The hotel was comfortable. I would recommend staying on the side closet to the air traffic. I have stayed on both sides and the "no fly zone" is actually louder due to the hotel vans on this side. Every time the vans back up they are very loud and the noise travels right into the room. The gym is very nice and has a full weight room and steam room and sauna which was very nice. I also liked the different options for food within the hotel. It is right on airport property so you don't need to worry about missing your flight.
Just got robbed right inside the front door, at 12:30in the morning with more than one staff watching. It seems pretty common, the robber actually knows where the atm is inside the hotel, any make my friends give him $60 from the ATM. If you value your life don’t stay here!!!!
I had missed a connection the evening I stayed and the next flight wasn't until the next morning, so I opted to stay at the hitlon O'Hare so that I wasn't too far away. When I finally found how to get to the hotel (you go underground) I arrived to a long line of waiting people with no one at the first desk. Eventually someone came and was very apologetic and helpful. It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving so who knows, maybe they were under staffed for the night. In all, the only bad thing about this hotel is the poor signing and directions INSIDE the airport, which isn't really Hilton's fault. The long wait at the front desk was unfortunate, but not a very big deal. My room was spacious and clean, and that's all I wanted for the 10 hours I spent there.
$25 for early check-in. The most negligent breakfast wait staff in Chicago (and perhaps the world). We had to take our bill to the hostess because the waiters ignored us completely. Prices in the restaurants, gift/snack shop, and business center are a tragic comedy. This hotel is actively looking for ways to give you the finger. It resents you for staying there. It resents its own existence. Two stars for convenient location, a clean room, and the friendly housekeeping staff.
I was not impressed by this "4 star" Hilton. Prices are definetly way to high for the room menu. Valet parking is $75, if you park yourself its $40 a day. Pet friendly, but still need to pay a $50 pet fee per day.
Rooms were small and could be cleaner. The carpet and the bathroom sink could use a good cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel is great, if you are flying.
All in all its an average hotel, definitely not what you would expect from a Hilton or any 4 star hotel.
This hotel was very convenient, since we had a very late flight from Mexico City to Chicago. When we arrived to our room it was quite warm and we asked to be moved to a different room. The staff were very accommodating and even brought us a fan for our new room just in case we were still feeling warm. The hotel itself is not much to get excited over and our room was a bit dingey but overall clean. There is a fitness room and restaurant available for guests.
The Hilton Chicago Airport was very convenient, but staff seemed very disinterested in being helpful or kind. Our flight was cancelled due to the hurricane and when we were checking out of hotel, clerk quickly informed us that the cost for another night would be $480.though we did not even inquire about staying another night. One nice thing was the late checkout they allowed us which was very helpful. Room needed updating though it was pretty clean but sink stopper didn't work.Tiny room. Not usual Hilton quality.
Pretty standard airport hotel. Use the valet parking unless you want to schlep your bags across to the parking structure. Looks like the rooms haven't been updated in at least a decade. The air freshener is a bit strong and smells like budget cologne. The staff were nice, professional and courteous.
Had to stay one night due to a cancelled flight. The only negative was the extremely long check in. The speedy check out made it better. Rooms are small, at least they are if you go cheap like I did. The market on the first floor makes airport prices look like a clearance sale.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Not bad for last minute.
The airport Hilton is very convenient. It is an easily walkable distance from terminal B and there is an enclosed walkway when the weather is bad. Restaurant is a bit pricey for me. The bar prices are a tad better. You can tell it is an older building because of some of the doors or a few fixtures here and there. Otherwise it is clean and comfortable. The staff has been friendly and helpful.
I have never been treated with more disrespect by a hotel and I am quite an extensive traveler. I booked this hotel on business with the expectation it would be easy to get in/out for a meeting outside the airport and it was a major hassle.
The bellman manager, Eddy, yelled at me and blocked me right outside the hotel from entering a taxi. He claimed to have called me a taxi and said it would arrive in 5-7 minutes. After 10 minutes a cab pulled up to drop off another guest, I asked the cab if he could take me to Oakbrook and the manager came over, blocked the door and started yelling at me and the cab driver. Apparently there is some restrictions however being from out of town, I am not aware of this. Rather than politely advise me, he was screaming and blocking me from the cab. It was a complete scene and lack of professionalism. An alternate cab didn't arrive for another 20 minutes.
When I arrived back at the hotel at 9pm to check-in, there was a long line and it took nearly 30 minutes to get through.
I will never stay here again and the lack of professionalism showed by the staff really tarnishes the Hilton brand.
As a Hilton Diamond member, this hotel really made me consider trying another hotel brand. Never in my life has a front desk person treated me with disrespectful and haughty behavior. No welcome, no thank you, made me feel bad about the room I chose. I wish I had gotten her name. She had a light European accent but man was she awful. Moving on, the rooms were tiny. It was literally a bed, desk and a 2sq meter bathroom. The food in the restaurant was cold and expensive. They cooked my steak wrong and refused to make a new one even thought it was blatantly overcooked. For a grand total of almost $400, this place is a scam and I would highly suggest staying elsewhere if you can.
The meeting room was very nice, furnished well and comfortable. The food was also very tasty. This is the second Executive Committee meeting we've held in this location in 2017. We would highly recommend this space to other organizations looking for a convenient, quick and easy location to hold a meeting in Chicago. Also, the staff was amazing and made the event planning very easy.
Great location. Average Hilton. Although there is something "Jet Age" about it. Even if they don't capitalize on that feeling. Connected via indoor tunnels to the airport terminal, and via inter airport train to the international terminal. One of my top picks at O'Hare - especially if I arrive late. Smallish rooms unless you get a big upgrade. But great views of the terminal. And it has a very good hotel gym - probably the best of any airport area hotels. It's also available to passengers transiting the airport . I believe the fee is about $15. The only problem is that it closes early for business travelers - around 10pm. And after a late arrival one night, when the restaurants were closed I had a $50 bowl of spaghetti. That did include a diet Coke and it was tasty, but still..
