AMAZING HOTEL! The hotel is a real delight , I just adore the contemporary decor that creates a mood to relax during your stay , however while we were staying one if the lifts wasnt working not a disaster but a minus to the hotel . Hotel Chandler is in a perfect location for a sightseeing trip with the empire state building round the corner and many amenities near by . The hotels restraunt is definitely worth a visit and the Michelin star is well deserved! Overall a GREAT hotel to support all your needs while on a trip to the brilliant BIG APPLE!

As an impromptu visit to NYC, I was searching hotels on our drive up from Jersey. This had the best rates and stars match, so I called and booked. No ridiculous security fee (50 bucks). They have valet parking, but we found a street spot. Our room was super cute. A nice bed, clean floors and bathroom. Super cute minibar. I read reviews that the rooms were small, but I didn't think so at all. Some reviews say its not luxury. Well if you are looking for a shower with a touch screen and marble floors, this is not it. It was clean and modern and super close to Times Square.

In addition, the front desk service was wonderful. Shout out to Angel! We will definitely be back.

Great location, comfy rooms that are good for two people. Nice 24hrs lemon 🍋 and hot water station in the lobby. Much better if a tea/coffee facility be provided in the room or even just the water boiler.

I chose it for the location.

Nice hotel; honest staff. My main point is that I left my wallet in the room when I checked out. I phoned about one half hour later. They found the wallet, with a few hundred dollars cash, some credit cards, etc., and returned it to me intact.

The rooms were on the small side but that was all I wanted. This is not a fancy or glitzy hotel but it's totally clean, well-run, and comfortable. I expect to stay there again.

So the place is nice and cozy and very close to empire state building"BIG YES". Absolutely you will love to stay here. 24 hours free coffee and lemon water in night hours is good service too. The only down point is the bathroom - washroom area is smaller than usual causes inconvenience for big guy like me. Othet than that everything is perfect.

My wife and I stayed at the Chandler in early Aug 2017. We arrived at the hotel about an hour before the advertised check in so after determining that our room would not be available we decided to wait in the lobby. Our first impression on the hotel was from the chairs and carpet in the lobby, near coffee area. The chairs were badly worn and both the chairs and rug were very dirty. This really gave us a poor first impression of the hotel. We wondered at that time what the room would be like considering the rating that the hotel had and comments we read from others.
We were actually pleasantly surprised with both the cleanliness and amenities in the room. The staff were both friendly and helpful.

In closing, I would like to suggest that the area of the lobby where the chairs are located be updated with chairs that are easier to keep clean and the rug be either deep cleaned more often or removed. The cleanliness of the lobby has a big impression on hotel guests and this area does not do justice to the other parts of the hotel.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Ashantay at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The doorman remembered my name when I returned from lunch and offered to get my luggage for me. Told him I had some work to do first and the library was a wonderful area for that. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Very good coffee. The only negative thing I encountered was that I couldn't get the lights to turn on around the bed but I'm sure that could have been solved by the staff if necessary.

I must say this was an excellent experience. Coming from a small town in Canada we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. A big shout out to Fabio, Michael and Adonis for making our stay at Hotel Chandler amazing. We were treated like royalty. We will definately be coming back here and making recommendations to our friends. The hotel was also in a great spot in the city. Everything we wanted and needed was all very close making the "New York minute" a reality.

Beautiful place to stay! Everyone is so welcoming, kind and helpful. Coming from Canada we used all the advice we could get, which made our trip absolutely amazing. The whole entire staff was super helpful during our full stay!! Would love to come back!

AC broken entire time. Had three instances of someone resetting it, but it never worked more than 5 minutes. Why am I playing for a hot room? Got to have this fixed in every room and bump up your system reliability.
Staff is very friendly however. Location is good. Near lots of transit and things to do and sightseeing. But ultimately the AC issue is a non starter for me.
    Go in the winter maybe?

Staff were very accommodating, courteous and professional.

The hotel itself is run down a bit. But most of all, it's very poorly insulated from the street noise. They do provide free earplugs though, which is nice.

Steps from the Empire State Building, Koreatown, I night stay again.

The AC was not working on a warm day. They said an engineer was trying to fix it. Some front desk staff seemed more helpful than others. The room and bathroom were exceptionally tinyToo small for two people and luggage.

We paid for a deluxe room with a queen size bed through Expedia. Room was spacious, but the bed could be more comfortable and the washroom cleaned better. Found some errant hairs in the tub. Otherwise, decent location close to Penn Station, Empire State Building and Madison Square Park.

Every single employee was so helpful. We stayed 3 nights there and saw many familiar faces. The 24 hour coffee provided is delicious and well-appreciated. At noon they put out water with lemons and oranges in it for the guests. We had our car parked in the garage, and it was brought to us when we were ready to leave. All we had to do was call them 45 minutes in advanced while we were still exploring the city, and when we arrived at the hotel our car was already at the door.
