Received a complementary upgrade. Comfortable room and very friendly staff. The air is really dry though. Other then that, it was nice.

Room was very comfortable and no issues. The room was great! Only issue I had was the second night my access card failed. Quick walk to the desk fixed it.

I've always enjoyed my stays here. Friendly staff and a good bar. Chris is a most excellent bartender. He makes it seem like you are among good friends. New pool looks completed as well.

This was dinner and drinks at the bar/restaurant. I had the ribeye with potatoes and broccoli. Can you believe they served a ribeye with gravy?! Never saw that before. Anyway, it's was a relatively thin cut steak, maybe 3/4", and pleasantly surprised that it was cooked the way I asked given that it was covered in gravy. Is that a Texas thing? Although I've ordered steak in other restaurants around Dallas and never had gravy before. Odd. Back to the story Thin steak, gravy, nicely cooked, but average piece of meat. Draft beer choices were a good variety. The final challenge was service was weak. Had to get up and get the waiter for my beer. And then the same to order food. And again for the check. A quiet Wednesday evening shouldn't be that slow. It was an average experience. 3 stars.

For former diamond/current globalist, this hotel offered exceptionally well service to us. They offered free drink upon arrival, and their breakfast is fabulous. For category 1, this may be the best Hyatt hotel around USA.

Great staff that is always helpful and polite. The rooms have always been clean, and the hotel well kept. The "Boots and Brix" restaurant attached to the hotel has great food that can also be ordered as room service. I've never had a bad experience here!

Rooms were a bit outdated and small. Called front desk for some extra shampoo, never came. Pool under construction. Location is alright though.

Hotel is about to be renovated, and it needs it. Pool is torn up (closed). Rooms are basic. Half of them face the highway and there's significant road noise. Staff is very nice. Decent bar in the lobby with a pool table. Location wasn't bad for work. Good value, but nothing amazing.

The room was clean and very nice, but was disappointed that there was no fridge.
The pool was being renovated while we were there so that was a big disappointment because that was part of the reason we chose this hotel.
But once we hit the bar we forgot about the pool because the food was on point. Buffalo wings and nacho appetizers were amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also ordered the southwest burger and the big tex burger. Both were also very good, big & juicy!
The drinks were also very good and strong like we like them! It was not busy while we were there so it was a nice and intimate place to hangout with my hubby :)

I attended a social event in one of the "salon" rooms at the Hyatt. The hotel was easy to find, located on a main road right near a major highway. Parking was sufficient, but I did have to walk a bit of a distance to get to the main lobby doors. Signage for which entrance to use and indoor signage regarding where events were occurring were minimal. I saw one small sign indicating the main lobby doors. There was an electronic sign in the main entrance showing which event was occurring where, but signs pointing you to those rooms' locations did not exist. Once I wandered in, I saw other guests in my party and knew where to go. Inside the salon room, there were lots of tables and a dance floor. My friends were able to set up their own decorations. The buffet was delicious and food was hot and refilled immediately. Staff were attentive and kind without interrupting conversation. All in all, this was a lovely experience, especially once I was inside where the event was taking place.

The staff is very friendly, and willing to meet my needs. The rooms are starting to look old, but they are going to renovate later this year. The salt water pool is awesome. I have enjoyed each time I've visited here.

Room was clean and comfortable upon arriving. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service is also a nice perk. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the hotel bar/restaurant has less than great service and very high prices. Luckily there are plenty of options outside of the hotel for dining/drinks.

My review is a mixed one. First, this is a nice, clean hotel. No complaints there. Staff was friendly. Of note however, many hotels do not use fitted sheets because it's harder to service a room. However when you use a sheet that is too small for the mattress, it ends up not being on the mattress by morning. I dealt with this every morning, waking up with my feet scratching on the mattress pad. The beds were rather firm, but the had a bit of a pillow top to them which made them comfortable enough. All in all, you did ok. Fix the sheets.

The room was decently sized and everything was clean. There were no usb outlets to charge things. The outdoor pool was really dirty and the water was slightly cloudy. The $15 breakfast buffet was a good deal and the food was pretty tasty. The staff was very nice and attentive. It was a pretty good deal for just an overnight stay to attend a wedding.

I suspect this was a great hotel when it opened, but that was probably 30 years ago. Definitely feels pretty dated. Rooms are decent but be aware that a light rail runs along the highway on one side of the hotel - the train makes a very weird and pretty loud noise when it comes by. Really uncomfortable pillows too. There is a nice shopping area with some restaurants that is walkable across the street.
