Awesome hotel. To be honest it's one of the best hotels I have been to in the DC area. The staff was so warm and welcoming, everything from the complimentary cookies and warm cider to the powerful Bluetooth speakers in the bedroom made this stay my favorite in DC. You are also right across from the library of Congress so sightseeing is also a major plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the best hotel I have been to for the price, period. The gym was also spacious and had everything I needed to get a serious workout.

Lovely older hotel right on Capitol Hill. Updated rooms. A small kitchenette. Free wifi. A couple of blocks from the Capitol building, from the Supreme Court, from the Library of Congress. You'll need a cab for the Lincoln Memorial and other monuments, but it's a short ride. Or you can rent a bike right outside! It's a lovely hotel in a good spot.

Other hotels could learn some lessons from this place. Good from the top down. Great coffee at breakfast. La Colombe placard on the wall. Better than average soaps and shampoo in the shower. More than one person handling breakfast. Everyone is happy and serve to help you, but better than all of that is a sense of security and calm.

We stayed here for a night during a weekend get away for our first anniversary. The staff was absolutely amazing and very very friendly. They provided us with maps and recommendations on things to do in DC and the surrounding areas. They offer complimentary bikes to tour the city and the national mall. After cycling around the national mall we came back to our room and inside was a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate covered pretzels as a surprise along with a note congratulating us on our anniversary. We felt so welcomed and grateful the hotel was able to make our stay special. The room was immaculate and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. One thing I absolutely loved was the fact that I constantly saw the maid staff cleaning rooms constantly. This was a very clean hotel. If we are ever in DC again this is where we will be staying again!

Really nice boutique hotel. Room are a little small but for the price and location, really good value. The location is great. Next to the Capitol and 40m walk to museums. Really friendly staff. The free coffee is great 😁

Wonderful Hotel in a very special area. The staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were comfortable. Location was very convenient to most of the sites in DC!

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great amenities. The price was right, but you get a great hotel for the low price. My mother said she stayed at this hotel in the late 70s, but it has obviously been tastefully updated since then. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm almost afraid to give it 5 stars with fear of it becoming more popular, making it difficult for me and my family to return. But I'll give cheers where it's due. Great location, great staff, great breakfast. If you stay, you have to take advantage of the included bikes. It's just too easy to not wake up early and go for a ride. Just do it and create some everlasting memories. Thank you Capitol Hill Hotel.

Wonderful!! Staff are respectful, kind, & very helpful.
Amenities at the hotel are excellent, you are able to walk everywhere including a close Metro station entrance a few blocks away for those places you can't walk to. The atmosphere is calming, yes breakfast can get a little crowded (everything else about it is great) but usually guests were very polite an in-fact they invited my boyfriend, child, and I to sit with them. I will definitely be coming back! I was only in DC for 3 days but the Capital Hill Hotel made me truly feel like I was on vacation. 👍

Room is small, but very comfortable. The staff is exceptional, and we were able to Chace I'm early since we had an early flight. Breakfast is wonderful, and it's so close to the capitol you can't believe it!

The hotel was in a really nice part of town and we were able to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. Checking in was easy and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable; and the decor was very modern. We didnt eat the free breakfast but the food looked appealing. Check out was just as easy as checking in. One criticism would be that valet parking was expensive, but worth it for the convenience of location.

We were pleased with our room, with the service we had while guests, and the proximity to so many good eateries. They had complimentary bicycles and were in a quiet neighborhood. We also found them easy to drive to which was also a plus.
