Staff seemed eh. Pool wasn't open had to wait 20min for someone. Then pool was cold. Expected it to be more modern and welcoming. Room clean. Shower nice. Beds comfortable.

The room was clean and stylish with a large comfortable bed. We also had a small balcony and a TV with DirectTV and HBO. Bathroom had a nice shower, but no bath, with double shower heads, and it was also stocked with some extra hygiene items (feminine hygiene products, makeup removing wipes, etc.). The hotel itself has parking available for a fee, a cafe with grab and go items, and a bar that offers guests a complimentary wine or beer during happy hour. They also have in-room spa services available, which we did not purchase. Very close to Universal Studios and similar locations. We were happy with our stay.

The hotel is directly next to the freeway entrance. It's about a mile from the entrance to Universal studio. The are around the hotel is a little run down, we had several encounters with homeless people that werent very nice. The rooms are clean and large. Some of them have full hard wood floors while others had carpet. The bar is nice and there's a little coffee place that sells snacks too. The service was great they were friendly and helpful.

It was mostly a place to sleep, but the complimentary drink during happy hour was nice. Our room key didn't open the room to the pool. Our deadbolt didn't actually lock the door (wasn't quite lined up with the hole). The complimentary robe didn't quite fit (way small for my 6'1" frame). The towels weren't quite soft. The water pressure was not overwhelming. The DirectTV pretty much had some local channels and not the sports channels (had to go to bar to watch the AL playoffs).
It WAS conveniently located near Universal Studios, which was where we were going. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked.response / report this review -

This hotel is a bit pricey for what it is. Parking is really bad since they charge a bunch for it.
The rooms are big and comfortable, but they feel a little empty. Not much stuff around and the flooring is of bad quality. The beds are comfortable and the restrooms are clean.
The lobby though is very nice! It has a cafe where you can buy coffee, breakfast and snacks for relatively good prices. Seating is super comfortable and there's free wifi.
Overall I don't think I'll stay here again, but it's not a bad hotel if you can get it for a good price.response / report this review -

Best place to stay and relax in town. The level of professionalism is unmatched. The staff is the most amazing and helpful you'll ever find. The owners are simply the most welcoming and nicest you will meet. Only 6 years old so very modern and up to date. The rooms are amazing and very spacious . There is a presidential suite available that has the biggest bed you can imagine and can become completely dark regardless the time of day. It has a separate living room kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. I was told that a pool table and video arcade game is being added to the suite as well. Also , a great place to have a drink and watch sporting events and not to mention very interesting people to meet and mingle with in the entertainment industry. I definitely recommend this hotel in the heart of Studio City and Hollywood Hills.

Update: has cockroaches. Saw them in the room the last night and in the garage. Ruined the entire weekend. For the money I spent.. I won't be back.
Good location. Size of room is good. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is clean and fully stocked. Only problem is the bathroom door doesn't close smoothlyresponse / report this review -

Finding the BLVD is easy. Parking was a bit limited (double park and leave the key with the desk, but it wasn't crowded when the night I stayed so we didn't have to). The receptionists were nice and helpful with information about the area. Everything was pretty clean but the air was a bit muggy from the heat. AC is a little slow to kick in. There is a pool tucked away in the back of the parking lot but it was locked when we checked mid day. Overall not the fanciest place but it has a good price, it's clean, and in a very convenient location.

Loved the accommodations. The rooms were gorgeous. The staff were great. Everything was clean. We found the beds a little hard but thats all personal preference. There is a small snack shop and a bar in the lobby.

By far the best place I've ever stayed at. fantastic/ friendly staff, outstanding room (king suite), very clean, spacious, central air, and the bed was superb felt like I was at home. Amazing interior design with a awesome bar and clean pool, definitely staying again in the future.

If you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. The walls are very thin and don't seem to be insulated. It looks very nice and is clean. But I have been here on 2 separate occasions and I always heard the people leaving to work out in the hallways at 6 or 7 am. They weren't being especially loud but I heard them as clear as if my door was wide open, and there's a bit of an echo in the hallways. Also, I always heard my neighbors above me, that I requested to be moved to another room because I thought maybe my upstairs neighbor was just walking very heavily, but I heard it again.

This has great staff, its close to Universal city walk, and Universal Studios.Rooms are clean and big, the rooms has a microwave and a refrigerator.The TV has minor problems it would glitch and be stuck on one channel(Supposedly theirs like a delay on the remote so if you clicked it once wait, if you click it more than once it maybe glitch).Some showers have 2 modes, one is a shower handle(as i mean you can hold it), and one is a "Waterfall" shower were it the water squirts at you from above. Pool is good, it should be bigger, the pool is warm. The pool is also indoor, and located at the end of the parking lot, Cafe is nice and convenient. No free breakfast, You have to pay to park.

To start, there are two BLVD hotels within three miles of each other. One is BLVD Hotel and Spa, and the other IS BLVD Hotel and Suites. You'd think cab drivers would ask which one you want. Anyway, the Hotel and Spa is a fine hotel (not sure about the spa part). Rooms seem clean enough. Despite being on a seemingly busy street that also faces the freeway, it's pretty quiet. There's no typical restaurant in the lobby, but there are plenty of places around. Then again, that's kind of an issue. We stayed here for a couple of nights with the kids to visit Universal Studios. It's about a 10 minute walk to the free park shuttle, however, the area isn't the best. Lots of homeless people around, and the "tunnel" you have to walk through to the park is filthy. None of these are the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware of if you are planning to stay here and have your family walk around. Staff is very nice, helpful and quick to reply to requests.
