We usually go to the Peninsula Beverly Hills for tea, but we decided to try something new, and I like the ambiance, food and service here a bit more. However, the tea selection at Pen seems a bit better.
Terrific for a relaxing getaway, yet close enough to nightlife, shopping, great dining, and tourist attractions if you are looking for those activities. Historic hotel, newly renovated and nestled in a canyon residential area of Beverly Hills. Great staff who makes you feel welcome, on site gym and pool, beautiful spa, and the rooms come with the latest technology and beautiful decor. Family and pet friendly, plus the food of Wolfgang Puck. The lounge has a cool celebrity vibe. Don't miss the Tina Turner wall or the swans in the "lake".
We stayed here for four days. Its part of the Dorchester hotels and as expected it was just wonderful staying here. Everything about our room (it was a large bungalow) and locations was fabulous. The kids also loved it, especially the pool.
Had an amazing birthday dinner with my wife. I have lived in La for 20 years had never been here before except for a wedding. When I came there for that I knew I had to bring her here for this. She loved it home run.
Well prepared and presented creations. Service is also well done. Table spacing is good. Strong ambience. Nice setting. Good food timing and plate removal. Overall awesome experience and I will return.

Love and need to go back! I just returned from an incredible weekend at this gorgeous hotel. I have stayed in some big names in the past that were a disappointment. Luckily my friend suggested this place and it was perfect! I am returning in the fall and will be booking here once again! Great staff great service great location just perfect!

Still the most refined oasis in any major city but Wolfgang needs to spend more time at his restaurant. Ate twice at the restaurant, dinner was very mediocre. Not up to par for a Puck restaurant and service slow..
Drinks in the bar at 7pm which was so dark and underwhelming, I couldn't read the menu. Service adequate but not good, no water was offered. TV was on at the bar which is crass. Paid my bill with cash and whilst waiting for valet parking ($12 a complete rip off) bar man came charging up saying we hadnt left enough money. I tersely told him I'd left $40 dollars in cash which the female bar woman had taken. The dollars left with the bill were the tip. We were furious, he was apologetic which was too late, he should have checked before making an accusation. Worst experience ever in 5 star hotel. Over rated, appalling service don't waste time or money visiting.

I am not sure if it is just because you expect the Hotel Bel-Air to be amazing and so it is, but, this was an amazing place to visit. It was a very cold night and the staff apologized and insisted I come back when it is warmer. The cold did not get in the way of the experience. As you enter and then cross the bridge it feels a little "Secret Garden" like. If I had a home in that canyon I would want it surrounded with the same beautiful foliage they have worked into the property. The staff is very professional and quick to help with anything I needed for the night. We hosted a group for a cocktail event and their food, wine and environment was perfect for mixing and mingling. It was cold outside where the couches were and though they had heat lamps it would have been good to have an indoor sitting option.
The renovated rooms are fabulous. High ceilings, beautiful furniture, good layout.
Our after hours were spent in the bar enjoying a subtle piano player and fireplace. It feels like a classic part of LA history.
My favorite hotel in the world. A luxurious step back in time. Beautiful and private, incredible food and service. Love the bar (as do celebrities). The valet gave us a ride to a restaurant! Romantic and all around perfect.
