Very nice place. View of the city was very nice and the staff were very nice. Parking 69 bucks a night but that's typical Chicago for ya. Would definitely stay here again
This is my first time staying at this location. The lobby is on the second floor and there are no markings to this fact. Check-in time took a little long. They do have a texting service that is very convenient. Our room was nice and updated. The room was very clean and had a great view of the magnificent mile. The beds are extremely comfortable.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Good service and very helpful. I requested them if I could check out at 1pm and they changed it from 11 to 1 with out any fuss and even the valet parking guys were nice and helpful.
The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was spotless and had 6 pillows and a great duvet, super comfortable. It had all the usual amenities of a Hyatt. The things that stood out for me were the ample outlets including a set on the front of each nightstand for charging devices, motion- activated nightlights under the nightstands that lit to the bathroom, and a detached, lit makeup mirror in the bathroom, so I could sit at the desk in the main room to apply makeup. The negative was the proximity to the hospital; ambulances all the time, but they provided great earplugs, so it wasn't terrible by any means, just somethung to be aware of. Overall, a really good stay in a consistently quality hotel chain.
It is just like it's site, staff are polite and friendly, good location, nice rooms within a good facility. It gets 3 stars because it is exactly what you would expect if you checked its site and the price. nothing more or less. I'd have no trouble stay here again. I didn't find anything that would make me reduce my rating and didn't encounter any pleasant surprises or exceptional experiences that would make me raise it

The worst part of our stay had nothing to do with it--we used the valet for our car at $70 per night, and they returned it to us so filthy we could hardly recognize it. It was so bad, they had used the wipers and wiper fluid to clean the windshield. I'd have given it 5 stars, but the treatment of our car was atrocious.
This was an excellent stay. Just off of the magnificent mile, so there are several excellent places to eat, drink, shop, and sightsee. Public transportation is also very close so you don't have to drive everywhere and hassle with parking.
This hotel is cool, but with there being so many in the area, I probably wouldn't come again unless nothing else was available. I was given a room, and as soon as I walk through the door, I look to my right and I notice that there was a towel thrown on the vanity in the bathroom area. I'm like ok, this is odd, but I look at the other towels around and they were folded as they should have been, so I'm thinking if this is the only problem I'll keep the room. Then my eyes go to the toilet where there is a big ole wad of tissue. Mind you all of this occurs with me standing in the door way. After I see the tissue, I didn't bother to go any further into the room. I lug my HUGE suitcase back down to the front desk and tell the receptionist, my room is not clean. They show great customer service and give me a free drink and a new room. HOWEVER, when the front desk called to see how the new room was, I was told that the housekeeping manger flat out lied and said she checked my previous room and it was clean. I didn't fully inspect the first room, but a big ass was of tissue in the toilet and a towel on the vanity after sometime washed there hands from using the bathroom is not a fully cleaned hotel room! Down at the restaurant and bar, the service is also spotty. Some of the staff are top notch, others not so good. One young guy virtually ignored everyone while he did inventory.
I was there with my parents and boyfriend for a wedding at the banquet hall. The venue was nice and staff members were helpful. The food was ok. The lobster bisque soup was good, but the main entree was not as good as we hoped. The NY strip steaks were all well done except one which was medium. We prefer it rarer, but I suppose it wasn't a deal breaker in terms of the night.
Location on the Mag mile is good. Stayed in a standard room which was nice and clean. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely a modern/new feel. Staff was able to accommodate our early check-in request. My wife is a nursing mother and she needed to pump (weekend away from the kids), which was our reason for an early check-in (no nursing mother rooms or real private areas otherwise). Very good experience.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around
I love that they serve Starbucks as complementary coffee and there's a Starbucks downstairs if you want more than just regular coffee. The service is wonderful! I forgot a few items in the room after we checked out and was able to retrieve it before flying back to NY.
We booked a room with this hotel and I understand having policies in place, but a family member passed away this morning and so we called to cancel our room for the night and explained the situation. They would not allow us to get even a partial refund. After hours on the phone they said we could change the date. We tried many many dates but all were booked and we are moving at the end of June. It isn't out fault they are booked. This is the last thing anyone should be dealing with when trying to deal with the death of a loved one and planning arrangements. Terrible customer service. Waste of money. Waste of hours on the phone back and forth. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. If you're looking for decent human beings you will not find them here. Worst experience with a hotel that I have ever had- and I have had many.
Addendum: Now they are trying to double the price on top of everything else. These people are unbelievable and should be ashamed.

It is in a great location in the heart of Chicago. Only 5 minutes from Navy Pier and a couple of blocks from the Water Tower Place. The hotel rooms are modern and great! Great price and food too! Superb!
Perfect location! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The check in process along with parking was flawless Unlike the hotel we stay at previously. Pool was closed one day/night for cleaning which was a bummer for my kids but all in all great stay.
