I have stayed here before and loved it. This trip was disappointing. The gym is a disaster, not only is it small but nothing works. 80% of the cardio equipment doesn’t work and the one weight machine is broken. The pool bar which in the past had been open daily all day, I never once saw open in my almost week stay. They said it was open Friday and Saturday so i guess it had opened while i was at dinner? Also, there is no dining on the property. It looks like there will be again soon but nothing currently. None of this was conveyed to me when i booked. I will give them another try at a later date as it looks like they’re trying to renovate but for now it’s a bit disappointing. As far as the staff goes, they couldn’t be nicer. That is a huge plus.

Lovely clean place. When I was in there, they were under renovations but I did not hear any type of drilling or construction noises when I was in my room. The pool area is very very nice. Live music and great drink specials during happy hour.

The decor for this hotel was very nice and modern. Also they have a nice pool area and a free coffee and hot chocolate machine. The room was clean and well organized with plenty of lighting options. There were a few negatives as well. If it rains, they close their tiki bar which is the only on site food option, but I believe they are working on a restaurant in the future as well. In the room, while the bathroom was beautiful, I would have preferred it have a courtesy fan as well. Also, both of our key cards were turned off after the first day, even though we had a two night reservation. And while the breakfast was free and had nice fresh fruit and berries, the eggs were powdered and honestly not that great. Imagine holiday Inn express breakfast with fewer options. But there was plenty of bacon. Lots of good, but a few not so good. Overall, glad we went for the price we paid.

I called a few hotels in Sarasota before Bentleys after hurricane Irma. We were without power for 6 days and finally decided to go to a hotel. Many would not allow our two dogs to come along. I was almost in tears by the time I called Bentleys who was SO friendly and accommodating and said "of course we will allow your pets". We had a great two days there, had fun in the pool, had a great breakfast included with our room. Most important was the compassion they had for the people suffering from the hurricane, it was awesome!!!!!!!

At 1st sight not a big deal but inside & structural setup very good. No elevators due to only 2 floors would be difficult with lots of luggage. Able to hear & see entertainment and pool deck area from room balcony. Can eat in/out or just hang out by poolside bar.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we lost electricity during hurricane Irma. What a wonderful surprise! From the outside, due to renovations, we were a little concerned but it is a treasure once you are in. An inner courtyard with pool, time bar, lots of seating, and eventually the restaurant. Our room was comfortable and of good size. We looked how they named each room. The rooms were well decorated and the bathroom clean. The shower pressure was lacking but considering the hurricane just blasted through, not an issue. I would recommend the Bentley without reservation.

Private cabana area right off the room. Overlooking Pool bar area and your own private Sandy beach. Very nice, laid back yet classy place. Eclectic mixture of folks stayed here. Very nice. Breakfast included was full hot breakfast too. A bit of a walk and more like a drive to the beach though.

Rooms were small but modern and nice. Construction was ongoing but you could tell it was going to be nice. Internet and breakfast sucked but what can you expect for free?

Clean. Complimentary breakfast had good selection and the food was good. Rooms all brand new and beautiful. Bathroom was gorgeous. Pool was clean and area was comfortable and happy.

Room was very modern and clean. When you take a shower it steams up the entire room. There needs to be better ventilation and a fan in the bathroom to help with this issue or they may end up with mold down the road. The pool was nice. Bar food not that great at all. The breakfast that came with the room was you're basic free breakfast but not bad.

A good experience for a short R&R trip, good rooms, good beds, and friendly people at the front desk.
I rented the rooms on the Best Western online site and yet when we got there I could find not a single ONE identifier that this hotel is a member or in any way related to the Best Western experience. Strange and weird.
