Good location. No view. Bar is ok. No view in bar Unless it's summer. Price was way over priced 2 months out. Best to buy week before trip. Saves $200 parking is available with garage across street for discount.

Great location in Korea Town with a rooftop view of the Empire State Building. Service was great and the accomodations were adequate. Only drawback I can speak of is the breakfast. It's a personal opinion, but the addition of a hot option would be nice. I went out for breakfast each morning in spite of the continental option. I'd still stay here again/recommend without question.

Wife stayed here when she attended training at Keune. She said the hotel was great and would stay here again if in the area. Very near, within walking distance, of many tourist sites. Great restaurants all over so eating is not an issue.

Super convenient location in the small Korean district, directly behind Empire State building (same block). Subway access half block away. Manhattan mall 1 block away. Hotel is clean and well equipped. Breakfast buffet provides the basics for a simple cold breakfast though no hot foods. 15-20 min walk to Times square and start of Broadway theaters. 25 min walk to nice Union square Holiday market. Selection of basic to moderate restaurants in neighborhood.

Recommendable. If you are thinking to visit New York by location is a really good choice. There a Subway entrance close by as well as the Madison square garden. We were sleeping in their queen bedrooms and they had all the basics plus an iron and hairdryer. The breakfast is good enough, but I missed a bit more variety. It's a good place to stay overall.

I went to New York for a once-in-a-lifetime trip through the journalism program at my high school. We had to pay Apple Core, the owners of this La Quinta, in advance to get enough rooms for the 35 of us going, and our contract specifically stated we could get our money back in the event of 'an act of God' which barred us from getting to New York and/or the hotel.
That week, there was a huge blizzard in New York. All flights in and out were canceled. We couldn't make it to NY, and people who couldn't make it out booked our rooms. But Apple Core decided not to refund the money to us. Still, months later, they are fighting to keep the eleven thousand dollars they stole from a group of children. I wouldn't recommend staying at an Apple Core hotel to anyone, and I know that I will never do them the favor of my business ever again.response / report this review -

Clean, comfortable, and quite rooms. Breakfast was really busy and pretty generic, but fair for being included. All the amenities you need, not poorly priced, in the heart of Manhatten.

Was here for work. Great location in midtown. Subway less than a block away. Free breakfast and 24-hour free coffee was great for me with an all day ever nearby. Extremely comfortable bed. Room is small, but can't hear rooms next door or anything like that.

We were sent her after our first hotel overbooked and this was their sister property. But let me tell you, this hotel was fantastic and ended up being in a better location than our original hotel. It is located within Korea Town and it was great! We got a king sized bed with a nice sized bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The amenities were super nice as they have free breakfast in the morning including cereal, bagels and bread, hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit, and juice and coffee. It was a nice breakfast for it not featuring actual hot foods such as eggs and sausage. The best amenity was free same-day luggage check after checkout. Our ride wasn't leaving NYC until 10PM so we checked out at 10:30 AM and left our luggage until around 9PM. It has a separate secure room that is locked and the bags are tagged. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The best part of this hotel is the location, it is a bustling and busy part of Korea town but it is still clean and comfortable. It was nice seeing the busy shops, restaurants, and bars surrounding the hotel even at 3-4 AM. The only negative side is that our room did not have a view, our window faced another building (we were on the 7th floor), so we didn't keep the blinds open. However, you don't book a hotel room in NYC just to spend all day looking out the window - so this wasn't a big deal for us. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning to this hotel during our next NYC trip.

My stay here was pretty exceptional. Location is great (subway entries are very close) with plenty of amenities. Staff was friendly and very attentive. This hotel has a rooftop bar which is really nice after a long day in the city. Breakfast was also included in the room cost. Personally, I thought it was a good way to start the day after the provided breakfast. This location is also in the middle of Koreatown (believe this is the correct title), so plenty of eats and unique shops on the block. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff and clean rooms for a price that won't kill you is hard to find in Manhattan, and this place managed just that. The location is the best part; easy walking distance of just about any major subway line, and anything in midtown.
The bar on the roof is nifty, great view of the Empire State Building.response / report this review -

this location is close to everything by train or subway. 2 blocks from Penn station and tucked under the Empire State Building. most comfortable beds in New York. 1 subway stop from Times square and 2 block walk to Macys and Madison Square Garden. Very convenient location. Hotel includes free Breakfast. if you don't need the frills of a pretty view this hotel was very reasonable during a busy valentine's day weekend.

After searching high and low for a good deal on a hotel on a very expensive holiday weekend i came across this hotel. The price was way more affordable than some of these other hotels. We got to the hotel 3 hours early just to drop our bags off but the front desk was kind enough to check is in way earlier! Once we went to the room roughly 15 min later we received a courtesy call to assure everything was up to par! The room was spotless, the bathroom was clean, the bed was the most comfortable bed i have slept on in the city including the pillows! Everyone was friendly and helpful! i have stayed at an extreme number of NYC hotels and by far this one takes the cake! highly recommended.
