I have to agree with a previous reviewer - I cannot for the life of me understand why this hotel has such a high rating. It’s super dated and, as the Latin say, dingetta ☺️. Also had the same experience as the last reviewer the toilet didn’t flush. I’ve stayed at plenty of Hilton properties and even other Hampton Inns that were modern and clean I wouldn’t choose this location again.

UPDATE: Hotel management has been super responsive to my concerns. They’ve been good about trying to make things right. They also notified me that they are making improvements to the building and are slated to undergo a renovation.

Why does this hotel have 4.5 stars? Big surprise and not in a good way. I understand that certain amenities are not available during the Pandemic. This hotel is not modern at all. I was assigned a room on the 1st floor which I was told is the 2nd floor. In any event, the toilet ran after every
flush. The room was dark and small. The furniture is old and there weren't any trash bags in the trash cans. Other people on that floor had their trash cans outside their room. You had to dodge them on the way down the hallway.

Staff is doing their job but not a sense of welcoming.
1st and last visit. Will try the hotel next door Homestead also by Hilton. Dissapointed and expensive $145.00 for a 1 night stay without a reservation. Never was asked how my room was or if I needed anything additional. 👎

I'll be definitely coming back! I regularly travel to Alexandria and was using different hotels. I decided to try here last weekend due to the free parking, wi-fi and breakfast. And they exceeded my expectations! Top quality place & friendly customer service. - Tess K.

We were checked in by a lovely lady who asked us about our stay. She armed us with lots of great info to help us get around Old Town which turned out to be a little tricky. She made our stay awesome with the tips she gave us! Very clean rooms and great breakfast.

Hotel staff were helpful. Location of the hotel was great for traveling in the DMV area to all places of interest. Lots of local places to eat nearby whether you want to sit down or grab something quick. Room and bathroom were clean and adequately stocked.

We had 2 great stays at this hotel when we came to attend a wedding and visit DC. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful with directions, using the metro and keeping our luggage safe after we checked out, but still wanted to sightsee. The shuttle was very convenient and the drivers gave us lots of info about getting around DC and Alexandria. Breakfast choices were plentiful and good. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! :)

Easy to find we are 15 minutes away from every major attraction in DC. Right off King Street. Nice modern rooms and clean. Quick check in.

We were able to check in early as we were attending a wedding the same day and needed to change into our fancy attire. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Our room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. All told, we had an excellent stay.

Decent hotel but far from DC with traffic. No metro nearby. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean. No pantry. TGIF is nearby. Plumbing is loud. Every toilet flush you hear.

Cozy place to stay. Parking and breakfast is free which is a great deal. We stayed there and drove for 20 minutes to enjoy the cherry blossom festival this year.

Clean and very pleasant place to stay. Shuttle service to Kim G St Station makes this a great alternative to Arlington Crystal City. Park your car and take the metro. No street noise. Very attentive staff. I have been coming here for business for over a year. Gets better every time.
