One of my worst hotel experiences of all time. I have never written a review before, but this was so miserable i feel i should warm people. We waited for an hour at the airport for a hotel shuttle that never came (in 40 degree weather with my nephew who is 15 months old). Had to eventually pay for a taxi, which the hotel wouldn’t reimburse. When we arrived we didn’t have the adjoining rooms we requested, and the crib we requested wasn’t there either. After changing rooms we finally got the crib, but the staff was very rude. There were metal bed frame part sticking out inches past the actual matters which we stubbed our legs on, very dangerous for my mom who just had a knee replacement. Hilton should burn this place down.
The room was a bit outdated and beat up. There was a dent in the wall where it appeared someone had punched it. I could hear everything from the room next to me. The staff was very friendly and the lobby area was nice.
Firstly, this isn't a BAD review. I just have a higher expectation of DoubleTree hotels I'm general. The lobby is not a terribly welcoming space and the rooms are just average. The service is good. The gym is very small and limited for a hotel of this size.
The rooms were not as nice as I was expecting. My sink was broken, condensation from the AC vent made a small puddle in the floor, and the lighting in the room was less than I prefer. However, the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating! The cookies were amazing! They even had a free beer and nacho sampling set up in the lobby during my stay. Overall it was a pretty great stay.
I had used Double Tree for their airport parking, while going to visit family for the weekend. Upon returning, I had called and said I was at terminal C. Stacy (I believe) was very pleasant and told me where to go and wait for the shuttle. After waiting for 30 minutes I called again and spoke to Alexis who insisted I was lying when she told me the driver had been through two times. I have used them before when traveling so I knew exactly where I needed to be. She had hung up on me after placing me on hold for 10 minutes and when I called back multiple times, there was no answer on their end. I am extremely disappointed in the service that was received and now will look elsewhere for airport parking.
This is not a Double Tree. At best 70's converted Holiday Inn. This is not the Double Tree brand we all love. The rooms are old and dated. Walls are hollow making the all day traffic horrible no matter the time of day. I can hear the water from 3 rooms down. Water goes from cold to scolding during shower.
Y'all made my day so much better! Thanks for helping me with all the crazy travel mishaps I had!💓
Room is awesome, and of course the cookies are the best!
Good location. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. WiFi was fast and reliable. Shower had radical temperature fluctuations. Difficult to maintain a comfortable temp.
Clean room, comfy bed, very accommodating (late arrival and late check out due to flight delays/missed connections.) Friendly staff, yummy breakfast, free coffee ☕️ in room, many free toiletries available upon request. $109 per night. My only complaint was that there wasn't food available when I arrived. I had missed dinner due to being stuck on an airplane and while the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 was delicious, a sandwich or bagel would have been better.
I am a long time customer of the Double Tree brand. It is unfortunate to write that my experience was sub par. My experience begins with a dinner at the bar that was poor. Then given a room (that was an upgrade - preferred room) that was smaller than typical. Breakfast was good with variety however our waitress was never to be found. And if she was, she was busy attending other guest. Also, the omelet stand was prepped but with no one stationed! After that, we request a late check out with the front desk. It was ok'd for 2pm. As my 15 month son was napping, house keeping attempted to entered the room twice.
The staff at the front desk get 5 stars. They are on point and doing what they need to. They were very customer service oriented, polite, and accomadating.
The rooms themselves drug me down a little. The air conditioner in my room was obnoxiously loud. If I were a lite sleeper, I would have been woken up multiple times in the night. When it cranks on, the main noise comes from the bathroom area and it is like having your A.C. unit outside your house, right beside you.
The hallways had glassware and napkins outside my neighbor's rooms for a day. But someone had placed a leaflet on our doors letting the guests know they are testing the fire alarmwhy not pick up the stuff as your handing them out or come back for them?
There is a gas station located right next to the hotel for easy access to snacks and other necessities. A Dennys restaraunt as well if you enjoy their food. Other than that, you have the in house amenities or you're driving somewhere.
Easy shuttle service to the hotel from DFW. Used the Hilton app to bypass the front desk. Clean room and everything working. Would not hesitate to return.
I enjoyed the stay and the guess services was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean with a great pool view. The rooms could use a bit of remodeling
Nice hotel with a helpful staff. The breakfast buffet wasn't free, but it was fresh and had a great spread. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. I enjoyed my time at this hotel and it won't be my last visit.
Stayed here for the first time and am happy I chose it. Received a great rate using trip advisor. Bed is comfy and nicely decorated. Breakfast is basic, but they have scrambled eggs and pancakes. The spa and workout facilities are great.
