Wine Bar was a refreshing, homey space with more than enough elbow room for a good sized group and a great selection of wines and cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised.

Well appointed, renovated lobby. Clean and spacious rooms. Single elevator can cause delays in getting to and from rooms.

Amazing hotel in a great location within the city. The staff is superb, friendly, trained well to make you feel welcome. The rooms are well cleaned and inviting. Will definitely stay at again next time in New York City.

The wine bar, EST. 1986, is excellent and very fun. They have cool and cozy decor in an otherwise typical hotel space. It's well worth the visit if you're in the area.

Great location, a block away from the Empire State Building which is a stop for the Hop on, Hop Off tours so very convenient. Really clean room, really polite staff. Free breakfast was stale bagels, cereal, apples and weak coffee, but it's free sothe hotel is in the middle of renovating so the room was dated if that's something that turns you off, but the bathroom was really nice and re - done. Korea Town felt really safe for two young women travelers. Lots of great food nearby!

Stayed just before Christmas. It was under construction but that's why the rate was so good. Perfect to walk anywhere from it. Subway right down the street. Small, typical NYC hotel room. Service was fine. Breakfast perfect but a bit cramped if busy . We will stay here again.

Very delicious drinks. The bar atmosphere was very cool. A little hidden bar in the hotel. The whole place was clean. Bit pricy drinks, but great for friends or a date.

Great location. A bit tired and needs some TLC re fixtures & fittings. Had a King suite which had a good King bed and also a camp bed for a 9 year old.

Only went to the bar. It's gorgeous, tucked away on the second floor. Drinks were great, service excellent. They also have food. It was a very attractive space with no crowds. Kind of a place you don't really want people to discover because you like having your own secret getaway.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel and we even brought some friends with us this trip. They are excellent on cost and the hotel is in a fabulous location. They have had some refurbishment work done to the reception area and there is now a new breakfast area, both of which have benefited. Other work was still in progress but this was not an inconvenience. The staff (particularly the breakfast staff) are very helpful and friendly.

This review is for the wine bar 1986. Very classy and intimate setting with a generous happy hour that lasts until 8 pm. Really good spot to sit and relax in the middle of the bustle of Herald Square. The only downside was the too-polite service that asked me and my date to move multiple times for "customers" as if I were not one also. They could be a little warmer to match the rest of the atmosphere.

Got a huge room with two double beds, dispute not being all new, it was very clean.
The service was nice and so was the breakfast.
About the location, it's safe to walk around late in the night, about 10 minutes to the heart of Times Square.

    Easy access to the metro.

We had a fabulous time. The hotel room was spacious even for having a rollaway in it. The bathroom/shower/bath was luxurious and most importantly the staff we exceptionally delightful. Great time can't wait to come again!

The room was fine and the price was fair. Had a room with two double beds, it was clean and nice, but nothing spectacular. They are doing some construction in the lobby right now, but it had no impact on the experience. The location is great (right near MSG). The only complaint I would have is that the room was a little warm. The heat was on even though we had it turned all the way down, there was a small air conditioning unit in the window, but it didn't do much it probably gets a little frozen from overuse in the winter (I was there in December).
