The location for the hotel in downtown LA is good and near the Metro station with various places which offer parking for the Car.
The service in the Hotel is average . They don't provide complimentary water in the room and you will have to order the water. As complimentary Tea packets, you will get only one tea packet and 4 coffee packets. Anything above that will be for an additional charge. In short you pay for ur room in reservation only and anything beyond will Come for an additional price.
The Hotel is Ok for a overnight stay, For stay beyond one night is not recommended

This was a nice, clean, charming hotel in the heart of downtown LA. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool area has great views of downtown and is a relaxing place to spend some time just relaxing. Like most downtown hotels, the valet parking is expensive. There is a garage next door, but the cost is not all that much less than the valet. Make sure that you factor in the cost of parking when you are considering this hotel. If I had to stay in downtown LA again, I would definitely put this place on my shortlist of considerations.

Location is perfect for business, food, and entertainment. Rooms are some of the nicer ones I've seen for Hilton. The hotel restaurant has some good food!

Older hotel in downtown LA. Met at the door by friendly staff. Room was not ready so they held our bags. When we returned much later we we're upgraded to the penthouse. However this was not a reward. The AC didn't work and after an hour of security staff staring at the controls they provided us with a fan. The next morning room service brought us an empty coffee pot. They must try harder to keep our loyalty.

So this hotel is located in a good area with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff are pretty friendly and checked us in in no time.

The only thing that REALLY pissed me off, is that valet parking is $45 a night. They don’t post the price anywhere and they didn’t tell us at Check-in, I actually remembered to ask while we were heading to our room and quickly asked the front desk assistant. BEWARE. You can park at Pershing Square which is a block away for $16.

Rooms are tiny, probably the smallest room I’ve stayed in. It has a big flat screen TV, and a fairly comfortable bed. Also has a small fridge, in case you bring some drinks back to the hotel. Some rooms face another building and they have absolutely no natural light, it’s very dark in the middle of the day.

The gym is great! Pretty well equipped and maintained, while the rooftop jacuzzi is tiny. There’s not much to do in this hotel other than sleep or have a beer downstairs.

Overall I was expecting so much more out of this hotel I’m glad I paid a special price or I would’ve felt really bad if I had paid full price.

Old hotel trying to be an upscale art deco palace from the past. It's old charm can be annoying at times (2-faucet showers and no bathroom exhaust fan) however. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Personally, I don't like doormen, but that's just me. I'm perfectly capable of opening my own doors. I guess poeple like its location. In the end, it's not worth the price .

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. My friends and I came out to L.A. for a convention, and stayed 2 nights. Any time we left or returned to the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and conversation. The room was very nice, and the rooftop balcony had great views! Would/will definitely stay here again!!!!!

Beautiful hotel. One of the more charming hotels in Los Angeles. Good location. Near many attractions. Took enjoyable evening strolls. Stopped at a sidewalk cafe nearby and had a Cheese danish with coffee. Nice small pool on roof deck but it was too cold to swim that day. We will be back.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

Great service. Awesome front desk staff. They made sure I had the right type of room even though I checked in super late. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Room service breakfast the next morning was fast and of the highest quality. Check out was just as smooth as the rest of the stay. You know the saying,"I'll be back!"

The checkers in LA is a beautiful looking hotel with very nice rooms. However We stayed in room 1205 and the walls were paper thin. We could hear every word of our neighbor conversation. We asked for a room change and the new room was super quite. The valet was great. I didn't eat the food and I only stayed one night.
