Room is clean. The bathroom is medium size with a counter. The bed is comfortable and neither too hard or soft. The breakfast is the only thing that needs improvement.

We stayed a week here. Convenient location. However difficult & dangerous turning left on to street toward Venice. Hotel & rooms are clean.However problems with toilet & hvac. Maintence(Dave?) was suppose to repair, but when we returned to our room at the end of the day to find he didnt do it & front desk didnt know anything. Had to wait for different maintence man who couldnt repair it but had us change rooms at night(making us late for our plans) The "new" room had similar issues with hvac. Staff was friendly but think they should have upgraded or given discount for our issues. Happy that they offered cookies when some Hampton Inn's are not.

The rooms are well appointed, and very clean. Beds are very comfortable, and the staff is always pleasant. The complimentary breakfast is always good, and surprisingly varied, with both baked goods, hot food, and cold options as well. All in all, it's been a pleasure staying here.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. I rented a king suite and it was worth the extra cost. The suite was like a small apartment. It's only a few miles from the beach which also was a major plus! The breakfast there is outstanding and I definitely will go back to this hotel when I visit Venic, FL again.

The location is ideal for going to Siesta key Beach, Caspersen, etc The rooms are big enough for everyone to move around easily, luggage to be stored, and still be comfortable. The beds are VERY easy to sleep on, a little firm for my liking but great nonetheless. Breakfast is really good, waffle maker, different juices, cereals, essentially what you'd expect from a Continental breakfast, with some bonuses. Overall very happy with it.

The hotel room was pretty standard. It was clean and the ac worked great. Nothing spectacular but no complaints either. It had a small fridge which was nice. Pool was nice. Breakfast was also nice, they had sausage eggs and waffles.

Really enjoyed this hotel. We had an issue with plumbing in our room, but we asked the front desk and they sent maintenance to resolve the issue very quickly. The kitchen space was really nice and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is what you would typically expect. Nothing too fancy. Location wise it is great. Took about 30 minutes to get to sarasota and location to the fishing pier and beach was very very close. Next time I come down will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic staff, 10 stars! General Manager Tiffany S. is amazing and instills customer service as the primary goal for her staff, and it shows! The facility is what you should expect, it's a hotel. Staff does a wonderful job keeping things clean and running. If you're coming to the area this is the place to stay!

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. We've stayed here lots of times over the years and this was the worst. The AC wouldn't​ get the room cold so I was moved to another room and had the same issue. The breakfast is a good deal. The only real saving Grace was the guy at the front desk named Nick who was trying to be accommodating and empathized with us. Without the breakfast and front desk staff it would be 1 star.

The staff at the Hampton go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. the rooms are clean and well decorated. Very homelike. Stay very often for business, and stay is always relaxing, after a rough day at work.

My husband and I came for 2 nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
We've had a great experience!
I wanted to buy some milk for my husband but they don't sell it. So the nice man behind the counter went out of his way to go to kitchen and get me a glass of milk. I loved that service! So sweet!
Fresh coffee and lemon water at all times in Lobby.
Breakfast was good. Ham and cheese egg scramble looked like real eggs and the French toast sticks were good.
There were two people working the breakfast area and everything stayed stocked quickly. They were serving us on Christmas morning and were happy and cheery about it! I was impressed!
Room was humid when we walked in but kept air on all night and it was fine! We would be back!response / report this review
