Much better experience than my first stay a year ago, when the wi-fi wasn't working and was told there was no manager on duty when I called for help. This stay was much better; everything worked, except the ice machine on 8. (But 10 had one working). Still renovating the front desk area. Wound up here accidentally, but will return. Will rate 4 stars once the front entrance is finally remodeled.
Staff very friendly and just around the corner from NoMa Metro. Great location. We have inner room that looks out to apartment square. You get too see all their wonderful Christmas decorations. Love out
Let me say this place was just slightly difficult to get to, only reason navigation struggled to drop me right off. Parking at this location is a pain unless you want to valet for $$, else you have to street park to unload your car. Park up the street at other parking garages for a short walk for 10/15 a night. Lobby is on the ground level but everything else is up. Lobby smelled horribly like sewage, worse in the evening. Rooms were nice and clean. The bar and outside rooftop area was very nice. Bartender was nice, credit card machine was broken, I had to leave the building to find an ATM. [ I am not sure why I post up so many reviews, Google does not give me anything for all these(no $ not even a discount anywhere)]
great location and amazing room set up. super clean. the staff was not too friendly but can't have everything.
Comfortable accommodations.
I get the chance to stay for about a week every year, and this place has never been a disappointment.
Centrally located. Attentive / helpful staff. More than adequate daily breakfast, and spacious rooms.
Thank you Hilton, I always enjoy my stay.
It was a very easy walk from the DC Metro the room was very clean comfortable and quiet. Check in was easy no lines and took less than 3 minutes.
Just Horrible.
Book a room at Hilton Garden in Washington D.C./U.S Capitol and was told at the time of booking I wouldn't be charged until after check in but instead was charged immediately. Long story short my trip was cancelled and once I tried to cancel the room was told it was not refundable something that was failed to be mention prior to booking. I contacted my booking agency to try and get an exception to the policy and the hotel took a long time to even reply to the request which the manager said no. I then attempted to contact the hotel myself and got no where.. I called and emailed and still no reply. Of all the times I have stayed at the Hilton I have never experienced such trouble or difficulty. They did not display good customer service and they made me not want to ever stay at a Hilton again. I am very disappointed the the service provided and will tell all of my military personnel to stay away from the Hilton because they don't understand things change and compromise is apart of life not steal people money because of a stupid policy. They didn't even offer to come to an agreement and gave at least half back but nothing was done or offered to provide customer satisfaction. I realize now it's not at all about the customers but how much they can make from them. Wish I could give zero stars in my opinions one is to many. I will not be using any more Hilton hotels for my travel needs.
The neighborhood is poor on the weekend. Street parking is free. I did get a ticket for not turning my wheels towards the curb, keep that in mind, 4 other cars had them as well. Breakfast is 17 a person, 10 for kids. The room was nice, the maid service was poor. There is a roof top deck however no views. There is ballet parking 45 a day. Elevator is secure, you need a room key to get to your floor. Uber to almost anywhere in the city was quick and under $10.
Price was good, location was okay, staff was friendly. Room was average although not cleaned well daily. The pool area was fun for kids. The only disappointment was the surprise $50 a day charge for parking on my credit card that I was not aware of. It is what it is but if I had know I could have parked in a lot for $15 a day. Bad business practice not to inform guests of this hidden charge.
After booking a two person room on 5 hours of notice for $100 we were ready for the worst. Imagine our surprise when we were greeted by a friendly proficient staff and received a spacious impeccably kept room with two queen beds. There's a parking service and plenty of restraunts in easy walking distance including an outdoor beer garden. A grocery store is located on the same block 100 feet away. An all around great stay.
The location was very nice and clean. If you're driving into town and don't need to check in immediately, skip the valet parking and park on the street, it'll save you a lot of money. The rooms were well kept and had good bedding. Overall service was great and the staff was friendly.
Service is okay at best. "Inconvienient" is how I would describe our visit. Only one elevator was functional, it took about 15 minutes to go up or down to the top floor. The bartender did not know how to make basic cocktails, and the staff had major language barriers. Otherwise the room was perfect.
The hotel was very upscale and was reflected in the rooms and service. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was good, although they do not have pancakes or waffles for those who want that. I would enjoy returning
The location was perfect for what we needed. The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 is because someone was vacuuming all morning and I kept hearing doors slamming. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good location. We are at Roti next door and it was awesome!
