Love this La Quinta! This location has rooms in an old grain silo of some kind, so not your traditional hotel. There is a train that rolls by sometimes, but I have stayed there with no train activity too. Denny's restaurant next door and a fast food restaurant accoss the street. This location isn't newly renovated, but LOVE the cool concrete walls - your neighbors won't wake you up for sure! There is a pool too. No hot tub. Two things I love best is that they permit dogs, so my lost pet Search Dogs love it and there is a nice grassy area to walk the dogs.

Overall it was nice and quiet. I got to stay at the silo, with an “upgraded view to the train,” yea I was actually on the opposite side of the building so no train view for me. The loud obnoxious rumbling in the middle of the night was not fun. Breakfast is alright, it gets you by. Also, minus the neighbor in 429 with the barking dogs, the yelling and slamming of her door. Real classy and sweet of her to be obnoxiously loud last night, as if other people don’t need to sleep.

It was nice. We stayed in the yellow part of the hotel. The pool was fun. The rooms were nice and I liked it. We had a fun time. They gave us a room with a microwave and fridge. That was pretty nice. Also breakfast was amazing to have in the morning. The staff was really nice. The only problem we had was with our room keys because they kept not working. I guess if you like put them next to your phone they wipe so we kept having to get them redone. But everything else was amazing

The staff was amazingly kind and answered any questions I had. The rooms themselves were large and comfortable, and kept very clean by the staff. While the fitness center was small, it was clean and all of the machines were in good condition. The hotel is located next to a Denny's as well as a Jack in the Box, so late night meals were easy to come by.

My room had zero paint and cement for walls. The front desk told me that everyone loves it because it feels rustic and historic. Had I known I was going to be in a jail-like cell I would have booked another place. Also, I wished I was given a map to my room because I was told that my room was going to be in another building. Instead I was instructed that "It is on the side", which I took it as the room on the side of the same building I was in. It's not great circling the third floor twice while lugging heavy bags to learn that your room is actually in another building. I love how I booked this place two months in advance yet I was given a room that's not La Quinta standards. This place shouldn't be called La Quinta. If I were to stay here first I would have never thought about becoming a La Quinta member.

We stayed in the annex on the 4th floor. The entry on the annex was very cool and we much enjoyed the vintage photos and history. I also appreciated the repurposing of the old building now into a hotel. The bathroom was spacious and the a/c blew ice cubes all night long. The only down side was the concrete building made mine and my friends cell reception poor. All in all I would definitely consider staying here again.

The La Quinta Inn & Suites at the Irvine Spectrum center was a great experience. We were provided with a spacious room with all the necessary amenities provided for us. I appreciate the courteous staff and clean environment.

Cost is affordable. However, because of lower cost, you get what you pay for. The carpet in the room needs more than a vacuum, it needs steam cleaning. After getting out of shower and walking barefoot on carpet, your feet are black from dirty oily carpet. Make sure you put on sandals after getting out of shower. Also the room smells musty. The air conditioning units smell along with dirty carpets makes the whole room stink like musty mildew. The air conditioning evaporator and condenser coils need to be professionally cleaned.

I really should have done my due diligence and read the reviews before allowing my mother to purchase a stay for us here. They have managed to convert an old 40's era warehouse into extra motel space. When you first come in it almost has the feel of an old brewery. But as you go deeper inside, it then begins to feel like you are entering an underground government facility similar to the one in the movie "2010" starring John Cusack. I'm giving this place 2 stars. Here is the criteria for my assessment: Environment, Cleanliness, Customer Service, Security, Comfort. Environment fails because of the proximity to the train tracks and the recurring sound of the "auto-flushing" toilet. Cleanliness is a win. I didn't utilize any of the customer service other than to ask where our room was. We did not feel very secure because the doors appeared to be paper thin although the doors were average as compared to other motels. The beds were comfortable and I didn't have to bring a pillow from my home this time to feel comfortable which I think was a plus. Also, extra towels were already present in the room so that we didn't have to ask for extra towels which I thought was a very nice touch.

This hotel is built inside an old lima bean silo or something so all the rooms are hexagonal with bare concrete walls, but it's got kind of a certain retro chic aspect to it. My room has a wonderful close proximity view of the railroad tracks with a lovely construction site in the distance. To be fair i didn't come here for the views though so it's not a big deal to me. I like how this place is different, plus it's got a lot of history apparently; they have pamphlets if you care to learn more. Neato

The place was decent. It was what we expected for this type of hotel. There was nothing off putting about the place and the front desk was friendly. There is breakfast in the morning but we slept in so no idea on the quality. Overall not bad, wouldn't be bad to stay again.

I will always recommend this location to friends and family, since my first visit and to my last everything has been perfect. Every single employee here has been so kind and helpful. The rooms have always been so clean and they've cleaned them daily (unlike other near by hotels) , all the rooms I've stayed in have been so really spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Has great locations to eat at within walking distance and Great Park is near by too with a couple little attractions.

Beds were smaller than expected but still worked. Nice jacuzzi and pool. No problem with finding parking parking. And breakfast was delicious.

We got in late and left super early. Front desk guy was very accommodating, he even got out some food for us to eat before catching our flight at 4am. The room was very industrial, which gave it lots of personality. Oh, don't forget the train track right outside the window. You're going to want some earplugs if you want to sleep.
