Convenient location for FiDi banks, with easy access to 1 and the 45. Nice views of the WTC, but limited facilities. No restaurant for room service or breakfast. Only 3 suites in entire hotel so limited SPG platinum benefits. Rooms are small but well appointed. Friendly staff.

This is an incredible example of a W hotel. The rooms are stylish as one would expect. The amenities are complete. The views are amazing (see below).

Do note that when you enter the ground floor you need to head up to floor 5 which is where the check in is.

The location of this hotel is amazing. Steps away from all the world trade center sites as well as the statue of liberty and wall street. The lobby is very nicely decorated and has a great modern look with great music. The lounge is very nice but the drinks are on the expensive side (even for NYC). Staff was pleasant and the rooms were nicely equipped. However the rooms are showing their age a little. Lots of scuff marks on the walls and damaged carpet. Overall though the issues are not enough to ruin the stay. Id recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the downtown area.

Rooms have a modern design. As of Nov 2017 the only hotel restaurant is closed so food is not available on site. There is significant construction in the area so expect noise from cranes and heavy equipment even late at night.

Penthouse bar is really cozy and stylish! The staff are polished and friendly. Suites in this hotel are everything you'd expect in terms of style and luxury, not to mention the swanky downtown views of FiDi and 9/11 memorial are great to gaze at day or night. Highly recommend, if not for a stay, then drinks and lounging will do.

Hotel is conveniently located near many downtown attractions. Room had a great view of one world trade center. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel is very new and location is very convenient. The room is clean and modern. The view of the city was great. My son liked it so much that he said he did not want to leave. However with all these perks the hotel certainly isn't cheap, and you have to find and pay for your own parking (which is expensive too). But at least it was an enjoyable experience.

An amazing view towards the Freedom Tower. I asked for a high floor room when booking with the view to Ground Zero and was astonished when entering my room by the view. I love the lobby design and front terrace as well. I would definitively recommend it when staying downtown

Spectacular lobby with undulating ceiling at this W Hotel, with stunning views of the World Trade Center, including the Freedom Tower. Rooms are cozy, but contemporary, with many having reading nooks along the windows (see photos). Lobby bar can get noisy on weekend evenings. There is no ground-level restaurant (went out of business recently), but tons of options nearby.

It was swanky in the lobby but the rooms were a bit small and basic. The lobby and bar was awesome, just DEAD all the time. Can't beat that view of the freedom

The location of this hotel is great. We had amazing views of the world trade center and 9/11 memorial. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

This is my first time staying at a W hotel (however I am an SPG gold member and have stayed in multiple SPG resorts before). It took some time to figure out how the lights and outlet work. My hairdryer was broken and I called concierge twice, but no one picked up; so I went downstairs as I was leaving for work and personally asked the concierge desk to send one up. Later that night, I never got a new one as promised, and had to call again. Outside of the service and the new functionalities of the room, I do enjoy the front and center view of the World Trade Center. It's a good location and as a consultant (and frequent traveler), I do appreciate the convenience and location.

I stayed here one night. Fit the bill. The restaurant was being renovated. As my welcome amenity I chose breakfast but that only gets you a coffee and a croissant. Kinda sparse. I know that's all I'm entitled to but most Starwood hotels give a whole lot more than that. The room was nice and had a great view. Wall Street is dead at night so I wouldn't pick this location for tourists but if that's where you need to be for work or any other specific reason then I can't comment on location. Overall I was happy with my stay and it will be my downtown go to hotel but I prefer midtown unless I have engagements downtown.
