My husband was on the elevator and went into free fall four times. He was stuck and couldn't get out. The security feature to call for help was broken. He was lucky he had his phone. The staff were incredibly arrogant and rude. I was worried about my husband and they couldn't understand how furious and upset I was. I happened to push the elevator button and by chance got him out on the 30th floor. Walked down 30 stories to have people be rude. I will never stay or recommend this establishment again.
The room was decent in general. The bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in and the lighting for the whole room was very low. Maybe this is standard for DC, I don't know, but it's fairly annoying to have to pay for parking at a hotel I've already paid to stay in.
Attending a company Holiday party. Staff very friendly, food was good, parking was a bit fun but fortunately it was validated and didn't have to pay. Not easy to get to from Seminary Road, but not too difficult.
I enjoy staying in this hotel during work. I only stay here one weekend a month and haven’t been in a while.
Parking is expensive, unless you already have an agreement with your employer to stay in the federal building.
The pool is nice and the room is always very cozy. I enjoyed the Christmas tree and songs at the greeting. The receptionist was friendly but I had to remind him about the guest complimentary breakfast included with my employers reservation. There’s a beautiful pond in the back and I saw a four point buck in the wildlife park across the street. If only there were a more public entrance to Winkler Wildlife it would be even more pleasant.
Staff was polite and friendly, the room was clean with a nice view. Wedding reception that was held there was lovely, both food and ambiance. On the downside, we had to wait 15-20 for an elevator every time; shuttle service was unreliable picking relatives up from the airport, they were told a pickup time and had to wait an hour longer. I tried to drink water from the tap but couldn't stomach seeing large specks of who knows what. Not a bad stay, but enough little things that I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
My husband and I chose to stay here on a day trip. We researched many hotels and we're very pleased with our choice. Our room was nice & clean. Exactly as it looked online. We also really enjoyed the amenities with the exception of not having a microwave in our room. There was a nice coffee system and mini fridge area but would love to have had a microwave. The views were fantastic from the 16th floor. We reserved our room for the first time adding the breakfast at a discounted price. I was not really clear on how it worked after asking the front desk clerk and the waitress. I think it was a language barrier, but I strongly recommend adding this feature when reserving. The cost is at an incredible discount for two and was more than enough to choose from. We had linens, but did not have any washcloths and that was quickly fixed. Everyone was very polite. We were also very pleased with how helpful the clerk was with her assistance with a late check out. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again.
The Venue for Women's Conference gave just the space to provide Vendors Sales and the location on the restroom to try on which made buying their merchandise a Hit! Three servings of meals for the day was mouth watering! And that Bed just sucked me in and I didn't want to get up. The Shower was so relaxing. That room could have been my cave to hibernate for the weekend! I will return and do just that! Thank you so much!😍😍
We always stay at this Hilton location. The rooms are always clean, the staff/valet are always friendly and go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We are always pleased with our stay and so far, haven't had any major issues with any of our stays. We did have a minor issue checking out. The computer systems were being updated and due to a glitch in the system, I was over charged two of the three nights that we stayed. Angie at the front desk was SUPER helpful and polite while trying to figure out and correct the issue. She was able to correct the issue in a timely manor and was very apologetic about the glitch. I definitely would will be back to this location in the near future and will recommend this location to all of my friends.
Hotel is clean and the room was nice. We got upgraded to a corner room with a "view" of D.C. after my fiance asked about it at the front desk. Had one problem with the batteries in the safe dying, but someone from maintenance was sent up immediately. The pillows were too soft for our liking (#firstworldproblems) and housekeeping was more than happy to deliver 2 firmer ones within 10 minutes of my calling the front desk. Also had a discrepancy on my final invoice vs. what I was quoted in the booking email, but Angie corrected it right away. Angie at the front desk was extremely helpful to us on a number of occasions (three, by my count), actually. The shuttle to/from Pentagon City is a life (and money!) saver. Overall, I would recommend this location.
I attended a national conference here and was very impressed how beautiful the facility was and how wonderful the staff was. The rooms were very large and comfortable. My only gripe is the bar/restaurant had an extensive sushi menu, but limited burgers and bar food.
Very nice hotel with great customer service and lots of amenities. Good location with lots nearby. The rooms and everything in the hotel were in perfect condition. Gift shop has a good selection including a coffee shop, and the restaurant includes a sushi bar. Breakfast buffet was quite good and not overpriced for the quality and location.
Really nice, high end, hotel. I have been here a few times and an really happy. Mark Center Station is right across. Nice restaurant in the lobby. Great view from the higher floors
I stayed her as the mandated hotel for a soccer tournament. It was overpriced ~$180 with taxes. This is a high end business hotel and that market probably likes it. They sell the weekend rooms to family related events and this is not a good match. The rooms were comfortable but small, lacking a extra office chair that I needed to help my son with his homework. The view was great but then I had to rid 28 floors so would have preferred a lower floor. There weren't enough elevators and we had to wait several times - the worst was when we arrived back at 10PM to a mass of kids who had just arrived and my son and I walked up 14 flights and took the elevator from there. They charge $14 - $24 a day for parking yet there is street parking less than a block away. They have valet parking - again, what family wants that. And to top things off, the valet parking guy backed into my car.
Rooms are reasonably priced and clean, there are outlets everywhere and that's awesome. The bathroom is a bit simplistic, but functional. The front desk staff is professional and helpful. When I stayed there happened to be a group of rudely loud teenagers being boisterous in the hall. The staff sent up security quickly who walked around and kept everyone quiet for the night. I appreciated that. Would definitely recommend.
