Spacious room with lots of amenities. Loved the leopard print robe!! Staff efficient and courteous. Free morning coffee so-so especially given there is a Starbucks 2 doors away. Did not get to free wine happy hour maybe next time!

Good location, not far from DuPont Circle metro station. Hotel is pet friendly (did not have a pet with me, but there was water bowls available at the entry and on my floor, door hangers indicating there were pets in room, etc.). Room was generously sized, bathroom as well. I liked the full size toiletries in the shower. Bed was less fabulous, springs and lumpy, but the linens were very nice. I enjoyed the evening happy hours with wine and morning hot beverage options.

Had a great experience. Early check in permitted for my stay with a free room upgrade. Urbana Restaurant had great food and drinks. Staff in hotel very friendly and helpful. Clean and well stocked room. Room didn't have a fridge or microwave but hotel made up for that with other features and services.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

My friend came to visit and I spent a night at the hotel with him after we hit up the city. It is very modern and well decorated and designed. The hotel is extremely comfortable. The rooms were huge (not sure if he paid extra for that of what).

First impressions are key and it didn't feel like a 5-star experience when no one comes out to get your bag, especially when 3 people are standing there. Following this, the reception was extremely kind and helpful but once again we were left with the bags. The rooms were very large and the beds are extremely comfy, in the bathroom, there is the cost saving feature of large bottles that can't be taken; this isn't a huge deal but at the price small features count. Every evening there is a wine 'tasting' (it was more of free drinks rather than a tasting experience) which lasted an hour and was a great touch to the lobby. Having a 12-hour pool (8 am - 8 pm) was very good as the weather here is hot, to say the least, the 24-hour gym is excellent as it has everything you could possibly want.

Very bad everything. Poor customer service. Many problems when it comes to paying. Very simple breakfast. I would not recommend it at all. The only good thing is that the beds are comfortable. There was also a very nice South American woman in the restaurant. I do not remember his name

It was OK. Room was nice, clean and I had lots of pillows. Bathroom was nice, well lit. Front desk agents were polite and respectful. So it was OK. But just OK. I guess I expected more from a 4* hotel than I should've. I was a bit underwhelmed because it was not noticeably better than the Springfield Wyndham which costs about half of what I paid (at a discount) here.
Oh, and ladies, bring your own shampoo and conditioner. That which is provided is rough on the hair and takes out the moisture.

We stayed in a Premier City View Queen Queen room and the room was HUGE. They bathroom was also gorgeous. I love staying at any Kimpton because the service is the best. The fitness center had lots of equipment and overlooked the pool area and was stocked with fruit. There was always lemon water available in the reception area and the wine reception from 5 to 6 every night was a great place to relax and speak to other tourists. Housekeeping was quick to bring me whatever I needed. The suggestion that I made was that there should be a 4 hour limit on the loaner bikes because they were are gone by early morning and people would have them out until dusk. If you get the chance, take out the bikes because it's a great way to see Georgetown or the National Mall and there are many streets with bike lanes in the area. I have stayed at several Kimpton locations and I think that this one was great. A bit further away from the National mall but it is a nice area with nice buildings and reasonable priced pizza, Indian food, burgers, Pho, liquor store, pharmacy and Sunday farmer's market all within 2 blocks.

Customer service is great. We originally reserved a room with king size bed, but when we got there they gave us a room with 1 queen size. After a quick chat with the front dest, they upgraded us to a much larger room with 2 queen size since they do not have any room with kings left. The location is convenient as there are many restaurants next to the hotel or within a few minutes of walking distance. The only cons is that the room we ended up with had no vent in the bathroom, not sure if all rooms are like that.

Had an excellent time here. (Came for our anniversary) and the staff were amazing, treated us very well. Loved the room, splurge for the king hot tub suit--it's worth it. Great location in DuPont, we will definitely be back here again. Only caveat, our King bed did not have a fitted sheet--just the flat sheet on the bed.. I found this strange.

We just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Palomar and we couldn't have had a better experience. We are Disney Vacation Club members and booked through our exchange. We had such a wonderful time exploring DC from Dupont Circle; the hotel is right off of a Metro Station and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel was perfect for breakfast; large portions and friendly service. The room was spacious and fit the five of us very comfortably. I would say that the the staff was the best part - friendly, accommodating and good natured. Well done! We will be back!

Great attentions from the staff. Very close to historic and lots of restaurants. A few minutes walk to Dupont Circle, it was perfect location and they even lend bikes to go around, now that's service!

Breakfast in the restaurant was a big portion, I enjoyed it, specially the natural orange juice. They have wine hour at five pm in the lobby every day, don't miss it.

Would definitely stay if I come to DC another time.
