The room was very nice. It was very modern but not too spacious. Breakfast looked good but it was $7 for children and $10 for adults so we didn't get anything. Everyone we met was very nice, and we got toothpaste from the lobby because we had forgotten it.

Nice rooms, recently updated. Great service. Good value. Only slight concern is that there were at least 4 different people in different rooms that found the bathtub area to be very slippery.

Average hotel with great view of river! This is your average, nice and clean, fairly basic hotel. It has a little Cafe restaurant, and Coffee Shop in lobby. The staff were all very nice and friendly. There is a beautiful expanse of grass out back with huge Pecan Trees, and it overlooks the river. There is an outdoor pool, which is not heated. The Jacuzzi, I believe is open year round, as it was uncovered, but pool was covered up. We strolled out back on the property and sat in some chairs overlooking the river. Someone had a wedding while we were there. It actually looked like a beautiful little spot for pictures. It's very green, even in late Fall. My only complaint is they don't have a free breakfast. They have coffee and water in a carafe in lobby every morning.

Have been here two nights out of six. Last night a bug ran across my face, woke me from a dead sleep. I squished it and flipped on the lights. Took it to the front counter. Staff seemed disgusted, but upon return to our room after being out all day our room didn't look like it had been properly torn apart to check for bugs. Our bed was just pulled up. The covers weren't even straight. Pretty nervous to go to bed. Yuk! Also, we had to dismantle the toilet because it just ran after flushing.
This is a Marriott! I expect more.

Very clean; beautiful property on river. Spacious rooms. Only grouse was that housekeeping did not replenish my in room coffee stash each day.

The hotel is situated at a nice location. The little beach at the back of the hotel was quaint play spot for my son. However, the room was not clean.there were long hairs on the bathroom floor when we check in. When I asked the housekeeping to come up and clean further, they never came. Also, the walls were pretty thin, you can hear kids running, laughing, late into the night. It might be because it was summer time, but we wish it was just a bit more clean and quiet.

Full disclosure: I work for Marriott at their call center.

Having said that, I've stayed at and visited hundreds of our hotels and this one stands out to me as one of the nicest Courtyards I've seen. They're right on the river and have a nice outside patio area that leads down to the water. Their lobby is up to date and the staff is very welcoming. We were there to visit with family who were staying there, so we didn't really get to see their rooms, but the rest of the property leads me to believe they're very nice, indeed.

The rooms are very clean. The grounds are so pretty. Even on a very hot day in July we were able to sit outside on a dock and enjoy the lake view. The staff was very helpful and so nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Location and scenery hit the bullseye. Beautiful area behind the hotel that features a winding section of the river. Big open yard with a few games, a deck and a fire pit. The pool was nice and clean. Where improvement was needed was guest service. We had to wait an hour after check in for our three rooms to be ready and the reservations were made months ago. There is complimentary drinks on Fridays and free breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. We were told it was on the weekends only when they were busiest and at full occupancy. Rooms are cheaper on the weekends too. We stayed Sunday through Thursday. The rationale seems strange to cut rates and give away food for days you're sure to fill rooms. Monday -Thursday is when you have to work to get guests in but this place does the opposite. It's mind boggling. The best they have on site is paying close to $5 for cereal.
Either way the surroundings out weigh the poor management. That says a lot about how nice the grounds are as the staff is low grade.
The last thing I will add is that I saw nobody over the age of 25 on the staff. I don't know if I ever saw the manager but it seems as though they have a staff of younger people inefficiently running this hotel. The executive chef has the title of "sir" and when I asked of he was a knight the girl at the front desk chuckled a bit and then said yes I'm still not sure. You know how kids are.
If things change, I will retract my review.

The location was beautiful, the grass was really well maintained and they had some outdoor games to play. It sits on it's own spot on the river and has a pool if you don't want to get in. You can't see anything other than the hotel and it's section of nature so it feels pretty secluded even though it isn't really.

I am a SPG traveler and we were extremely pleased with our stay here for a Memorial Day family vacation. We have stayed at numerous SPG resorts and this Courtyard felt like a resort stay. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, great housekeeping crew and amenities we were surprised by - evening movies by the pool, games for kids near river area, popcorn and lemonade. Thanks for delivering a great family experience.

Love this place but had bad experience this visit. We are here for my husband's birthday weekend so we didn't mind paying extra to be in this location. Returning from dinner tonight we were told by security that we would have to park in the grass out by the freeway. No big deal, but there was a section of parking (at least a dozen + empty spaces that was cordoned off for "bikers only"). Not normally something that would get on my nerves, but the "common" parking areas were filled with motorcycles and trailers as well. When we mentioned to the girl at the front desk that there were plenty of empty spaces and we had paid a premium rate to be here, she told us that "all the bikers hadn't returned yet and they paid the same as you". We were not informed when we booked the room that the bikers would have dibs on parking spaces, even if the parking spaces were empty. I guess we weren't the only ones that complained, because they opened the "biker" area that was virtually empty soon after. What gives?

Very nice facility that is close to the river. The area behind the facility is beautiful. The staff was friendly and there was ample parking. It is immediately after you get off the hwy so position yourself to be able to get all the way over or you'll have to go around to get another shot at it.
