It’s a ok hotel, although needs refurbishment. The main issue is the staff, particularly a few of them at reception are really unhelpful and sometimes even rude. I’ve asked how to get to world conference centre which is a landmark and the lady at reception had no clue and didn’t even try to find out! They also Block $50 per night on your credit card for “incidental”! I was there for 5 nights and my card was charged for $250! No clue why incidental needs to be charged per night? And why it’ll take 3-5 days to be released. Find somewhere better to stay!

Pros: Price, nice view of Georgia Tech, valet folks are nice.
Cons: poor upkeep makes the newish (built 2012?) place feel like an old motel: torn rugs, holes in towels, etc. They forgot to send off my dry cleaning which was a scramble to fix.
This is a good option for staying on the cheap. For business folks or visiting students, I'd recommend the Georgia Tech Hotel a couple blocks away.response / report this review -

Very friendly staff that took care of us. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect for our needs for the weekend. Parking is valet only. Didn't try the gym or pool.

I’m not sure how this hotel has 4.5 stars. If there were any other hotel with openings I would not have stayed here. Our first room smelled horribly of mildew, and the carpet was extremely worn, dirty, and sticky. I felt like we were in an economy motel rather than a mid-grade Hilton. They were finally able to switch us to another room- this one was a previously smoked in room, poorly covered up with air freshener. Carpet also looked worn and dirty. I think the good ratings must be from the amenities, as the valet parking under the hotel is set up well, and the exterior/hallways and public areas seem nice enough, but the rooms needs serious renovations and I will never book here again. If your first priority when you travel is a clean room that you are comfortable sleeping in, then don’t risk this hotel. I gave it two stars because the staff was nice and refunded our room.

Wasn't impressed with the room for the price, and it wasn't clean. Found an earring under the edge of bed so of course we went looking for more. There was an assortment of dust bunnies and little trash pieces under both beds.
The valet parking was nice but thought it should be included, not $30 extra.
Front desk service was nice, just not happy with overall experience.response / report this review -

Quiet room, staff were polite and professional, not crazy about the $30 a day valet but in midtown Atlanta there really is no other option. Convenient to restaurant and Georgia Tech.

We had a great experience with one of the rooms with a jacuzzi Very clean, comfy and cozy 😊 also the pillows are awesome and the shower was nice and hot. The service we received upon arrival was excellent. We received very good service the rest of our stay as well, although the breakfast staff was not very professional. Breakfast was delicious, especially the made-to-order omelet and French toast. The food on the buffet was not hot anymore, just warm, but we did show up only half an hour before the buffet closed.

Cheapest hotel/bed you can get without resorting to AirBnB or a shady motel. Even though it's cheap, it's very clean and very high-end. Free continental breakfast and great service. If you don't have 5000$ to spend on the Waldorf Astoria per night, stick with this. Great deal great value.

Everything was great except the king mattress. It was awful to sleep on. Could feel every movement my husband made throughout the night. Super bouncy. Both woke up with hips hurting. Otherwise it's beautiful and great. But a bad mattress is a deal breaker.

Very nice; great location to walk everywhere; helpful staff (especially Romney); nice, clean rooms and quiet. I want to especially acknowledge the breakfast coordinator/food service guy, Wallace. Our tour group swooped into the breakfast place all at once and he worked endlessly to help every single person who was demanding of him. He remained so friendly, upbeat, helpful and served us completely. He needs a raise!! Thank you Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Midtown Anchorage!

Warm greetings throughout the facility from every member of staff. No matter the time of day, a helpful front desk member was eager to assist me. Lobby is a neat place to grab a cup of water infused with fruits. It was nice to hang-out and gaze through the fire place to the other side. Great modern feel, the on-site restaurant will custom any food choice enthusiastically. Room was very cozy with a decent view.
