The staff was very friendly. Place was well cleaned. All amenities were great. The hotel is located at the most popular spot in LA. Madame Tussauds museum is just across the road. Overall the experience was great!

Beautiful historic hotel. I visited during the vulture festival and did not check in as an overnight guest. I recommend parking at Hollywood and Highland. Beautiful interior and pleasant poolside lounge. Worth a brief visit if you're in the area.

Was upgraded to a complimentary Cabana room. Kind of a small room but nice nonetheless. Service was good and areas like the lounge areas and event spaces looked great. The one knock I have is the lighting in the rooms and bathrooms is pretty bad. So it is a bit of a pain if you're trying to get ready for an event while you're there. Overall nice place.

It was my birthday when we checked in and they asked if we were celebrating anything. Told them so and they sent complimentary champagne and chocolates to our room! Such a great surprise.
We took the offered upgrade for the rooms above the pool. They warned it could get loud but on this Wednesday night it was very quiet. Location is great. Staff super friendly and helpful. Speakeasy and bowling Lanes way too expensive. Otherwise it was awesome.

Classy looking place (Hollywood Tower of Terror?) yet filled with the very colorful clientele you'll find right outside on the sidewalk. Great bar staff, very professional. Weird rules about where you can sit based on where you ordered your drink.

My favorite hotel in Hollywood! Just being there you feel like your part of old Hollywood. Having a drink at one of the bars or by the pool is always a great time. I prefer staying in the cabanas because the pool is lively night and day, but the tower is also a great place to be and relax. Great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere really all add to the experience and make staying here feel special!

Pool party was off the chain. Went for my bachelor party and it didn't disappoint. We booked a room on the pool level which provided easy access throughout the day. It's not cheap, but the crowd was super fun & friendly - the whole crew had a blast. The room itself was really luxurious especially the shower. Certainly a memorable experience.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Excellent service and clean, comfortable rooms. You almost feel like you've stepped back in time with the historic atmosphere, famous photos, and exceptional service. Including the upscale outdoor pool area including the mural on the bottom of the pool! You must try their adult Cherries Jubilee milkshake at 25 Degrees Burger joint in the hotel!! Step out the front entrance of the right onto Hollywood Blvd. They were filming a clip for NCIS LA when we arrived and got a behind the scene experience watching them film the scene!

The scene is nice and calm. The bartender was friendly and gave great advice . Since it was my first time there with a group of friends. The atmosphere is outgoing . It's a chill place to hangout and enjoy casual drinks with company.

We showed up to The Roosevelt to go to 25° for burgers. Everybody we encountered were extremely friendly from the valet, everybody in the restaurant, and front desk staff. The Valet staff that night Andrew made our night so much more enjoyable. He came by the restaurant and asked if he could pull my vehicle up as we will be leaving in the next 30 minutes. He happily did. I will definitely be returning and booking a room. Clean and amazing design, very peaceful.

I have stayed here 2 times and each time has been great every time, coming over from a 15 hour flight you want a clean, safe boutique room that is close to everything.

The staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and with the other guests, nothing was ever a hassle or any trouble.

It has the famous poolside lounges that the LA chic and Hollywood elite frequent, which gets busy very quickly, they also cater for parties and functions, as well as their room service is speedy and situated on the iconic Hollywood Blvd everything is in close range.

I would definitely recommend, does range about the $300+ per night but definitely worth the money.

Room Tip: Lower Level Rooms are the key

The first thing you'll notice is the gorgeous architecture of the building. It makes you feel like you're in the 40s or 50s. The spare room is a nice lounge /cocktail bar and the bartender was intensely into her drinks. Plus there is a bowling lane in the bar.

This historical Hotel is located across from the Chinese Theater. The lobby has fun funky swinging chairs and a comfortable meeting area. The pool service and food is 5 stars. It is so LA fun eclectic people. Only in LA will you find a 6 foot tall pool attendant in a short dress and high heels! Our room and bathroom was small and could use remodeling thus the 4 stars.
