We arrived exhausted and thought that since we prepaid and had already been charged for the dates we were staying at the hotel we were going to quickly register and given the key to our room but instead the Receptionist coldly told me that since the Rewards account was in my husbands name and I was not on the Rewards account and the reservation was made under my husbands name I would have to wait to discuss this with the manager who was on her break. While we waited they had a violent movie on the screen and my daughter was terrified watching it and started crying. In our rooms the toilet was loose as was the sink faucet. The refrigerator was not working very well and not cooling our food enough. The soda machine only accepted cash and the bottles of water were $3. The room service only comes before 2 pm. The shuttle to Disneyland took a very long time. A terrible experience!! I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn EVER AGAIN!!
This is a really nice hotel. It is located next to Disneyland. You could actually walk from the hotel to the park which could save you money in terms of parking. The rooms are nice and it has a good pool for the kids. They also sell tickets to the park. I would highly recommend this location and hotel
Fun little hotel for our Disneyland trip. The restaurant is a great deal when eating as a family because kids eat free. Kids had fun playing in the pool and the splash zone. Will stay here again when doing a Disney trip. Walk to Disney is about 20 min. Not too bad even with kiddos.
We have always had a great experience staying here for the last 5 years. The front desk staff is top notch always willing to help and very friendly. Try to book the themed rooms for a special addition to your visit. The hotel is walking distance from Downtown Disney making it super convenient. The rooms are starting to look dated but still very functional with plenty of power outlets, blackout curtains and wifi. The beds sleep well and the housekeeping staff is wonderful. The restaurant is perfect for a quick bite.
This is our third time staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites in a year. The family is pleased with the at home atmosphere and great staff. For us, it is a home away from home. The pluses are: friendly, knowledgeable staff throughout the property, rooms are clean and the Inn is quiet. No rowdy guests. The restaurant serves delicious meals and has great take out pizza. We even get packages delivered to the hotel and are waiting for us when we arrive. There is a small shop for snacks, souvenirs and necessities. It is a short walk to Disneyland. The only minus (why I didn't give 5 🌟) is it is a touch shabby and could use some freshening up. But it does feel like home.
The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney, which is where we caught the monorail into the park. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room wasn't large, but it provided plenty of room for 2 adults and one toddler. We didn't use any of the amenities, as we mostly used the hotel to sleep. The beds were quite comfortable. Note that there is a separate thermostat on the wall, and that the air conditioner cannot be controlled by using the unit's control panel.
Location, Location, location. An easy walk to Downtown Disney and the shortest security checkpoint lines. Staff was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that if breakfast isn't included in the room rate you select, it seems pretty pricey (We went with the buffet and while adequate, about the same as any free breakfast at most places that include some hot items). I would definitely stay again, just skipping breakfast next time.
Jonathon, the gentleman working at the front desk was absolutely amazing! He was kind, accommodating, informative and overall fantastic at his job! We were in town for a memorial service and he was the first positive experience we had! He is definitely an asset to this hotel and should be a manager! We were there for 5 nights, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was all great and it was centrally located. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be staying there again!!! Thank you for the great service, Jonathon!!!
This hotel is AWESOME. We unexpectedly left another hotel because of severe uncleanliness and needed a quick replacement and had a room at Holiday Inn within 2 minutes of walking through their door. They comped our parking fee because they sympathized with our terrible experience at our previous hotel and knew we had been through some unexpected drama. So nice. Their staff is phenomenal and customer service is TOP NOTCH. The rooms are great and the hotel is just super clean in general. Great place to stay and I will absolutely be going back on my next Disney trip.
Literally a 10 minute walk from Disneyland through Downtown Disney. Rooms are great and spacious plus a bar/restaurant is also in the hotel as well. Staff is friendly and nice. Lot's of parking there which is $12 a day for a permit Well worth it.
Room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds! Walking distance to Disneyland, we did not need to hire any additional transport to get there. Kids loved the pool, especially after a long day at the theme parks. There are no eating places nearby apart from restaurants at Downtown Disney, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant everyday and it was very nice!
If I were to stay near Disney I would pick this hotel. It's far enough from the strip to have very little tourist traffic but it's close enough to Disney (right next to the parking structure) to be a short walk there. I was at this hotel for a work event. The conference room we stayed in was very clean and the hotel staff was super friendly. I bought snacks at the store downstairs and was greeted warmly each time I stopped by.
We enjoy staying at this establishment for several reasons. The hotel is located a short, quiet clean walk to Disneyland, which is a nice change from hotels located on the other side of the park. The hotel offers a neat slash pad area my children love to play at and a pool with spa. The rooms are on the smaller side and a bit old but everything is neat and clean. The rates here are comparable to other closer sites but we prefer this hotel for it's quiet location and amenities. The staff was great as well.
Not too shabby and pretty close to Disney. Around 10 minute walk to downtown Disney. Upgraded our room to a themed suite for free which was a pleasant surprise. Had dinner here and food was slightly above average. Great pool play area for the kids. All in all a good experience - we would return.
