Great customer service; staff well informed about attractions in the area. You have a choice of getting a $5 voucher toward food at the hotel if you don't need your room cleaned every day. The room felt like I was in my own apartment it wasn't your typical stale bedroom it was fresh and it looks and feels very comfortable
Nice location in Old Town. The rooms were on par with what I have come to expect from Sheraton Suites. My stay was short but comfortable. Would stay again. It is about 1 mile to train station.
Dog friendly. Very nice room. Only criticism is it was a little dated. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great staff.
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel for the week. The room was very well decorated with a colonial feel. The staff were extremely helpful. Room amenities were also very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best pillows I've ever had at a hotel. The location was convenient to area restaurants and a grocery store next door. My only complaint is that the air vent in the bedroom blew directly onto my side of the bed. Under the covers it's fine, but if you're lounging on the bed reading a book with the air conditioning on you'll get cold fast.
Big rooms because it's an all suite hotel. Well maintained on the club floors. The furnishings are more traditional than modern. Overall it's nice and clean. It's one of my go-to hotels in the Alexandria area.
Beware: Skip this hotel! I can only assume that any positive review of this hotel is fake. I’ve traveled and stayed in numerous hotels, but by far, this is the worst hotel in terms of quality and customer service. First, the rooms are outdated and dilapidated; plaster on walls that haven’t been painted over, dusty curtains that made it hard to breath in the room, and a lingering odor that seemed to be trying to cover up a pet smell. They nickel and dime you with parking being almost $30.00 and breakfast $17.00. They also pulled a bait and switch by telling us when we booked that breakfast was included and we would have access to the club lounge, but mysteriously, at check-in, the notes disappeared. The manager, Victor, was rude and condescending and unwilling to help. The GM never called us back, so it’s clear they don’t care about a guests’ experience. I wish I could find a silver lining, but I’m truly at a loss here. Horrible hotel and management.
Beautiful hotel in a great city. The room is a mini suite and very tastefuly decorated. The bed is comfy. I do wish the walls were a bit thicker but maybe just had super loud neighbors the first night. Second night I heard nothing and slept like a rock. Would love to come back someday.
Rooms were nice and clean. All suites was a bonus. DO NOT book rooms with balconies and pay extra for a "fire escape". Also had to pay for parking and breakfast? Why? It should have been included. Pool and whirlpool were ok. Good location and good hotel overall.
The rooms feel like a small apartment. Feels less like a hotel. It's clean, very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar is nice too. I'd stay here again.
So far so good. The location is perfect, right by the center where I am taking training plus there is a 24 hour grocery store right behind the hotel. Walkable (safely) to good restaurants and Old Town. The rooms are huge. Comfy beds as to be expected with a Starwood property. I am a Gold member and other than the optional bonus points I haven't really experienced anything special.
Great amenities. Found a bug(the one with a lot of legs crawling in our room). Otherwise, everything was great
Our family of four spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria in a room with a king sized bed and a sleeper sofa. The hotel staff was wonderful, and meet our requests promptly, providing us with a more comfortable stay. The kids enjoyed the pool hours. Parents liked being able to close off the bedroom from the kids, and proximity to the metro. Garage parking had charging stations for electric vehicles, including 2 Tesla superchargers, although they were frequently "iced" by non-electric vehicles presumably due to proximity to the elevator.
Great location. 8 min walk to Metro. Supermarket, gas station, Starbucks, diner and more all within a block or two. Ample parking (daily fee) with in and out privs. Clean and neat. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again and recommend.
Quick check in. Attractive well equipped "suite" with modern furniture and electronics. Clean and comfortable. Hot water on demand, and good quality towels. I ate at the bar which offered friendly and prompt service with a staple menu. Food was good quality and served hot. What more can you really ask for at this price point?
