kids amd I wore socks the entire time because the room did not feel clean. The front desk was nice. The breakfast was standard issue nothing exciting. For one night it was manageablebut I think they need to use bleach in their restrooms :(

The location is great being right across the street from the Market square and restaurants. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions about the area. We showed up with a pet, they were very supportive of us having her (we chose not to have them clean during the day since she was not in a kennel) but there is not a lot of grass in the area and it would have been nice to be closer to an exit to take her out and walk (we were upstairs on the inside). The breakfast was great with 3 waffle makers, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc. The tables filled up but seemed to open quickly. The beds seemed very small but the rooms were clean and the extra table and chairs were really nice with a sink separate from the shower and toilet which was also very nice. We were able to walk or take public transportation to the Riverwalk (public was very reasonably priced to be able to get back and check on dog). We would stay again. Being able to park for free was a real perk!

I stayed in at the hotel yesterday and honestly i was disappointed. My sister works at a la quinta here in my town and its so nice so i was expecting the same thing but when we arrived it looked like a cheap old hotel! I reserved it online and paid $145 for one night so i expected it to atleast have a fridge and microwave especially since all the ragedy broke down $50cheap hotels in my town ALL have fridges and microwaves!! When i went to check in the front desk lady tells me that i cannot check in since im only 20 years old that had to be atleast 21?? Thank god my husband was with me and was able to check in although im the one who booked it online. What if i needed a hotel late at night with my 2 kids?they just gonna deny it to me cuz in 3 months short of 21?? The pool was the ONLY thing we enjoyed and made the hotel look decent. I would not recommend this hotel!! If you are going to be in s.a please save your money and do not go here!

Service was excellent, rooms were clean and the parking lot had more than enough room. The location is a plus since you can literally just walk across the street to visit some great restaurants. Will visit again.

The room was clean and comfortable enough. There were no outlets near the bed so it was annoying to charge my phone overnight and also use it as an alarm. Some of the light switches did nothing and the bathroom light flickered pretty badly at first. There was also paint chipping on the door and some baseboards that were looking very loose. Apparently they are getting renovated soon, so hopefully those issues are addressed. Our room, like most of them, faced the pool and you could hear every word of people hanging out there or in the hallway, although it was perfectly quiet overnight. The staff members were not thrilled to be working there, but they were professional enough to get the job done. They cleaned up breakfast 20 minutes before it was supposed to be over, so I missed it entirely when I was running late. The price is better here than most places near the convention center, but it's still a bit high considering the quality and location (you don't want to be walking around this area at night).
