The place was very lovely and clean. I attended there for two orchestras and both times the room was bright, clean, well set up, and there was water there for us. The bathrooms and lobby were also both very clean and nice.
The bartender in the evening is awesome. He took responsibility and knew when to cut a guy off. He was also very nice about it. The food, both breakfast and dinner are fantastic. The staff in general is great. The front desk is more than accommodating and hotel service crew will do what you ask. The pool is clean and while the gym is simply a hotel gym, it accommodated me very well, and i work out 5 days a week. Definitely would stay here again.
Given its brand name, they should offer much better service. The room was average, the bathroom was missing a shower panel. Had booked two double bed rooms but was instead given two single bed rooms. The front desk were not too helpful regarding this.
Nicely redesigned lobby. Rooms could use remodeling, although they are generally clean. Attentive service. Good catering food. Convenient location near Woodfield Mall.
Overall nice appearance. But had a bad experience. Called in to tell front desk we were checking in late an didn't get the room we asked for. So 1 of our guest slept on the floor. Room was so dusty everywhere. An poorly made beds with no fitted sheets. Very discerning. An no extra toilet paper. Not expecting this all for a Hyatt!.
Great hotel. Attentive staff, large and comfortable rooms. Excellent service at the in-house restaurants. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the currently ongoing renovation (Oct 2017) causing a few deviations in service.
Came for a conference, had a very nice stay. The lobby was huge and had an amazing feel to it. We had a double bed room, was very large and had a very nice bathroom. Very clean and close to some really nice shopping (plus Lego Land and IKEA). Will come again.
Nice hotel, lobby was inviting, good bar. My room happened to be one floor up and one window separating us from not 1, but 2 wedding receptions that blasted music long into the night, not ideal for sleeping. Rooms are on the smaller side as well, as they have double beds in them, not queen, something I didn't notice until I got there. Thermostat didn't work upon arrival and had to call maintenance which took about 1/2 hr to solve, again, not ideal when all I wanted to do was leave to go eat.
Service was great. Stayed one night. Stopped at the bar, liked that they had a few local brews. Service for our work meetings was wonderful. Food they served was excellent. Nice and close to Woodfield Mall for shopping or restaurants.
The lobby looked great! It was very spacious and modern with high ceilings. The staff seemed pretty friendly, the woman who checked us in directed us right to our room. Not sure if that's standard but other hotels we've stayed at didn't. The room itself was okay, the bathroom was very small. They only had enough towels for one person but we made do. The feel and decor of the entire hotel seemed a bit disconnected. The front had a grey color scheme, very updated. However the rooms and hallways were a green color, very 70s vibe. To be honest I was a little disappointed the feel of the front lobby didn't transfer to the rest of the hotel. The stay as a whole was good, it wasn't amazing.
Not impressive from the outside, but a recent remodel has gone a long way on the inside. Attended a catered event here and the staff was great and food was amazing! Kale salad, fresh fruit, corn on the cob, great chicken, awesome ribs, and the my favorite.Wait for it.Beef brisket. All with wonderful desserts..And this was lunch! Highly recommend this place.
Room was very nice and roomy. We had a double room and it was bigger than most rooms we have had. The couch was nice to have. Wish there was a microwave in room but there was one in lobby that we were able to use. Breakfast was really nice but didn't have room to sit in lobby so we took it back up to room. Pool was nice but was sad they had the hot tub shut down and may have heard they may shut it down permanently. Over all great experience for our family.
The hotel and grounds were under construction during my visit. This did not take away from my stay. I thought the room was very nice, clean and quiet. I had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel on my first night. Spent about $25 for just myself getting French onion soup, tacos and a coke. I asked for it to go as I wanted to have it in my room. The tacos were very unconventional, not exactly what I was expecting. Not great, not horrible. The soup on the other hand (if you want to call it soup) was disgusting. It had a layer of cheese on top with bread traditional for French onion. When you got under that it was nothing but onion. Almost no broth to speak of. I couldn't even eat it and went to bed still feeling hungry. My final take, stay for the clean quiet room. Go out to eat if your hungry. You'll be glad you did.
Great room. Great location. Great food. Great service. Comfy bed and pillows. Pool. Could use a refrigerator in room. Could use a better shower set up also the bathroom floor gets soaked. Will return again. Beautiful and big.
