My family and I have been going to the Island Hotel before it was even called that, every Christmas for about two decades now. The location is perfect to do our last bits of Christmas shopping at fashion island, the spa is wonderful, and the views are fantastic. That said, our favorite part of staying at the Island Hotel is their breakfast. The service at their restaurant is impeccable, and the food is always fantastic, particularly at breakfast. Ask if you can sit in Carlos's section, he's the best, though all of them are wonderful.

*The review is for the meeting space/meals only*. The staff is very helpful, I’ve had a few meetings here and everything has worked out very well. The food has always been great, not your typical hotel meeting food. We’ve had everything from open bar, passed appetizers with carving stations to breakfast and lunch buffets. Great location next to Fashion Island.

I received excellent service from all hotel staff I came in contact with during my stay. Because the room I requested was not ready I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with wonderful ocean and pool views. The hotel grounds were well manicured and maintained.

The Island Hotel is so good to our family every year. The staff are all lovely. It's glam and cozy all at the same time. Can't wait to stay again.
I also have to note that when my three year old was throwing a tantrum, a nice young man named Andrew that works in the hotel dropped off a little dolphin for her in the hall which she ended up being very happy with. Thank you again!!response / report this review -

My husband and I had Sunday Brunch at the Oak Grill in Island Hotel. The outdoor patio was beautiful! It was extremely relaxing to sit out there and pair that with delicious food, it made for an awesome memory. Both of us had the chia seed breakfast bowl with a side of bacon and everything was delicious! Even my husband was impressed at the way the bacon was crispy yet thick. A wonderful bonus I enjoyed was that they can make cappuccinos and lattes with almond milk! Most restaurants only have soy milk as an alternative. I would definitely return!

Super nice hotel and superb service. The food is delicious and the bar is newly remodeled and nice. The property is really nice and the pool area is the best part. Nice big pool with plenty of cabanas and places to sit. Poolside service was really good and the hot tub was really cool, had a fountain in the middle of it.

It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice. No great views though as the best you can hope for is overlooking fashion island. The food is great. AQUA has an amazing happy hour.

Loved our stay at the hotel. Staff was wonderful and made our wedding stay feel lovely. Loved sitting in the jacuzzi which was isolated and the beautiful pool. Had the best night's sleep in weeks. Felt rested when I woke up. Breakfast room service arrived promptly. Best trip in a long time!

Great service and location! Fashion Island is a very short walk away, although -if you need food- the restaurant has great food. Our room is fantastic, great view of the ocean, and free WiFi is always a plus!

The hotel is nice. We went to oak grill restaurant inside the hotel and the patio environment is great. Food is beautiful and tasty. Service is non existent

Required valet, no self-parking. Room was decent, bed was comfy. DJ Sat night was on until 2 am, could feel the bass in our room on 4th floor, couldn't sleep.

The pool was what stands out to me. It was very clean and tidy. The scent in the area was very pleasant and "clean" smelling (for the lack of a better term). Had a great time.

All the staff were polite and approachable. The room was neat and clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The atmosphere was fun. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
