I always enjoy staying at The Renaissance. Its always comfortable and relaxing. Room service could be a little better but over all I still pick Renaissance as the number one stay place for me.

The location is within walking distance to many restaurants. The rooms are quite comfortable and have all the amenities to make a business trip more enjoyable. The staff has been very accommodating from the moment of arrival. My only criticism is that the walls seem to be a bit thin. I would definitely stay again given the opportunity to visit in the area again for business.

They stated they only have 2 suites I always stay in a suite no matter where I go.
The rooms not what I am used to. The celling was hanging in places no fan in the bathroom so when you shower it is hot. Can't stay there again. For the price not worth it. The staff was great that was the upside.response / report this review -

Stayed here during Charlotte Oktoberfest. It was an easy walk to Symphony Park and afterwards to South Park Mall for food, so the location was perfect. The rooms were great, no complaints. The bar staff was friendly. Gym and pool were also nice. Due to taking in refugees from Hurricane Ivan (thank you!), the concierge lounge was closed, so the hotel reasonably offered us either a free breakfast for 2 or extra points. We would have no qualms staying here again if needed as it perfectly suited our needs for a reasonable price.

This room is phenomenal. The beds/pillows are so comfortable. My room is close to the elevator and very spacious for 2. The bar and restaurant had good food/drinks. Would definitely stay here again. Did not check put the pool area but kids looked like they had fun.

This was the worst experience ever. Do not stay at this location!!!! Haley Marcus was the manager on duty. Very rude towards our entire party. I never play the race card but How she carried herself in front of several children 12 years and under was the worst. Explaining to my children of how someone could blatantly lie and get away with it, is acceptable in today's world. Especially, when it's a white woman towards a group of black people. This is a tough spill to swallow when your 8year old daughter say, "daddy we didn't do anything and does all white people lie on black people." Racism does exist!! Haley Marcus is a prime example.

The air in the room didn't work very well but thankfully, I packed a fan. The room also smelled musty and our sheets had holes. I would except this from a lower class hotel/motel but not this one. Outside of our room is extremely nice though. Just wish that would have flowed into our room.

Excellent experience, from valet service to check in to housekeeping to the dining area crew. Michael, Allan, Alec were so helpful. Every staff member smiled and greeted us.

Room was great. Bed was more than comfortable. Bar unfortunately closed at 12 but the staff was nice. Highly recommend.
