I love Harold Chevrolet's service department!
They honor appointment times, do great work, and are priced appropriately. The personal attention and concern that Brian and Chris share are truly uncommon. After 30+ years of frequenting dealership service departments, Harold' s rates with the best.
many years of indifferent and marginal service at Fort Wayne GM stores makes me want to share to all that a trip north is well worth while!
Good dealership. Found vehicle online for wife and drove an hour to look at it. Was in great condition, and negotiated with me on the bottom line price we wanted out the door with our trade. Salesman Dan was very professional, and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Very happy with the deal, and how we were treated. After a week of dealing with other dealerships trying to inflate their prices, and lowball our trade, we were about fed up. Harold's came through, gave us the deal, and vehicle we wanted. Thanks!
Bought a 2018 Chevy equinox today and the entire experience with Harolds was top notch. My sales rep, Jim, was awesome in helping me choose the right vehicle for me and Dan and Justin were equally as helpful and professional. Thank you for all your help and making this an easy and enjoyable purchase experience.
They got me top dollar for my truck and gave a really good deal on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Was very happy with the salesman Mike.
I recently purchased a 2011 F150, I drove an hour and a half after finding the vehicle online. Very disappointed when I test drove it. The truck had a horrible miss. I had to baby it back to the dealership and when we arrived back truck was looked at by maintenance. The salesman and the manager informed me that the coils and plugs were bad and would be replaced.
They also told me that once the repairs were completed the truck would be delivered. The next day I contacted the salesman and just wanted to confirm that the previously agreed to work was getting done, and to my surprise I was told that the plugs would be replaced but only 3 coils. I asked why not all six and I was told because nothing was wrong with them
Nothing was done to compensate my time and the repairs that were done had to be done regardless. No one would buy a twenty thousand dollar truck if it didn't run.
With much hesitation, I took delivery of the truck only to be disappointed even further. The tailgate did not latch and fell as I was driving. I thought something broke the first time it happened, but I'm working on getting that fixed Next you are not going to believe it, but in the air filter box was a huge rats nest. I was shocked to say the least. So for the next few years I'm paying on a truck that I do regret buying. Oh, and it only came with one key, so I get to buy one of those in the near future.
In my opinion if you are buying a vehicle it should be a great exciting experience.
This dealership lacks attention to detail and lacks respect to their customers.
No, I will not contact the dealership again or stop in at my earliest convenience. You see that's what's wrong with this dealership you write a honest review and you get a generic scripted apologetic response.
Take time. Do research. Like I should have done when buying a vehicle from Harold Chevrolet, and ask the sales team who recently bought a 2011 F150 that needed coils replaced after a failed test drive. Then give me a call at your earliest convenience.
I'm all set now though, my neighbor and I fixed the tailgate. The rats nest has been removed from the air filter box, and I'll be getting a second key soon.
I don't doubt this dealership has new vehicles that come with zero worries, but be careful buying used vehicles. It's evident in the recent reviews something needs to be done with the quality of inspections and customer care.
I've purchased several cars from Harold Chevrolet and have never been disappointed. Best dealership with the best people.
Didn't have a great experience this time. An hour and fifteen min oil change. I had to ask about my car and they brought it to me. The inspection sheet said everything was good but last visit I needed air filter changed and hadn't done so. I told the Gentleman that he said maybe next time it will show up. There may not be a next time. And also my steering wheel was completely black. Very disappointed!
On July 8th, my wife and I went in there to look at a specific vehicle. We walked in and sat down and the salesman started asking why we chose that vehicle and started searching for other ones. I came in knowing what I wanted and he didn't seem very interested in my decision. He finally pulled the car around and went with us for a test drive. We noticed it shook when you applied the breaks. So, when we got back we wanted that fixed before we bought a $20,000 vehicle. They signed a due bill stating they would fix it after the salesman said they normally don't fix those things because someone else could buy it and not worry about it. How unprofessional to tell a buyer that you don't fix things because some people won't notice them!! We also noticed the tires were worn unevenly but the salesman assured us they look at them and replace them if they need it. So, after signing that they would fix it we drove it home. It pulled HARD to the left when we got on I-69. I called them right away and they said it would be aligned also. We looked up in the left corner of the windshield and they had a checklist for tires, battery, and brakes. The brakes were in the RED and the other 2 items were in the yellow. None of them were in the green! We dropped the vehicle off and it took 3 days to put on front brakes, rotors, and alignment!!! I had to call them to get an update everyday! We got the car back and it STILL pulled hard to the left! I called them up very upset that they didn't do it right. Brian said I would be getting a call the next morning from a manager. He called and wanted to make it right. He said if it pulls at that rate of speed, it sounded like a tire issue. They had the car for 2 days and said they "fixed" it. They told my wife they had to replace a front strut!! Needless to say, it still pulls to the left and I'm guessing when I put new tires on it here in a month, it will be good to go. I will go to a different dealership that will take care of their vehicles and doesn't try to sell cars that clearly have a problem and will only fix them if you notice them! Poor service/sales and buyers remorse! I know we could have gotten a better car in Fort Wayne!
Wonderful experience. Staff was amazing. I walked in to the store and walked out with the keys to a 2017 Chevy Cruze.
Purchased 08 equinox from harolds it needed upper intake gasket before taking possession got it home an it had no heat ended up taking it back and they fixed the heating problem
Awesome experience there, don't overlook this dealership, great people's
The customer service I experienced was terrible as well as the mechanical work I received or lack there of. I purchased a used car for my 16 year old daughter and the only stipulations were "safe, reliable and under $3500. Well, needless to say, they must not have heard the first two adjectives.
I was sols a car that needed a transmission, new headlights, and a few days after getting it home the engine light came on and the drivers set belt broke.
I took it back to get fixed in which I was told upon completion everything was "taken care of."
Needless to say, they replaced the headlights and put a used transmission in the vehicle.
When I picked the vehicle up the front seat belt was still broken and the transmission about fell out of the car an hour on the road and the evening after I picked the car up I realized that the headlights do not work. REALLY??????? I decided to not go back there as I am out of patience for a company that does not use active listening skills when in business as well as compromises ones safety, especially knowing the vehicle was for my teenager. To top it off, I took the issues up with the general manager, Joe and instead of addressing them directly with me, he handed his problem off to his used car salesman, Cody who was great however at this point it was too latethe damage was done.
I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.
