So far the hotel has been very comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly. Not necessarily luxurious but we new that when we reserved it. Breakfast was meh, but the coffee is actually pretty decent. Location is great as well.

Free breakfast is always a great touch. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. But elevators and lobby are really small and the rooms could use some maintenance.

Horrible, staying at the 1411 room and all night all kinds of noise.

It felt all night it was a vacuum and things getting hit. I called the front desk and Marcus and he said let me check with the team. Then he calls and says: it is the air conditioner unit, and I said it is not an air conditioning I can hear a vacuum or a work they are doing upstairs all night all morning, I haven't slept it all.

He calls back and says: I am sorry it is the elevator because you are next to him.really?? He says there is nothing they can do about it and that they can move me to another room away from the elevator.

It really sucks they pretend it is the elevator as I heard last night that one of there rooms got flooded last night. I am pretty sure is the room upstairs they are trying to dry the floor.

I am trying to cancel the night I have with them tonight and they won't accept it.

By the way all hotel smells bad. I don't recommend this place.

Great room, hot breakfast. Superb valet. Fitness machines not all functional, over the air tv's, pool closed. Fan in room absent, AC worked fine. Fitness room has great view (on roof). Soda is 3.50. Terrific location, can see ocean from room. Would return.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Stayed here for Marathon weekend (2017) and were very pleased with the facility and the staff. Parking was expensive, but certainly not unreasonable for downtown full valet services (with unliminted in/out privileges). We were on the 38th floor, which provided very nice views of the city/buildings towards/beyond the Magnificent Mile. The bathroom was definitely on the small side, but there was only two of us for this trip, so we easily made it work. Can't wait to go back to Chicago, and will certainly stay here again.

Initial desk service was perfect and to the point. Rooms were smaller than I thought but clean and cozy. Even with a medic rushing the hallway, workers for the hotel were polite and professional.

Location, location, location. We (unfortunately) have to be at Northwestern Hospital often, sometimes very early and sometimes very late. The hotel is right across the street. Deals can sometimes be snatched using Hilton Honors points. The staff is always friendly. And Michigan Ave shopping and fine dining are very close.

We actually stayed at Homewood Suites which is connected to the Hampton. It has more spacious rooms with a full kitchen. They also offer an evening reception with wine and food. It is a nice spread. The hotel has 40 floors so you have to be patient with the elevators. One block from Magnificent Mile.

Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, and great location for tourists. I was given a handicap accessible room on the 16th floor, which was very spacious, but unfortunately directly across from the elevator and next to the electrical room (which randomly sounded like someone vacuuming at odd hours). The cost of parking was very high ($60), but didn't seem to be out of line with similar establishments in downtown Chicago. The staff happily accommodated our early departure time, preparing light breakfast bags to go well before the official breakfast time. I can't comment on the price since my room was paid for by my company, but for a business traveler interested in spending some time taking in the sites, I would recommend it and be happy to go back myself.

Great staff and awesome location. Very quiet and cozy rooms. The only disappointment was the $50/day they hold on your credit card. It would be nice to know about this before we booked. Then after checking out we have to wait 7-10 days for it to go back on to our card. We will be considering another hotel next time we visit chicago

Wonderful location, spacious and comfortable rooms. I was able to arrange an early check-in for a business trip requiring a few hours of much-needed sleep before giving an important presentation. The hospitality coordinator handled my request, informed the front desk staff and simply asked me to call when I reached the airport. All was taken care of and with a friendly and efficient manner. All of the staff were wonderful including Robert at the door. On the 26th floor is an incredible housekeeper named Elisabetha who treats every guest as if they were family. Several guests were there having medical treatment at nearby Northwestern University Medical facilities and she offered concern and comforting care for their well-being. This hotel is really outstanding.

View was the best I've had. (37th floor, looking towards sears tower) room was spacious. Guest services responded to our needs promptly (pillows for the fold out) breakfast was a tad cold but filling. Would definitely stay here again.
