The hotel is nice and clean and very spacious! The staff is curtious and very accommodating. I think they only have valet for parking options. I've only ever been here for social events but the hotel is a very nice representation if what LA has to offer.

While I was only there for a conference, the hotel is very beautiful and has a lot of nice amenities. The staff was friendly. It is a little difficult to get to if you are taking public transportation, being right next to the freeway. The food provided for the conference breakfast was tasty. Good bacon!

The rooms are very nice, staff is incredibly nice. The only tough part is the fact you have to come down the street very specifically to get to the hotel. This isn't abnormal for a downtown area, so it's not much of a complaint. The water in the showers (at least our anecdotal evidence) doesn't get very hot, just warm.

The hotel was nice and they were able to get us checked in early which was great. We didn't have much other interaction with the staff. My one real complaint is that the shower did not produce very hot water. I don't know if it was just the time I was showering, but it only reached lukewarm temp.

I have been coming here every year for many years. They have been renovating forever but finally seem to have it dialed in and mostly wrapped up. It is very modern. Great location. Service is outstanding. The only downside is the $40 per day for parking, which is a gouge. An unnecessary gouge.

This place is so beautiful and clean! The staff are so friendly and the rooms are so comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is not that expensive and the food is super delicious. Not to mention, if you get on a tour called "star line", one of the stops leaves you one block away from the hotel. I am definitely coming back!!

Hard to get to from the freeway due to one way streets and upper and lower level streets. But once there, it was a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet.

This was a very nice hotel right in the heart of downtown LA. Clearly many travelers stay here. Valet parking only. Parking was a little hectic. The lobby and public areas have a very modern designreally pretty but the rooms were just okay. Staff was very helpful. The bar was lively. Didn't attend as I was at hotel with children. Would stay again

After checking-in and going to our room, we noticed the towels weren't washed properly and upon further inspection, noticed the beds had hair on them. We called front desk and asked for a different room, and they sent the bell man with a different room key. Same situation. We asked for another room and the manager, Francisco, to come up this time, and he came. We walked with him into the third room and same situation. He said there wasn't much more he could do as he was only a "supervisor" and the hotel only had one manager, David. We read a few reviews and realized they wouldn't give a refund if we left, as Francisco wouldn't guarantee it, saying its a possibility. So we stayed the night and no discounts were given as David wasn't in on Sunday. Monday, David kept dodging our calls until I told the front desk supervisor I'm going to call every hour and bother their staff. David finally calls, and said there was no incident report. He then said he asked room cleaning staff about our room who said it was cleaned. But if there's no incident report, why did you ask about our room? He said he couldn't offer any sort of refund. David's a liar and I would stay away from this Hotel. Hoping they get downgraded from a 4 star, because this was far from a 4 star.

Also, they charge 9.95/day for wifi, which I think is outrageous in today's time.

I attended a luncheon at the L.A. Hotel Downtown. It was my first visit and I was impressed. I only saw the lobby and mezzanine level but they both gave me the impression that this was a nice hotel. The luncheon was in a fairly standard big hotel banquet room and the food served was also fairly standard hotel banquet type food but it tasted really good and I was quite impressed. I've been to enough of these kinds of events to know the good from the bad. The service was solid but I wouldn't say exceptional. All in all I had a pleasant, tasty first experience with this hotel and I would look forward to a return visit.

I stayed here with my team of runners for the 2017 LA Marathon on 3/19/17 - the hotel staff members were courteous, kind and, incredibly helpful with every issue or question that we had. After the remodel, this place is quite luxurious - the elevators are incredibly fast (that's neither here nor there). The rooms were great for the price and they all put up with us milling about at 5am and taking team photos, wrapping knees and bundling up to go meet the shuttle to Dodger Stadium for the marathon start. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed 3 days. Day 1, no coffee in the room. Went to lobby for coffee. Day 2, no coffee in room. Called desk, they would send up. Never happened. Back (5am) to lobby to get coffee. Complained, desk says they will handle. Day 3, no coffee in room. Not that hard.

Our experience in this hotel was amazing! The hotel staff were all really nice, they attended us really fast. The rooms are big, beds are really comfortable. I loved the view that we had of the city. We paid $40 for valet that day. The price for the room was a little too high than what we normally want to spend but it was well worth it. I totally recommend it!!
