Stay here at your own risk. Not only is the hotel in need of a serious update, but the parking situation is very unsafe. Our driver side window was smashed and the door was gouged in an attempt to get in and steal the car.

Got my boyfriend a room here for a brief visit this weekend at a very affordable rate. The young lady at the check in counter (Beth) was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were nice, and we enjoyed continental breakfast together. The gentleman who made the breakfast was really on the ball and even served everyone who was waiting in line for the new batch of sausage, eggs, and biscuits.

If you need to stay in SA near the medical center, stay at the Pear Tree Inn. You will not be disappointed!

Was initially given a room that was dirty and had not been cleaned, then received another room that had a strong smell of urine. Finally on the third try they finally gave me a decent room. This is all happening at around midnight after a long day and drive. First time I've ever had any problems at a Drury inn. They are usually the only place I stay.

I think we will be making this our new go to hotel! Great staff! Breakfast is great! Free beer/ wine with nachos and popcorn is a bonus! Shower gel/ shampoo / conditioner no little bottles here they have dispensers in the shower use as much as you want! All in all a great hotel!

Clean rooms and attentive staff. Our first room smelled horrible because of an A/C water leak. The front staff immediately gave us a new room and apologized for the inconvenience.
The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. We booked two identical rooms for 5 people. We were all comfortable.
One star deducted because both rooms had malfunctioning refrigerators. We bought groceries because we expected to be able to keep them fresh overnight. Most of the food was ruined by the bad refrigerators.
I would stay there again.

The second room we were assigned was was basic, practical and clean. The first room had a rotting smell coming from a large, very wet area on the carpet from what seemed to be an A/C condensation water leak. The staff was very nice and professional when we asked for a different room. Overall, it's a practical place to stay if you're looking for a clean bed, friendly staff, and basic amenities in a location that's neither far nor close to major attractions along IH 10.

Compares nothing To the ACTUAL Drury This was our first stay officially at a Pear Tree..never again staff at front desk said they did a once over verifying our room was clean Yet after meeting with family and friends we headed back after a great day only to find hair THAT WAS AND IS NOT ours throughout the bedTHE TOP EVENT IF THE EVENING HIW ABOUT A HUUUGE,I mean HUGE flying Roach was in our room,killed it and left at front desk to show management. My wife was not amused to say the leastfeels that compared to the DruryPear should step it up TRIPLE TIME!!

Hotel was okay at first. Then started noticing bed bugs. I killed 4 adult bed bugs during my stay. I reported it to the front desk, who gave us an attitude. Luckily we received phone numbers to report the matter to the managers.

We had an excellent overnight stay at this hotel in Texas! The complimentary breakfast feast is always excellent, especially the Texas shaped waffles, very delicious. Our room was on the top floor and was extremely nice and peaceful and the beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud, very comfortable. Great location and we chose it because we are rewards members and they are also pet friendly, which is usually a requirement for us. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, more than most hotels we've stayed in this year. Excellent hospitality! All stars for this hotel!
