Rat poop. Bed stains. Drug users and dealers. Hotel is closer to North Dallas Projects vs Uptown. In very bad part of town. Not safe. Not kid friendly. Hair in tub..Very nice front desk lady but very horrible house keeping and up keeping of hotel. Tub has rust in facet and inside of tub. Sheets not changed. Horrible hotel but yet wonderful customer service from front desk. They tried to fix the experience but switched us to a room that wasnt that much better and hot water didn't work.

Found 2 roaches and to other bugs around the bathroom. Other than that fine. Good central location. Next to highway, but not too noisy. Fairly quiet at night.

The room was spectacular. I loved it. The room was spotless, even the bathroom. I could've eaten off the floor. And with the hotel being in Uptown, right off 75, I had easy access to all the shopping I wanted to do. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Dallas.

Great location. Michelle is the greatest. Thanks for being attentive and courteous. Love that my dog is welcomed here. Rooms are nice and clean.

This review is going to be a little weird because the stars don't match the service received by Jessica! The stars explain the actual hotel. Although we had some problems with the hotel and it's cleanliness, Jessica handled the situation with such poise and understanding. We informed an employee about the matter the night before. (Sheets weren't changed, so they were dirty with hair all on them and our toilet wouldn't flush, our bathroom was generally ratty looking. I've stayed at less expensive hotels and they were way nicer).
We went to the front desk the next morning to address the problem and Jessica immediately knew our situation, provided a fantastic solution, all with a genuine smile on her face! She didn't make us feel like we were complaining or being absurd. Jessica made the entire experience pleasant and easy. Although the hotel isn't all that, JESSICA is top notch. She gets a 5 STAR! Thank you Jessica for being caring, considerate and empathetic. She needs a raise and a promotion! With her customer service, she is going to go FAR in life. The motel was fine but sketchy. Multiple people openly smoking Js both at the front and around the back. The layout of the building made it seem more like a ghetto apartment than a motel. These problems might be more from the fact that it's Dallas than anything La Quinta does wrong. Service was decent. Amenities were fine. If you can stomach the atmosphere, good cheap motel.

La Quinta Inn Dallas Uptown was a huge disappointment. The exterior seemed to be under a remodel which is fine but the service we experienced was terrible. Upon entering the room we noticed the sheets were dirty and one pillow was covered in hair. Before leaving to attend our event I notified the front desk and asked to have the bed remade. I was told they would take care of it. Upon returning from our event the room was completely untouched. I went back up front and talked to the same employee at the front desk about it. As I told him he and a female employee shared a glance like they knew about the room being dirty. As I told him again that the bed was unclean another man approached the female employee about his room being in the same condition. After receiving new linens to change the bed ourselves we ultimately decided not to stay. I went back to the front to cancel and spoke to the female employee and she said they were aware of what was going on and action would be taken. I hope that something is done about their service until then I would not recommend anyone to book this location.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel on 8/31/17. The room I checked into did not have fully functioning AC. Additionally, the smoke alarm kept beeping. After contacting the front desk, they provided me with a new battery for the smoke alarm which did not fix the issue. Ultimately, they decided to move me to another room. This wait took about 30 minutes while I was in a hurry to get to a dinner meeting. The new room did have functioning AC. However, the bed cover was stained. It took 3 attempts to replace the cover. The last one still had stains, but I just chose to use the other bed in the room. Lastly, the bathroom was dirty. Shower had mold and the base of the tub was filthy. The staff was friendly, but the hotel is just in bad shape.

Charlotte and the crew made us feel at home and answered any questions we had!!! Affordable.
Good location for us. Small pool, but decent breakfast even though there were no eggs, meat, etc. I will definitely stay here again if the rates were agreeable for the next stay.response / report this review -

I would personally advise against staying at this location. The door to our room was stuck initially, and after unlocking with the key we had to force it open. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bedding was stained. The bathroom was filthy, bathtub was discolored and the floor was sticky. The final straw, though, that caused us to walk out, was bumping the bedside clock and 4 roaches ran out from under it. We packed up and left. Under no circumstances would I stay at this motel. If I could possibly give it negative rating, I would.

If I could give this motel 0 stars, I would. The front desk guy was friendly enough and the location is great BUT the rooms are easily some of the most disgusting rooms I've ever seen. The bedding was stained and unclean, the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and there were ALOT of roaches. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and in doing so, I accidently nudged the clock and 4 baby roaches crawled out. Sure enough, when I moved the phone, there were roaches under there as well. I immediately left. Absolutely unacceptable!

Charlotte from Front Desk is the Sweetest and Most Professional at it's Best! She welcomed Me like Nobody else and i have been Traveled around the Globe! I have Never feel So comfortable and Just like if I was at Home! Every time I visit Dallas I stay Here ♡ Thanks to Everyone LQI😘
