Overall, nice place. Solid facilities. I wish the pool and gym were bigger but they are serviceable. Clean, quiet, and hospitable. Plus, breakfast is great.

Nice clean hotel. Very helpful and friendly front desk and dining room staff. Was very disappointed that cleaning staff completely ignore do not disturb signs and barged into room.

Stay here often for work. Nestled in the nice town of Evanston near Northwestern University. Great restaurants and Cafe's in the area. Friendly staff, decent rooms, decent restaurant, bar and amenities within the hotel. Haven't had any bad experiences yet.

Room was clean, service was friendly, and neighborhood was quaint. Pool was small, as was the exercise facilities. Continental breakfast cost $9, and the extended buffet was $13 food was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it for the cost. Good stay of your looking for something right outside Chicago.

Got a great price from Expedia. Clean, public parking right next door, can leave and come back for same daily charge. Nice large rooms. Good service, very quiet, blackout curtains, breakfast buffet for a charge. Nice location between business and residential.

we have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished. The hotel is next door to a parking garage, so we park the car and walk to local shops and ding as well as onto the Northwestern University campus. it is a great location.

We stayed at the hotel on a last minute idea when out weekend lodging plans were altered. The reservation process was very easy via my HH app and we found the room and service to be very good. The location was very good as it's next to some good shopping and tell breakfast in the morning was quite tastey.

There were great amenities and wonderful staff, although at times, there seemed not to be enough staff on duty. Little hard to get a good deal on an extra night.

One of the best hotels I have stayed so far! I stayed for nearly a month and it was a great experience. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet with good food choices and great waiters. Despite not having a lunch menu, there are plenty of restaurants around the areas (walking distance). The dinner menu is great, with a bar service. The bartender was really nice and friendly. Rooms were services everyday, i never had to complain about anything. There is a place to get refrigerated food and drinks, open 24/7. The receptionists are friendly and always willing to help out. I was new to the country so they assisted in giving advice on getting my way around Evanston. There is a small gym with the essential equipment, and a swimming pool. Parking is the building next door, the parking ticket will be validated by the receptionist. Overall i had a great experience with Hilton Garden Inn Evanston, and i wont hesitate to recommend it to anyone :) :)

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was nice and I had a great room but I had a problem with the hotel restaurant. I ate there the night I got in and the server seemed a bit scattered. He brought me my food and I took a bite before realizing it wasn't what I ordered. I finally called him over and told him the mistake and that I had already ate a bite. He said, "Oh no" and picked up the plate. I assumed he would take the plate to the kitchen but he just delivered it to the guest who actually ordered it, even though I had taken a bite. I was going to tell the guest the mistake but before I could get over to him, he had already dug into the entree and ate where I had cut a piece off. I sat back down and just let it go but was pretty appalled at the situation.I had only taken one bite of the meat but still think they dish should have been returned to the kitchen and a new one prepared. I believe there needs to be additional training with the employees about proper food handling and safety.
