Nice room, fairly close to public transit and relatively inexpensive (at the time I went). Some minor issues such as being able to feel doors closing, being woken up by housekeeping knocking on the door around 10am, and technical problems with the TV. Overall a pleasant stay.

Location was awesome for Brooklyn hanging out. Also good spot to walk to downtown and financial district spots. Easy getting to from JFK by train. Room was small, but fine since we weren't hanging at the hotel like dummies. Great free breakfast every morning. Only thing that sucks was no mini fridge.

Great location. 10 min walk to Fulton St Subway station. Nice room service and view of One World Trade Center. Friendly front desk love how you can use points to save money on your room rate!

The hotel itself seemed relatively nice. The staff was pretty friendly, especially the reception. Small rooms was to be expected, especially for the good price I got on a last minute room. The only thing was that they put me basically in the basement (I think?) where all the employees were cleaning & very loud & social. It was not a peaceful stay, but I definitely got a great deal, so the value was great. You've gotta give a little to get a little. I'm sure the upper level rooms were way nicer.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful I actually was kind of sad to leave, the staff made both my family and myself very comfortable and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely stay here again and I would suggest that anyone who is looking for an inexpensive but comfortable place to stay should book a room here. The complimentary breakfast was great and the waffles were fresh, and even though you have to make them yourself ( they do provide you with the batter and directions on how to make the waffles) it was a great experience. My family and I will definitely be back.

Two key things other Hampton Inns provide (not all but some) that would of been helpful are a mini fridge and a laundry area. We were forced to find a laundromat in lower Manhattan which is not a vacation. The eating space was so packed we had to eat in our room. But the price beats anything so inexpensive for being in Manhattan. It was also within walking distance of several restaurants. Not somewhere I'll like to spend a lot of time, just a place to rest your head.

I tell you what, for a large chain with a location in the middle of Manhattan, I did not expect the level of personal attention and customer service I got. I felt it would be good as far as cleanliness and professional, which I got, but the staff routinely went out of their way to make sure my stay was exceptional. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was personable and helpful. The size of the hotel made for a small enough staff that recognized me daily and made me feel like each night I was returning to some boutique hotel or bed and breakfast and not a large hotel.

Small rooms, which I guess is the standard case with NYC real estate. No drawers for clothing, and the room had a very musty smell originating from the air conditioner. Rooms were otherwise clean and service was good. Standard hotel breakfast.

I would definitely stay here again for the low hotel fares. I expected worse considering the low number of hotel stars. Place was clean and the staff was great!

Very good location; close to Chinatown, Financial District, Brooklyn Bridge. Bus is right in front of the building. Nice staff, clean and big room (we had 2 double beds),hot breakfast included, coffee and hot tea available 24 hrs.
