I stayed at this Holiday Inn for my son's wedding even though I live in Charlotte. This was the wedding venue, so the rehearsal was there as well as the wedding. Most of the out of town guests stayed there. I felt it made more sense for me to stay there so I would be on time for everything and not have to rush. Every employee I dealt with over my two day stay was wonderful. They answered every question I had, pointed me in the right direction when needed, got me back into my room when I locked my key card in my room and the event planning staff was extraordinary! The wedding and reception went off like clockwork. It was perfect. The food was great, the view was awesome and I would recommend it as a wedding venue for anyone. My room was very clean and comfortable and had a small refrigerator and a single cup Keurig coffee maker. The entire hotel was clean and exceptionally nice. I would happily stay here again.

Visited for just a night, for a retreat and enjoyed my stay. Flight was delayed, which changed my reservation, and they were very accommodating. Arrive at 5am and staff was upbeat, postive and helpful. When got to my room the bathroom shower was leaking and would not stop. Called down to the front and was moved to different room within minutes. Even had one of the staff members help me with my luggage and refused a tip. Conference rooms were smaller than alot of hotels around but very nice setup. Food and beverages were served buffer style, and were good. Staff continually checked on beverages, ice and snacks and would replenish if even 75% full. Room service food was actually very good and quick. Good experience overall for a quick work trip.

Amazing location within Uptown Charlotte. With the nearby Bank of America Center and several restaurants around the block, it is a great place to stay for those unfamiliar with Charlotte. The hotel itself has a roof top pool (it is only three feet deep but the view is WOW) and a restaurant with bar inside. Complementary breakfast is wonderful with many different options and friendly staff.

The staff at the hotel was courteous and professional. However my room had a lot to be desired. When I first enter my room the smell was a little unpleasing The bathroom toilets were clogged constantly. Parking was a little weird. You would need to get a ticket in the parking deck. Bring it back to the customer desk in the hotel. Have them stamp it to receive the hotel discount since the parking deck is not owned by Holiday Inn by another company. What I stay there again? I'm not sure.

Good customer service. Elevators and rooms smelled funky. Tub wouldn't drain. Comfortable bed.

A fairly basic hotel. Some rooms are being renovated but mine was not. Just don't love having to control temperature from a wall unit and have the fan blowing all night. Also the rooms in the hotel facing college st are noisy. Ask got a room on the other side of hotel if you want a quiet nights sleep!

Staff was amazing even on night shift. Rooms were clean and hotel felt secure. Had to do 100$ deposit wish they had just kept my card on file instead. Would have been nice to spend that extra 100$ at all the local restaurants and shops. Parking is kinda hidden and 18$ a day!!

Was a nice hotel overall. The bar area was very cool and like a mini sports bar. The rooms however, appeared to be a bit outdated. No sink in the bathroom area, only a toilet and shower. Everything else was in the hall next to the closet. Color scheme was a bit 1970's. Brown on brown o n brown. Heater and AC was wall mounted that could not be controlled by a wall thermostat. It was clean and the staff was very nice.
