Hotel was conveniently located Uptown. Did not have any problems with booking a room. Lobby is very nice and updated, lots of Lounge areas and a little office space to where you can get on the internet and check your email. Lobby staff we're very friendly and helpful and greeted me each time I entered and exited. I got a mid-level room which met all my expectations for the price. I would highly recommend if you're visiting Charlotte and plan to walk around or visit anything in the Uptown area. The View from my room was great!

The location was very convenient. I was attending a conference close by. It was only a 5 minute walk. It is also in the center of several great restaurants. The room was updated and very clean. The maid service was great! Our room was always clean when we returned. The beds were extremely comfortable. I had four down pillows and adown comforter. The bathroom looked and smelled clean. I thoroughly enjoyed our room. We ordered room service one night. It came quickly and the presentation was beautiful. Staff was very kind and polite.

Given the name and associated room costs, not thrilled. The staff, for one, do not explain the bit completed setup of the property as the front desk location from the garage parking to the actual rooms are not straightforward and require more detailed explanation then a sparse sign. My bed is very uncomfortable and the in house restaurant serves a good breakfast but that's it. Definitely head elsewhere for lunch or dinner is my recommendation. Good look finding the gyms entrance. Absolutely no signs. You can see the gym but making a wrong turn is a workout in itself. Sorry to be a Debbie downer but Hilton's reputation fails this particular location. 3 stars for the breakfast. 5 star for location but there are other stays more worthwhile then to settle here only because of location

For $479 a night it better be a 5 star stay.
Luckily, it is.
Yes, it pricey, but if you're going to a game, it's really tough to do better.
Cancellation policy is rather bogus however. Called 37 hours in advance, was told within 48 hours it's the full price of the room to cancel. Regardless of gold status.
I've stayed at much nicer places, with much more realistic cancellation policies.response / report this review -

Have stayed here before and been happy with the hotel. We are HiltonHonors members. Today I was floored when I arrived and was told that there was no room for my car in the valet or self park because of the NFL game that doesn’t start for another 5 hours. Way to take care of your own Hilton I’ll be staying elsewhere on my next stay in Charlotte.

Every hotel staff member that I encountered was extremely professional and courteous. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to lots and varied attractions.
Though initially aesthetically appealing to the eye, the hotel rooms are outdated.
The bathtub looks like a kiddie tub. There is an apparent problem with the tub draining in the room that I stayed, after showering the water took about 5 - 10 minutes to drain. There also appeared to be mold in the shower/tub and in a vent above the tub. I'm sensitive to mold/mildew and that is the smell that greeted me when getting off of the elevator.
Another disadvantage for me was the hotel not having its own exercise facility. The Y is made available to guests, but on Sundays, it closes at 6 p.m., whereas a hotel owned exercise room would be available to guest a bit past 6 p.m. I would think.
Attention to detail makes all the difference.response / report this review -

Great location! Walkable to restaurants and entertainment. Good room, good view Only bummer was that the alarm in the room went off at 6:00am We stayed a weekend night without the kids and planned on sleeping in. Who knew we needed to check that before going to sleep.

Beautiful rooms, nice amenities. Staff is very helpful. The Executive Lounge needs serious help. Saturday night - supposed to be open with bar service until 9 pm. The female bar and room attendant literally disappeared at 7 pm. Calls to the front desk were met with assurance that they would find her. After an hour, we left along with all of the other people that were in there. Rotten strawberries were in the fruit each day. Watery scrambled eggs for breakfast along with bacon so hard I thought I'd break a tooth Not exactly what one has come to expect from the Hilton name - nor what is expected when paying the room rates for the executive level

The hotel staff mistakenly checked us into a room that was already occupied. Fortunately, it was the middle of the day, and the guests were not in the room. We called down to the front desk, and they sent up a bell man within minutes, along with security. Security checked the room we initially walked into, while the bell man checked us into our new room down the hall. Security also checked our room. About 20 minutes later, someone knocked on our door, and handed us a paper Hilton bag. There was a handwritten note apologizing for the mixup, along with tons of snacks and goodies. This was such a simple, yet kind gesture, to let us know their oversight did not go without notice. Our entire stay from Friday night to Sunday was very pleasant. The cleaning staff was incredibly courteous, and every one we encountered had a pleasant disposition. I would definitely stay here again.

It was just your typical hotel. It was pretty nice but a lot of high schools had their prom at this location so there were a lot of high schoolers in the area. Otherwise the accommodations were fine and there was a really nice gift shop in the lobby.

Stayed on the 22nd floor and had an excellent​ experience. Room was clean, very comfortable, and the lounge down the hall was well stocked and had a great view. Hotel is conveniently located so you can walk to most places. Price is very competitive considering the location and quality. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in Uptown Charlotte.

Great location. Comfortable room and conference facilities. Good food and very friendly and helpful staff. The conference was about 110 people and the service was excellent. Water and coffee were keep fresh and the buffet service for lunch was excellent with a great selection of well prepared items. It was nice to see how efficiently food could be served!
