First off it’s a nice hotel and the room looked just like the picture and staff was friendly. Downfall the elevator was questionable and bathtub just didn’t feel or look as clean. Overall great place especially for the price completely affordable.

Only stayed one night but here are my observations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the tv worked and the mini fridge kept my beer cold. Security constantly patrolling the parking lot made me feel safe. Bonus: there was a hot tub in the room only steps from the bed. I didn't use it but it gave me a helluva good laugh.

Booking a choice hotel, you’d think they’re all on the same level-except this one. From the moment we arrived at night (hotel was unlit, parking was sparse and in a fenced in area, and the man working had a bullet proof vest on) the hotel was very unwelcoming. There was sticky stuff on the lobby floor and then the elevator had a sticky floor as well. (The one that wasn’t out of order that is) The room I booked was a king suite but instead I received 2 double beds and it wasn’t a suite. The room was dirty, the breakfast in the morning was nothing like other choice hotels (in a bad way) and then when I checked out (a day early because it was that bad I couldn’t bear to stay another night, the checkout desk never asked me how my stay was so none of this could’ve gotten brought up. Then, come to find out, they charged my card for 3 nights, when I only stayed one. Nonetheless I am beyond unhappy.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August.
The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was adequate.
There is bus stop just outside of the hotel for the short ride into Centre of Atlanta.
We had no problem with our room but other areas of the hotel could do with an upgrade.

We loved this hotel. We come to Atlanta every year, and we have stayed in different hotels each time. From now on it will be this one. Can't say enough good things about it. We always try to stay in a Comfort Inn whenever we go somewhere, but it's not always feasible. So we were delighted when we discovered this one so close to our yearly event in Atlanta. And it exceeded expectations! Already made reservations for next year's event. They even gave us our same room for next year! What great service! Shout out to all the employees who were hardworking and friendly, making us feel so welcome! Everyone from the manager to the housekeeping, from the front desk folks to the folks who served the breakfast, even the maintenance guy- everyone just was so friendly, and made us feel welcome! We loved them all! made us feel like family! Thank you for going above and beyond!

Well, there is a lot to be said about our visit here. First I will say that it was an adequate place to lay our heads down at night. Even so, we encountered several frustrating things. #1 there must have been a middle school reunion going on at the hotel, I love kids but they were everywhere with no supervision. When we entered our first room option, there were stains in the carpet, a big "scent bomb" sitting on the floor and the scent was so overwhelming that we had to ask for another room. The on shift night manager apologized and gave us a new key for another room. The first room had smokers, this is why the bomb was there. I am not sure why they didn't check the room before placing us there. It was very late and we just finished a 6 hr trip after working all day. Once we got to the new floor, it was filled with marijuana smoke! Basically cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke was a huge issue here. Even after staying in the 2nd room we had issues breathing through the night and had to purchase Breathe right strips from the convenience store. Little to say, some accommodation should have been made or at least reimbursed for the price of the $20 strips. I was not satisfied with how the customer service was handled, especially since we were told that we would be given a call back. It was around 6/25 it's now 8/17, no one ever called. Continental breakfast was packed with people each morning and was decent about average with added waffle makers. Overall the fact that we weren't compensated for our troubles was disappointing. "No Smoking" policies need to be more tightly regulated. When you're on vacation, you shouldn't have to worry about your health.

We just came home from a wonderful trip to Atlanta and stayed at this Comfort Inn for 6 nights. It is an older hotel but it is very clean and the staff was friendly and polite. My family and I felt safe and enjoyed our stay. We were basically 10 minutes maximum from anything that you wanted to see in downtown Atlanta. At night they did have a security guard that circled the parking lot. My 2 complaints are that the pool seemed cloudy, green and the eggs at breakfast needed a little help. Please consider this hotel for a clean and reasonably priced hotel.

The family and I had planned on this location because it was close to the zoo (our prime reason for visiting), it looked great online, and it had a clean pool. When we arrived, things were a little different. The biggest and most sore spot was the pool. Unfortunately, the chemical balance seemed off (it was a milky color), and one of the lights was pulled out of the wall and sitting on the edge of the pool. The room was clean, even if it did smell slightly like cigarette smoke. The service was excellent, and it was absolutely five star service. Everyone was up front, polite, and willing to help -- even when I requested that we cancel our reservation so that we could leave. I think that I would have been able to overlook some of the smaller things, if the pool had been in good enough shape to swim in.

    Very friendly staff

Breakfast tasted good but a small selection

Beds were soft. The rooms weren't really clean. There were a couple of small ants but that didn't bother me so much. Parking is easy and plenty of space.

I disn't get a good wifi service on the 6th floor but it was usable.

People said the elevator was shaky. I didn't think it was.

This was the worst Hotel. 1 they are renovating and I never once saw the cleaning crew. Continental breakfast, I prefer McDonald's over this so called breakfast. You had to ask for towels on a regular basis. The room keys barely worked and on top of that they quoted a certain price on the phone and check out time was horrible. The double charged us and then I get home to ck my credit card they charged more, Never again!

BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS!!!!!!!!! This hotel is BEYOND disgusting. It smells like smoke and dust as soon as you walk in. The elevator had spilled liquid in it that had been sitting all day. The bath tub had a dirt ring around it and the desk and console in the room were extremly dusty. On top of that the carpet is dirty. Oh wait, to top it all off, it's infested with BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!! This place needs to be shut down!! As soon as we checked in at 1 am we wanted to check out. We had been driving all day and were very disappointed. We originally booked to stay 3 nights, of curse you know that wasn't happeneing!! I had an event that i needed to be at the next morning at 10am. I was put in a horrible position because of the dirty hotel!!! We called the front desk and they said the manager would not be in until the next morning. We did not see the BED BUGS until the next morning!!! Had I had known this we would've have slept in the car!!!!! Because I travel a lot I usually travel with a sleeping bag. We could not even touch the sheets or spread. I was told I would not be charged at all and could leave immediately!! I was still charged!! The manager is RUDE and seems to have AMNESIA! They won't refund me all of my money. I will not stop until I get my money. I refuse to pay for filthy accommodations. If i could give it a negative 0 star, I would!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

First off LIKE how it was valentines day weekend and they were one of 10 hotels i called to have a great deal and book a hotel right away! The reason for 3 stars is because when we got their the price of the hotel changed. i called to booked for a hotel and ask them for military discount although my confirmation did say military discount me and my spouse were expecting another price. when we went to comfirm the price it was tollally different from the first and it was lower then the first which was a plus! So after that we get on elevator it WAS VERY SHAKING WHICH NEEDS TO BE FIX! Getting off elevator we walk in to the room the room was pretty decent the bed was comfortable and it looked nice going to the bath room, it was clean but the tub was not CLEAN !!!! Over all good hotel but some things needs to be fixed!!!!

So the place is comfort Inn now. Not Grant Park hotel. It's kinda in a shady neighborhood. They gave me a key card that didn't work. I got 4 replacements before they gave me a different room. Room was nice though. People are nice. I'm tired though and have little patience and that's why this is getting 3*.
