Very nice upscale property.no idea it was a Hilton. Great restaurants within walking distance. Super sushi and beer spots within walking distance too. What you will really love about it is the layout. Really cool.
Stayed there for work. No complaints. Hotel looks very nice. I'd say some of the amenities could updating but a good experience overall
A very good friend of mine's son got married and not only had his reception there but provided a block of rooms for guests to stay in overnight. The amenities were wonderful and the staff exceptionally courteous and attentive. This is a "can't miss " hotel in the beautiful and historic suburb of Evanston.
Great service, used for business meetings. Very accommodating. Good to get a recap of the details as the staff could get detail lost in translation from the event manager there but banquet team and restaurant service very accommodating and attentive. Good AV attentiveness. Quick onsite response to any requests.
This is a truly wonderful and civilized hotel with incredibly friendly and understanding staff. The facilities are all very well-maintained and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
It's located in the heart of downtown Evanston so everything is within walking distance.
A shout out to the front desk supervisor, Michael B. He's as professional and wonderful as it gets!
This is a nice hotel in a great location, but the room we got was really really small. Like, it was comical that they even crammed a king size bed in there. I've stayed in tiny hotel rooms in NYC before, but this room was shaped on an angle, making it even tighter and more awkward to move around. The room had quality furnishings though and the staff was friendly.
I thought the hotel was supposed to be nice. But, in reality, it is mediocre. It isn't that clean. It hasn't been updated. Room service wasn't great. If you truly just want an "okay" place, this place is it.
I visited the hotel for a conference and found the staff to be attentive and helpful. The space was great for a conference. It was clean and kept cool which I appreciated. The hotel's catered meals were also well done.
The Hilton Orrington is a nice place with really nice rooms. Bed linens are soft and cozy but I thought the bathroom was really small with a huge walk in closet. If I could switch the closer and bathroom, it would have been perfect! Hotel is in close proximity to lots to do.
Hotel staff was very nice. Rooms looked nice but the one I had smelled funny. I think it ended up being from the air in the room being left on before we checked in. Also had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and that was also very good (and good service). If not for the smell, this would have be at least 4 stars.
It's a nice hotel. I stayed her on my visit weekend to Northwestern. They've got like two bars and a lot of lounging area to hang out in.
The Hilton is great. Half a block away from NU campus, and right in the thick of town, about 30-40 minutes outside Chicago. Our room wasn't ready but instead we were given an upgraded room upon arrival. If you use your phone in bed, bring an extension cord! There are only two outlets near the bed. Fitness center was great with a number of machines rather than just a dumbbell rack. Overall, very positive experience.
Hilton Bonnet Creek proved to be a wonderful resort option for Disney, Orlando. Fun bars and restaurants and an amazing lazy river. Family friendly but you definitely don't have to be a family to enjoy your stay. Great access to a high end golf course as well.
The Orrington Hilton was as expected: clean, nice rooms and every service you might want. The building is a historic hotel, which makes some rooms a little smaller than new construction but they're not cramped. I forgot collar stays and a helpful host at the front desk offered me his; I didn't take him up on it but appreciated the kind offer.
